I'd like to wage in on the exchange discussion. I think we should get our community together and get votes on MintPal. It is by far the best alt coin exchange I've used and getting on there shouldn't be so difficult considering VTC is a big coin with a lot of supporters. I dont want to advertise mintpal too much, but they have a very smooth and fast exchange. Cryptsy works fine for me, but it is very slow and has high fees. Especially the withdraw fee of 0.1 VTC is a lot for small users that we want to make enthusiastic about VertCoin. Vote here: https://www.mintpal.com/voting |

I've tried p2p pool for 32 hours and got only 0.5 VTC with an 280x hashing 375Kh/s. My guess is p2p mining is only suited for big rigs right, or have i just been really unlucky?

Hi guys,
I'm a bit puzzled by the p2p payout system. I seem to be getting a lot of VTC parts of the day, and then absolutely nothing for hours. In the end I earn the expected number of VTC, but I wonder why I don’t get a standard slice of the pie for each block... is this normal? I haven’t received anything the last 18(!) hours. I also wonder what happens when I stop my miner for a couple of hours for gaming. Will this decrease my income (more than the lost hours of course)? Temporarily stopping the miner might explain my payout variance?
Any explanation of the p2p payout system would be appreciated!!

I just started mining VertCoin using http://vtc.pool.mn/It looks great stat wise, no lag and no fee's. However, there are only a few miners so only a couple of blocks are found each day. I'd prefer to have a more regular payout! Anyone interested in joining this pool, or suggesting me another 0% lag-free VTC pool?  |

I only see an option to pay now, what happen to the screen where we can vote? you have to be a registered member AND have a trading history at mintpal to vote now. They saw all the bots on xxl and btcs so they pulled the open voting. They new rules are posted on the mintpal voting page side note, for zeit to be successful on mintpal, it needs a boost before it lands there. Coins that come on @ 1 satoshi never make it past 2 satoshis after 5 minutes. We will need something like usde did, slowly pumped for 4 days prior to launch. The issue with zeit are the massive buy walls in place at coinex, and i do not believe whales are responsible for those. Cryptsy is insanely important to the survival of this coin. Look at flap for instance, that was a bare bottom 1/2 satoshi coin, once put on cryptsy, we saw a good rise and average of 5 satoshis for almost an entire day. Cryptsy provides a much larger bank roll and whales prefer to use that site because of this reason. i sorta think that too, if the coin gets rushed onto Mintpal @1 it may never go past that, i've seen several coins start like that on Mintpal. we should discuss this and what we can do to avoid this. thoughts? ideas? maybe slow the voting down a bit? I think we really need a decent exchange, so waiting is not an option then. Ideally we get on mintpal during a rise, maybe after some good news or initiatives. Anyway, I think there is significant buy interest for ZEIT. Noone is buying or selling at all, except for automated mining sells and some whale price movements to 1-2 satoshi. Everything will be fine in my opnion, if anything this is a good time to buy. Price will reach 5 satoshi orso in 1-3 weeks. |

I'm also quite content with cryptorush.... over 4 million free ZEITs ;-) I do believe we need some action soon. I hold many ZEITs and I believe in the coin, but there is hardly any interest anymore at the moment after a thrilling first week. We need a good exchange and coinwarz/coinmarketcap, whats the status there devs? We also need some PR, something to make us special. I would love a decentralized exchange build into the wallet  And honestly, we need to pay MintPal to get on there asap, noone is buying at coinex. Vote: https://www.mintpal.com/voting |

We need an update regarding the block explorer, coinmarketcap and coinwarz from the devs. Also, we need to raise 1.5-2 BTC together to reach #1 on the MintPal voting for a decent exchange. Otherwise the coin will die imo... |

Feeling generous guys? Pay for votes so we can get listed on MINTPAL!!  +1 Devs, maybe use some of the pre-mine for this? What is the status on Coinwarz and Coinmarketcap? This will also boost awareness. |

I think we should all vote on mintpal: https://www.mintpal.com/votingIf we all use some BTC to vote on MintPal we will be on there in a few days! This will eliminate all exchange problems and give a big boost to ZeitCoins popularity. Please consider spending BTC for this voting instead of Cryptsy... it is cheaper and Mintpal is faster/better then Cryptsy anyway! |
