1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pooled/Remote Mining on: December 14, 2010, 10:56:20 PM
Does anyone know how to obtain working stats directly from the server without having to start mining?

The code suggests so, but I don't know C[++].

I'd keep them on Bitcoin for the fun of it.

I'd rather disable PMs.

<kiba> RichardG: dude, nobody trust you.
<RichardG> I do know Wink
<midnightmagic> RG: You sound *exactly* like an ISK scammer in EVE:Online. That's the *exact* same scam they run there.

I wasn't going to scam anyone, but forget it.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Lottery concept on: December 14, 2010, 06:02:05 PM
Since yesterday, I was discussing in #bitcoin and #bitcoin-dev about a new lotto concept where:

Code:
money_given_to_winners = (money_raised_with_bets - 3%) / winners

I already saw similar concepts where there was an extra money coming from mixed sources (such as website monetization), but never anything like that.

If anyone is interested on a trial, send 2.50 to 17WesZnaQgpqvaGWg1X8wwaYKiYnaydxqY (extra amounts will be returned) and PM me your address and 5 numbers from 1 to 100. On this trial, if noone wins I'll return the money.
