Amazing project, I was mining but never took tokens, left and still running away, you can see also in explorer the 4 txids with the questionmarks.
I think is another abandoned project

An update on the algorithm change, we expected the fork to happen at block 555,555 the same as SWAP but it did not happen, we ended up deciding that we are going to stick to cryptonight superfast as this will make our coin unique as there are no other coins with our algorithm.
It will be great as currently most graphics cards can mine our coin and if the algo change had happened it would have been 4GB+ only!

What are you talking about? if you have been in our discord you would have seen that the algo change didn't happen as it was supposed to at block 555,555 and we are trying to figure out why. I have been talking to swap devs and they said it was a hard fork for them so we will have to figure out how to do that, because you know, we've never done this before and it's all learning! |

Hello! So let me just start to explain my situation, I am the developer of the coin "cryptocoin" and I've been building a new crypto exchange for the past few months, the aim was to use cryptocoin as the exchanges native currency and offer exchange listings to new/small coins for really low price. What has happened you ask? well basically I'm from Ireland and our government just brought in new regulations concerning cryptocurrency exchanges and custodial wallet services. It means that in order to launch the exchange I would have to register a limited company, hire a team of lawyers and go through a huge application process with the Irish Central Bank just to get licencing for AML reporting. So for how small it was meant to be at the start it just isn't feasible for me to go ahead with it, I would have needed serious investment to get it off the ground here which I don't have the time or skills to do as I am currently in full time education studying computer science. So what am I selling? I am selling a fully working exchange, with very desirable branding and a beautiful frontend design. The domain name cryptx.trade and also if the buyer would like I can simply give them the entire dedicated server I have the site setup on with kimsufi (which is extreme cost efficient). The only tasks a new owner would have to do is setup the crypto wallets and change all the passwords etc. The exchange is built with opendax and it uses Ruby on Rails & docker. another scam project.the idea is to wind up the price. problems with the wallet are not solved, problems with payments are not solved. but from time to time they talk about frantic potential and capitalization. in response to healthy criticism, we see rudeness and blocking. Just a little update for those who aren't in our discord, due to the lack of options when it comes to exchange listing, or the exorbitant prices people expect devs to pay for listings I decided to build my own exchange for cryptocoin. There will be no pairs such as BTC:LTC or LTC:ETH, only pairs for cryptocoin and other small coins that apply for listing. For new/small coins I will be offering listings for very affordable prices.
The exchange will be called CryptX and will be launched within the next few days. I will make an announcement in service announcements section in due course.

If your block time its 1/8 of the original (monero) you have to change many other settings, to make a secure and reliability blockchain.
The algo change has nothing to do with it.
Ok well you are barking up the wrong tree, this is a clone of SWAP by students who are learning, I have made no changes to the codebase, if you know about any security or reliability issues with the SWAP codebase you should let their devs know: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5083455.0Currently we are not experiencing any issues with our blockchain so it would appear to me that this is a non-issue. But if you would like to elaborate further please be my guest. Also if you have any examples of other coins with a similar codebase that had the issues you are stating then please share. |

I got a problem, my wallet says it's up to date, but the coins mined on Letshash.it don't show up at all...
Used correct address to mine... pool payments went out, saw txids, wallet just won't actually sync.
Also, FYI Kaspersky has a big problem with it...
Hi! Yeah the fix for that is to go into settings -> info -> change wallet restore height to 0. And yes antivirus programs always have issues with crypto software. |

New to bitcointalk, created this account so I could warn people not to waste their time with this coin.
It looked interesting so I joined the Discord, and in the trading channel the lead developer was saying that €1k is too expensive to get the coin listed on an exchange. I think it goes without saying, €1,000 is not very much money when you're developing a new coin, so I said "If you're serious about the coin, €1k is like a pence to a pound".
The developer, when responding to my concern that he isn't serious about the coin, does he say something reasonable? For example, "Yes I'm serious about the coin and as time goes on, paying money to have the coin listed on exchanges will not be as much of an obstacle in the near future." Or anything like that? Does he attempt to assure me, the investor, that I should invest? No. He asks me if I'm a developer and what coins I've made, then I said "We're talking about CryptoCoin and I'm not developing CrpytoCoin, you are." He kicked me from the Discord server.
So even though it's clear that this developer isn't prepared to answer questions, I will ask this. Why did you post on this forum if you're not ready for public release and have no interest in fielding questions and concerns from investors?
Listen Mr. Bigshot investor, I am not trying to sell you anything, I am not looking for investment, read the announcement if you are unsure what the project is about, thanks. |
