1  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 2023 Diff thread now opened. on: August 21, 2023, 07:17:24 AM
Happy to provide a useful tool to fellow bitcoiners, and thanks for the merits.

Also, if you want to view the diff estimator in dark mode, you can signup to Newhedge. It's free. Add "Bitcointalk" in the company field on signup and I'll approve the free accounts right away.

Hey, Alon here, I upkeep the difficulty estimator. And yes, the site did change, but hopefully for the better. Newhedge now offers more mining related insights, and also allows users to set custom alerts for our metrics (including the difficulty estimator). Also, you can expect 0 downtime.

Hmm, they've changed the site name again?  Angry

Nice to here from you. Your website has been well used here.

I gave you some merits so if you post every once in a while you will make some rank.

Thanks again.

3 days left, 5% up, too little time to see any major players turning their gear off or turning them to make a dent anymore I guess.
Based on Viabtc numbers income si at $0.063 per th/s.

The last S19pro that was on sale will make you $6.3 a day burning 72kwh, you're above $0.087  you lose money, if you don't use additional cooling, you don't pay staff, you don't pay rent and you don't pay a lot of other things. Looking back at older gear , S17, you make $3.3, 48kwh, and you lose money at $0.068. If it goes below 25k and the hash rate doesn't drop at least a bit in the next adjustment after going up 5%!!!!! something fishy is happening.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Supply is meeting demand. The number of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide is up over 500% on: September 24, 2019, 02:07:17 PM
Hey, it's Bitrawr. I've been following the Bitcoin ATM landscape for a while now and recently drew attention to the latest figures.

The number of Bitcoin ATMs from September 2016 to September 2019 has increased by over 500%. As of now, there are currently 5,457 Bitcoin ATMs globally. I believe that this is indicative of the strong demand for anonymously transacting between fiat/bitcoin.
