1  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the government hijack Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2021, 04:49:23 AM
What do you mean by hijacking Bitcoin? And why would the government do it?
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: People in government is against bitcoin on: February 13, 2021, 06:09:46 AM
Otherwise, nowadays more authorities have started to realize that.
Miami mayor is going to allow pay taxes in Bitcoin.

One of NYC mayoral candidate is very Bitcoin friendly.

And don't forget about Malta that gets the reputation of Blockchain island.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Ethereum killer? on: February 13, 2021, 05:55:01 AM
EOS transaction volume capacity beats ETH. NEO, XTZ and ADA were all thought to be ETH killers. Which of them has really succeeded?
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: February 13, 2021, 05:41:46 AM
Everything that can serve as a medium of exchange and a measure of value is money. In these terms both cryptos and CBDCs are forms of real money.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Journey : Doubling my BTC investment on: February 13, 2021, 05:32:06 AM
Congratulations! Only passionate Bitcoin believers knew that Bitcoin at $10K was undervalued.

If economy is locked down you can print a lot money
Damn no!
The Fed uses extra money printing as a tool to rescue the economy amid the pandemic. Or where was "stimulus" money coming from?
Estimates are that 22% of the circulating US dollar was printed in 2020.

The fuctuaction will be directed by bitcoin so there is no need to be them even 1:1 pegged to fiat.
Stablecoins backed by fiat currencies should be fully backed or they can't legally represent the reserved assets. Bitcoin or any altcoins aren't correlated with stablecoins directly.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: January 13, 2021, 12:09:15 PM
2021 has recently started, so it's too early to make any predictions.I still hope this year will be much better than the last one. The guy was right about one thing

Only things what could be good are Bitcoin and cryptocurrency
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I just got hacked binance account - any help is welcome! on: January 13, 2021, 11:40:19 AM
First of all, you should try to contact Binance support. Secondly, let's find out why it happened. Have you ever left your contact open? Does anybody else have an access to your device?
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Need not just stimulus but usdt stimulus on: January 10, 2021, 07:57:09 AM
The Fed has no intention to make crypto more acceptable. Moreover, stimulus checks are launched to help the citizens survive, not to teach them invest in crypto wisely.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto doesn't want to be found; stop searching. on: January 10, 2021, 07:44:33 AM
I'll share my own conspiracy about Satoshi too. The way s/he spells the words may be used to purposely confuse us, but it may also mean that English isn't Satoshi's native language. Anyway, all attempts to find the real person behind the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto are just waste of time. Let's spend it wisely on learning more about Bitcoin instead of seeking its creator.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: January 09, 2021, 09:19:17 AM

ETH really is a shitcoin with no intrinsic value.
The same can be said about Bitcoin, most altcoins and even fiat money. ETH isn't the best altcoin ever, but some altcoins aimed to be "ETH killer" weren't performing well.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: The Man Who Called the 2008 Market Bubble Says This One Could Pop in Spring on: January 09, 2021, 09:12:13 AM

Lockdowns coupled with free money airdrops could represent the classic meme of the snake devouring its own tail. As an analogy for states attempting to tax and spend their way out of debt.

The governments don't think so. They consider these "money airdrops" as the only way to make people buy goods and recover the economy. They must be blind if they don't see that we invest or save the money instead.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be too happy on: January 09, 2021, 08:57:36 AM
When multimillionaire companies buy Bitcoin, ordinary people start to realize that Bitcoin is a worthy investment. Maybe it's the reason to be happy.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash says they are not a privacycoin on: January 08, 2021, 03:42:21 AM
So Dash core group claims that Dash is pseudonymous? I consider it as an attempt to avoid Dash delisting only.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin ever succeed as a currency on: January 08, 2021, 03:30:39 AM
A couple of years ago, when I bought my first Bitcoin, I used to believe that Bitcoin would become the world currency like the US dollar right now. But trying to be more realistic I understood that because of numerous disadvantages Bitcoin couldn't succeed as the currency. Well, it's great as a store of wealth (especially in long terms), but its volatility, high transaction fees and so on are here to stay.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $40k on: January 08, 2021, 03:06:40 AM
Bitcoin doesn't stop surprising us this year. And I finally realized that it's never to late to invest in. I hope it will reach $50K mark sooner or later.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: January 07, 2021, 12:32:34 PM
Even if you want it so much, you can't prevent the crisis. Just try to avoid the dramatic consequences for you and be less pushy while talking to your friends about Bitcoin.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING - Market Cap hits $1 Trillion on: January 07, 2021, 12:12:06 PM
It must be a milestone for the entire industry. And notable fact is that 70% of the crypto market cap belongs to Bitcoin.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: January 04, 2021, 07:20:31 AM
Some people invest in Bitcoin to become richer, while your investing strategy lets you kill two birds with one stone - to become healthy and to get a decent amount of coins in the future. I don't like to play a role of financial adviser, but I'll tell my smoker-friend about your idea.
Congratulations and good luck!
