I thought I'd bump the thread with a few new pictures I have done in the last weeks.

Your charcoal drawing is absolutely marvelous, my compliment! I started to draw portraits too meanwhile, though I am only working with pencil. Drawing so lifelike with charcoal as you do is truely remarkable.
May I ask what you charge for such a portrait with charcoal and how you sell them?

I am still working on getting an english version of my website online, it is not as trivial as initially thought since the software in use doesn't natively support multi-language sites.

I am still in a very early stage, as of now I have just created three drawings on request, all others have been done for friends and family. I hope to have soon enough drawing to organize a little exposition from it as originals still always look better than any digital photo.

Personally I believe the price for a digital-only version are justified. After all the work and material needed is the same for a digital version, only shipping is not needed then and reduces the cost.

Normally I deliver without picture frame, since everybody has another idea about how it should look and it also depends on where you place the picture in your house. Though a simple, regular picture frame would cost ~$20 if you require the picture to be framed.

Your pet portraits are very exciting, never seen something like this before. Unfortunately my photoshop skills definitely wouldn't allow me to try this.

My own website isn't yet translated to english, but I am working on making an english version available and will post here once it is ready.

I have added prices for a digital-only version in the OP, I like your idea.

I have also added black/white pencil drawings at a lower price.

I am a professional typographer and I am drawing with color pencils since I have been a little child. In the last five years I have created color pencil drawings for some of my best friends beloved pets.

My speciality are pet portraits or animal portraits in general. But I am also constantly working on my skills on personal portraits (monochrome pencil drawings), if you are interested in a portrait drawing from a person I'll be happy to work something out with you, please PM me for details.

My drawings are all done with Polychromos Artist Pencils to get the best possible results. Drawing an animal realistically is one thing but I always also try to capture the character and nature of your pet in the drawing.

Since I really love to draw, I would like to try to make my living from it and am therefor offering my service to a wider audience. As a long time bitcoin enthusiast I would like to offer my drawings here, naturally I'd like to get paid in crypto at current market rate at the time of placing an order (preferrably BTC, LTC or DOGE).

Digital Version: I will keep the original drawing for a minimum of 3yrs. They can be requested at any time but you will have to pay the actual shipping cost. You will not have to pay upfront if you are a member with reasonable positive trust rating, I will mail you high quality pictures of my work (possibly also from state of work while in progress if desired) for you to check and judge if you are happy with the resulting drawing.

For new members or members with negative trust rating I have to insist on some deposit upfront to a well known escrow like Ognasty. Sorry, but I don't want to work for free completely.

A high quality photo is required to create a photo realistic drawing that you will like, please make sure to follow the below points when taking pictures of your beloved ones (be it man or mice  ):
- take photos on eye height
- photos should be neither underexposed or overexposed
- photos should show the hair direction in the pets fur very clearly
- shoot photos with highest possible resolution for good visibility of details
- never use a flash
- photos should be made from a close distance

Generally, the better the pictures, the better the resulting drawing  

I reserve the right to reject pictures with bad quality or request better ones, though this will be discussed before you place an order.

To get some feedback, demonstrate my skills and make my service known I'll offer a free drawing to the first Legendary member requesting one in exchange for a honest review here in my thread.
