Hi all miners! Then I can inform that all balances on all accounts on TrasMaMod XMG Pool has been paid out! We will again thank for the years together on the pool. And it has been an honor to support the XMG-network! I personally will not disappear from Magi Community, I will be around here and there. But I will not run any Magi pool Cheers, tommyrsk Hey Tommy, sad to see your pool closing.

JayDDee I tried to send you a private message but I can't. Don't have enough "credibility"

If there is a disconnection between pool and proxy, this happens:
The proxy needs to close the connection so the miner can detect the error and reconnect properly. Ok, I do a bit more testing, the proxy is closing the connection, that's why I don't understand it. It doesn't happen with previous versions either. my apology, the proxy does not close connection properly if fail-over pool is not specified. Error on my side

Can I ask what miners are you using? I am using cpuminer-opt and on older machines the good old m-minerd, just interested to see if I can squeeze a bit more BTW it's almost 10ct today!!!

Some weird things happening on algo m7m. Miner compiled locally with proper settings. Miner is running via a local proxy set in another machine. If there is a disconnection between pool and proxy, this happens: If I shut miner down and restart it, all goes well again. First time i see something like this. Any idea? I can troubleshoot if you need me to. I have several machines exactly the same to test if need be. I set roundrobin very low on purpose on the proxy to test it and can replicate it. It doesn't happen on 3.12 or 3.14 versions. I recompiled a fresh version of latest, tried 4 times, once it recovered as normal, 3 times it failed. ~~~ few friends told me I will get bored after retirement... I am enjoying every second of it ~~~

I've stopped trying to add avery algorithm, most of them die off in a few months. I have to see some potential for a future. Among other things it must be mineable in a major pool with autoexchange. Fair enough, the community is not too bad on it, https://miningpoolstats.stream/raptoreumand the few miners available are based on your work! The problem is that is better to compile locally to optimize the build for your own hardware. In my link from github there is the module for gr algo and thought would have been simple for you to check and add it.

What is the purpose of "name" in "pools" settings? "pools" : [ { "name" : "proxy",
everything works fine but pools I mine into, show each single machine name. Is any way to only show one miner at the pool using the "name" parameter?

i mined xmg back in 2017 and i stopped one week later(i mined with a raspberry pi 3). i was new to crypto currencies and i didn't know that xmg had a big community. I am mining it now since 5 or 6 months because i had the interest in crypto and i remember that coin that i mined it back in the days. I think i am now too late, the price is low but i still mine and stack, maybe in the future we will see something good for xmg. Even without joe,the developer, the community made a new website,so the community is still active ,this is a good thing.
Same here. I started mining xmg because the cpu in my rigs were not doing much while gpu mining. Magi gave me opportunity to understand many bits and bobs of mining and later how to properly set POS. I don't think it's too late, yes it's worth nothing at the moment and has been very low price for long time but.... it's still alive and community active. I have a bunch of single board computers all very old based on 486 and pentium, they all 32bit and I make about 100xmg every week. I know it's nothing but keeps me entertained

What can you see as future for XMG? I have been mining it on and off since 2016 while GPU mining. This coin still active with several mining it but I can see that Joe is not active anymore thus what's the future holding? Back in the days it was in few good exchanges, now our only option is hodl. What do you guys think? Keep mining to hodl and stake? I am tossing if I want to fire up my miners and just CPU mining or...

Is anyone still using this proxy? I am unable to compile it locally, I think because it relies on dependencies now obsolete? Anyway, using the latest release available, the proxy start but throws lots of errors. I can connect to a pool but that's it. Can't connect my miners to it nor I can get the web interface running. In snippet, first of the errors I am getting. Anyone able to shed some light? what is the proper syntax for selecting proxy? -x, --proxy=[PROTOCOL://]HOST[:PORT]
assuming you have a proxy server running on 192.168.55.10 with listening ports 8333 for stratum and 8335 for getwork
I tried different combinations but always receive: ./cpuminer: no URL supplied Try `--help' for more information.
in the easiest form should work as -x --proxy=192.168.55.10
-x --proxy=stratum://192.168.55.10:8333 -x --proxy=stratum+tcp://192.168.55.10 -x --proxy=tcp://192.168.55.10:8335 -x --proxy=//192.168.55.10
all yield same result

I have a couple of rigs running on ubuntu with 6x R7 370 each. No problems at all with those. Last few days I been trying to build another rig with HD7970 and R9 280 but those older cards are only hashing 0.2 and 0.4 sol. I am confused if I need to add the tahiti.bin file somewhere?
Same as per the R7 370, I run ubuntu server 12.04 with fglrx 15.302 drivers. Tried to put the SDK but no changes at all.
I thought I would get more out, anyone knows? Lolliedieb any advice?
