Hello, my english isnt the best. I will write my question in german. I hope thats ok.
Hallo, die Corona Krise hat mich an meine längst verstaubte Quark Wallet erinnert. Ich habe mir die Version 0.10.7.4 heruntergeladen und über Nacht "aufholen" lassen. (es stand 6 Jahre & 33 Wochen sind aufzuholen")
Als ich vor einer Stunde wieder am PC war, merkte ich das sich die Wallet bei 11 Tagen aufgehängt hatte. Ich habe die Wallet dann neu gestartet (das dauert ewig) und nun ist sie leider wieder bei 6 Jahre & 33 Wochen im Rückstand.
Fragen:
1) Was bedeutet "Eine aktive Verbindung zum Netzwerk" Gibt es außer mir nur noch einen weiteren der mit mir die Daten teilt ?
2) Beginnt die Wallet immer bei >6 Jahren zu dowloaden?
3) Ich habe noch das Passwort und die Adresse der alten Wallet hier herumliegen..sehe aber (in der nun wieder nicht aktuellen) Wallet keine Option diese Daten einzufügen - kommt diese Option nach dem Aktualisieren noch, oder wie komme ich an meine alte Wallet?
The chain is VERY unstable because nobody cares anymore aperantly. You can try to -reindex the wallet. I always start it with reindexing otherwise it doesn't work. What I do is type this in cmd: <the path of the wallet *.exe>\quark-qt -reindex Hope it helps. |

Hey thanks I went back and saw thread after I posted but I don't know how to install the wallet on the linux server. I think I can do the rest but not exactly sure of doing this step below.
2.Install Quark wallet on the server，And download the block file and paste it in the Quarkcoin folder
Just start the quarkd. ( ./quarkd). You need to give it rights tho. Just start reading from here. I've also asked around before months. let's hope that everything is not in vain... |

We're currently waiting for an update from ghzsymc2, as he has been in contact with the dev.
Okay... Do you have a contact with ghzsymc2 to ask him how the things are going on, or are we just sitting and waiting for something, that no one knows what is it and when is going to happen if it will...!? |

Might be my lack of understanding but something looks very dodgy with the master nodes to me.
Looks to me like masternode stakes are being recycled and getting multiple payments.
Look at block 7534503.
10000 qrk removed from a wallet that was and continues to receive masternode payments.
That 10k is moved along with 15 more 10k chunks to another wallet in a 160k move.
Then 175k is moved on December 31st in block 7549438
That 175k is then broken back into 10k chunks and are now receiving additional masternode payments as of the 1st of Jan.
Can someone with a bit more tech savvy look into this and let me know your thoughts? Hopefully I’m wrong.
Those 10k transactions may be just colloteral payments. I'm more curious what the hell is happening with this project! |

Or the devs abandoned the project... again? Be honest, everybody are short of patience and we've invested money AND time. |

Guys, do you know what does ''Coin of ST board doesn't support deposit'' means? I'm trying to deposit some coins in AEX. Also deposits are disabled in Finexbox...

Guys! For a month now every time I need to open the wallet (windows qt wallet) I need to resync in order to actually open. If I leave it open, it stays synced for a day or two and then just gets stuck on a random block. This means I need to resync it again. Honestly I'm kind of afraid to even send coins because it might stuck and brick the transaction or something... This issue is mentioned before but no one bothers to asnwer. Also there is no update here for a long time! It realy looks abandoned...

Ok, this explorer shows movement. I need to reindex my wallet and MN again. Anyways, does the exchanges look at these explorers or they rely on their own technology? Oh and another question - why does the wallet and the MN get stuck every three or so days? Rest assured Deluxo we are aware of the current issues since the Masternode upgrade and are working on the solution. Bear with us for a little while longer Deluxo, it's in all our best interests to sort this out rapidly and permanently. That’s great! You are working on a solution. It is a good idea to give us and update every several days on the situation. The forum makes the project to look like it's abandoned. |

Explorer and wallets are stuck again. Is that the reason for many people to sell with big volumes? It is getting frustrating actually.

The AEX wallet has also stalled and they are too oblivious to restart it.(I know this because they are denying deposits have arrived) With the main block explorer down it is very hard to convince them of the deposit. What is your windows client doing? Ok I see. For the client it seems that I should reindex it every time I need to close it e.g. restart or turn off my pc. Otherwise it jist closes it self while loading blocks. there is no entry in the log file. I need to send some coins to to a dude here. How to install linux wallet 0.10.7.4, with only quarkd file?
You need to give it rights and then run it as deamon. It will creat its files. Then just eddit the quarkcoin.conf and move the -cli (see page 48 and the next two). |

Comon guys! Be honest - is it worth it to wait AEX or just sell qrk there and buy on other exchange. I managed to start qrk client on my pc and on a server and just need my Collateral amount. Is there actually something happaning with AEX or we are waiting for nothing!?

the new wallet is not working...i synced and closed, ok. now i can't reopen...the wallet keeps charging blocks forever and freeze and i have to use bootstrap again, and everything start again...charging blocks, freeze, bootstrap, again and again and again...
Hi. Why don't you try without the bootstrap then? I've done the same thing and it took me less than a day to be fully synced. it seems a very big problem to me...what if i make a masternode it means i have to wait at least 18 - 24 hours to start it?? i think it will be a problem...what if i have to send coins to someone..."hey, don't worry, it takes only 24 hours to resync and send it to you..."  I mean if you resync without the bootstrap it should not crash. |
