There is a new name for it now, it is called domain flipping. Yes, it's derived from real estate flipping. Many people make a living through this but just like real estate, luck plays a important factor. You must have the right domain name at the right time.

I don't see any reason for governments to illegalize Bitcoin. It doesn't break any laws. "Bitcoin is just an alternative economy and ideally people should be able to exchange goods in alternative economy if they so choose." So governments should leave Bitcoin alone.

I think that it's better for his identity to remain a mystery.
People want to know who the real Satoshi is, but there already are individuals who claimed that they are the real Satoshi, and nobody believed them. How can anyone prove that he is the real one when he hid his identity so well? Anyone who will try to will be met with skepticism. The more claims, the more unbelievable they become.
Satoshi Nakamoto should remain as he is, unknown.

Benjamin Franklin once said. " there are only two things certain in life, death and taxes."
There are plenty of tax avoidance schemes out there, but most of it would just minimize the taxes you have to pay and it's mostly for the very rich people. Tax is inevitable. You stop paying taxes when you're dead.
Taxes are the lifeblood of government. Paying taxes is a good thing.

I honestly believe that one-world government is very unlikely to happen, heres why: "Given the incredible diversity of the world’s people and cultures, it will be difficult to adopt any policy that does not inflict severe harm on at least some groups. The problem of dissident minorities has been difficult to address within individual nation-states. It would be far more severe under a world government." -Ilya Somin
As to a world currency using blockchain, it is a very good idea. Although, it might be difficult to implement without a one-world government.

It depends on what kind of catastrophe, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency only works as long as you have working device and gadgets. Without smartphones, computers, internet and electricity, it is nothing. Food , water, clothing, shelter and safety are the basic human needs, and these are the most valuable things during catastrophes. Money, treasures and other store of wealth lose its value or degrade.

I've read from a Forbes.com article that the demand for cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin surged along with the protest. The protesters didn't want their government to identify them, so they avoid using their current centralized payment system. If the scenario worsens, the rich Hong Kong people might use Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to store their wealth but if China gets its way, they might ban Bitcoin and the rest in Hong Kong just like what they did in Mainland China.
