1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: October 13, 2019, 05:59:53 PM
Bitcoin represents the beginning of a new era in which banks would become unnecessary. Banks can’t control BTC because it has no representative and is fully decentralized, so they cannot influence the price of Bitcoin. People see that crypto transactions are much better in almost every aspect that the transactions made from banks. The bank is an institute which main purpose is to take your money. While Bitcoin payments are independant. But we should ask ourselves what will happen if banks disappear? Could it be another financial crisis?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: October 11, 2019, 09:43:29 AM
Understanding the risk in crypto is easy, you either lose or win. It is lika any other investment. Payments with cryptocurrencies are something new and people see that it is more convinient than normal payments. That's why cryptocurrencies have gain that much popularity. I think that the Bitcoin and other altcoins are the future. I can see the potential they have but I would never risk all my fortune to invest in a crypto. Instead i would invest as much as I can afford to lose. I don't have control over the cryptocurrencies and this is the reason why cannot invets all my money but an investment in crypto is wise. We should ask ourselves "What will happen if in the future people pay only with crypto and flat currencies disappear?".
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware!! Bitcoin can be the future but a lot of work is to be done on: October 10, 2019, 06:56:53 PM
Of course Bitcoin is not perfect, it has to be developed but it is the beginnig of the cryptocurrencies and perfectly shows what is its potential. It represents the digital era. Bitcoin is an enormous, tim-consuming project, so I think that in the near future Bitcoin will be known as the "digital gold" and it will become a very important part of the payments in the future. Surely the work to be done is a lot but now people should understand the importance of Bitcoin.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: October 10, 2019, 06:47:21 PM
The gouverment sees the cryptocurrencies as a competitor, so think it won't permit the flat currency to adapt to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. But soon people will see how convenient is the payment with Bitcoin. The low fees, the security and the privacy are the key reasons why people would prefer the crypto transactions to the transactions between banks. The anonymity and the fact that blockchain transactions are irreversable are another reasons why gouverment wouldn't like to contribute to the cryptocurrencies. But I think that soon people will understand that the payments with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency is much more beneficial and the banks will extinct.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: October 10, 2019, 06:27:53 PM
The popularity of cryptocurrencies has grown so much for the last year. Now almost every human being has heard of Bitcoin. More and more shops have enabled paying with crypto. The crytocurrencies are more convenient than the flat currencies and the big plus you are avoiding bank institutions. The privacy of paying with cryptocurrencies can be as a pron so a con. The transactions are more secure but they are hard to track down. In my opinion, cryptocurencies are the future and soon the main method of payment will be by them.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: October 10, 2019, 05:35:30 PM
As you said, the irreversibility of the transactions is both a strength and a weakness, but in my opinion it is mostly positive. The fact that there is no "undo" button means that one must execute a transaction with caution, and when we are talking about for example BTC transaction, they are usually large. The need to be careful is something that we are losing currently in the financial world with everything so easily reversed (mostly flat-currency-transactions). Of course, if there is a fraud this would mean lost money, but in most cases it is the users fault for not making their background research. Do you think otherwise?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: October 10, 2019, 05:20:47 PM
Cryptocurrencies are already an alternative payment method in many places, and although BTC is not perfect for small, instant transactions, there are many altcoins that do the job just fine. I expect that most big brands and supermarkets will soon start to accept and even encourage the usage of Cryptocurrencies. Have I missed an angle here or do you guys agree?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 10, 2019, 05:12:07 PM
Investing in BTC is always a long term play, and the past 10 years have shown that if you hold your investment long enough you can make some big profits. It is, however, important to be patient and not panic sale at a price downfall, as many people do. The continuous growth in usage and acceptance of BTC in the real world is only going to set its price higher and higher in the future, so a small bear run shouldn't frighten you into getting rid of it "while you can".
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: October 09, 2019, 05:53:36 PM
Every human being knows the word bitcoin. It has been in the social media mentioned, so this is the main source of the popularity of bitcoin. When you scroll in your Facebook suddenly you see a suggested post about Bitcoin and some people will click on it.Nowdays understanding Bitcoin is considered to be extremly difficult. They think that you should have a degree in finance or computer science to get into Blockchain and Bitcoin. It is not very difficult and youtuber have made tutorials for this. People should understand that Bitcoin is the future and its advantages will increase its value. Posting articles about Bitcoin in the social media will be more useful than a movie. Am I right?
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 07, 2019, 06:26:40 PM
Firstly, one of the main reasons Bitcoin has risen in value so dramatically is its scarcity. There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoins. This tendancy will continue in the future for sure. Secondly, international payments can be time-consuming and surprisingly expensive.Bitcoin has fees too, but Bitcoin often offers lower fees than many foreign transfer institutions. Lastly, everyone loves gold, but is gold the best investment you can make today? We are living in a digital world. Bitcoin represents a new digital era. I think that in the future Bitcoin will be known as the digital gold and i think investing in bitcoin is one of the wisest choices I have ever made.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is successful? - this one statement sums it up! on: October 06, 2019, 04:10:28 PM
The first and foremost reason is the anonymity blockchain transaction offer. Also, BTC allows people to send money to any place in the world at very low costs. The transactions are completed faster than the normal transfer between banks. Seconly, the BTC transactions are extreemly secure. It is very difficult someone to steal your money when we talk about BTC wallets. Although, there are ups and downs bitcoin has a big potential. We see that BTC is going up but i think in the future BTC will become stable. What do you think will BTC become stable?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: October 06, 2019, 03:50:24 PM
Some economic analysts predict a big change in crypto is forthcoming as institutional money enters the market. Moreover, more and more companies are allowing payments with BTC, which would further add credibility to blockchain and its uses as an alternative to conventional currencies. Cryptocurrencies are opening a door to a new world. Bitcoin fundamentally different from a fiat currency, which is backed by the government. The value of a Bitcoin is wholly dependent on what investors are willing to pay for it at a point in time. This is what we are investing in-THE FUTURE.
