1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you use cryptocurrency in your everyday life ? on: August 23, 2024, 08:45:03 PM
Well I am very lucky to have people who are very interested in crypto-currency  just as I am or even more so if I am not using crypto-currency a day I am definitely talking about the crypto market or any other news that has to do with crypto-currency.

It's super easy now expressing my love for crypto because there is a whole lot of improvement from back in the days to now. More people are adopting crypto-currency.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: August 23, 2024, 08:28:42 PM
Now Barcelona has lost Felix, gundogan, and some other tip talent, I would love to see how they would do moving forward. I think that the Barcelona team needs More from the board running the show. They are making it hard for even the best coaches to revive Barcelona, I see a club with great potentials but still this season could still be same as the last season if they continue is this manner.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: USA dollar and BTC Are similar this is how on: August 23, 2024, 07:55:45 PM
So is Messi same thing as Bitcoin? Because there has been many people lots of people has said would be the next Messi in football but still non has been able to match the work that Messi has done in football, so since Messi is the king of football does it mean he can be compared to Bitcoin.

Fiat and crypto are two different thing, Bitcoin supports anonymity the dollar doesn't, crypto is not controlled by the US government but the dollar is. You can't store crypto in the commercial banks but you can store the dollar, there are lots of differences.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is not human, someone have to use it right. on: August 23, 2024, 07:33:35 PM
I believe many people already know this, I don't mean to be critical but I believe this should not be a topic, it's crazy that anyone thinks bitcoin would save them from all their countries issue that's not the case and even if a country isn't corrupt Bitcoin still can't play a major role to lift a country economy, the leaders still has a very big part to play to see that happening.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What political POLICY is good for Bitcoin? on: August 22, 2024, 09:33:09 PM
The best political policy that would suit Bitcoin and crypto-currency in general is freedom, and the government knows this. Bitcoin is not dependent on any nations economical status or strength. Bitcoin is the strong foundation of a financial system that thrives on anonymity. The government doesn't need to do anything but just stop being against crypto-currency. I think everyone should have the opinion be a Crypto-currency enthusiast without harassment from the government.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luck: a dominant factor in gambling then skill. on: August 22, 2024, 08:51:31 PM
Luck is 70 or 80 percent while skill is the rest, you need to have a great deal of luck to be successful in gambling. This days all I do is learn the rules and how to play if it's a game I haven't played before and after that the rest is luck. Also In sport betting you may follow the odds, do all the analysis but it still boils down to having a great deal of luck in other to be successful at it .
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Updates and Security patches on: August 22, 2024, 08:09:25 PM
Great one mate, yes I strongly believe we should update our application especially those that has to do with our finances, there are some updates which are meant to tackle the mistakes in the previous version and it's imperative to update as soon as possible.

But before updating your application ensure you have ensure what ever you updating is safe, always check others review on the application before hand.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have I done wrong by lifting him outside the betting shop? on: August 21, 2024, 08:11:08 PM
If you forced him out of the place probably because you are bigger than him or he has so much respect for you and you used that against him then I think you did something wrong because everyone deserves a chance to do what ever they choose to, you can only play your part and advice him but definitely you should not force him to do that which you want.

I believe in advising people and letting them make their own decisions, this way they face what ever the outcome maybe and take responsibility.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin save us on: August 21, 2024, 07:10:57 PM
Let's be reminded Bitcoin owes us no favour to change the economical negative situation of the world that is for your government and the decision they take to improve the Economical situation of the country, the best tool is to vote wisely when ever the time comes. Even if a nation fully accepts Bitcoin, if there are more financial decisions made in that country Bitcoin can't save them.

We should not expect Bitcoin to solve all our problems but we can be assured of freedom with the autonomous system of crypto-currency.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are app stores strict on cryptocurrency app submission? on: August 20, 2024, 08:26:24 PM
Well it's not just crypto-currency apps that face this scrutiny from app store, many financial based apps also goes through this same issue, although I am not surprised that this is the case because they are only trying to ensure the safety of users.
In between those requirements aren't something out if the ordinary and still many crypto-currency apps passes this and have their apps accepted, so it's not a big deal.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will hodlers still enjoy profit in the future? on: August 19, 2024, 07:35:14 PM
What you failed to understand is that Bitcoin is not only for investors, and there are some holders of Bitcoin who are more interested in Bitcoin getting acceptability that it now becomes a more popular medium of exchange. This would be the main interest of Bitcoin enthusiast because then we would enjoy the benefits Bitcoin has over the traditional financial system.

Well I think Bitcoin would always be profitable because it's limited in supply to meaning more Bitcoin can not be created, this would be the reason while Bitcoin would always be profitable.
12  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin Meetups in Nigeria on: August 16, 2024, 07:40:28 PM

13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My observations so far. on: August 16, 2024, 07:35:16 PM
You are having the merit desperation syndrome which you can actually control if you really want. You don't at this point start teaching others about the forum. You haven't even understood it properly yourself. This post is so basic and some of its contents are things people who are outside this forum should know.
Now go back to your drawing board and come up with something more helpful, you definitely have the energy to do so, all you have to do is have that courage.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2024/2025 on: August 16, 2024, 06:30:34 PM
The premier league starts today again another season for the top teams to battle for the crown of the English premier league champion and the bottom teams to battle for who gets relegated, it would always be exciting but recently Manchester city has found a way to turn the robust league into a farmer's league.

Manchester United kick starts the league and even though I don't believe in their abilities I think they have all it takes to come out with the victory tonight
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He wants to Invest in Bitcoin for His Retirement. on: August 16, 2024, 05:31:00 PM
Firstly what do they know you as in terms of Bitcoin investment. Are you the type that is always optimistic about Bitcoin and always very bullish. I suggest you tell people the pros and cons, the good and bad, the ups and downs on Bitcoin and crypto-currency in general.

It's good you are seen as an advocate for Bitcoin but please is best you tell the Rev everything, all the possible outcome, the usecase and functionality so he can be the one to decide if he wants to invest or not
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tapswap scam or scam? on: August 15, 2024, 08:59:51 PM
It's crazy that even well experienced crypto-currency enthusiasts actually fell for this scam and if experienced members fell imagine how many inexperienced members would have fell. There are people who joined or had something to do with crypto-currency because of this sort of things.

The awareness Notcoin created has a part to play in the publicity of all this. Notcoin appeared to be a successful tap and get coin scheme that some had missed out on, so the coming of tapswap was another opportunity they did not want to sleep. It's wise not to fall for hype, FOMO .
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the changing value of BTC affect your decision to gamble in crypto casinos? on: August 15, 2024, 07:39:35 PM
When you say double your profit when Bitcoin rise again I think you are exaggerating because before you can double your winnings the price of Bitcoin has to first double from its present price meaning let's say the price of Bitcoin is $55k it would need to go to $110k before you can double.

So don't think much of the price just hope you play a good game and win
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unimaginable case yesterday at local bet shop. on: August 14, 2024, 07:32:43 PM
It's irresponsible of the bet shop to accept the use of the bike in the first place and now demanding the owner pays before getting the bike. Most local bet shops always try to keep it at using money to stake. And it's best the staker gives you money before you stake any game.
This case is heart breaking but it does happen. It is even worse in bigger gaming house as some people can stake lands, expensive watch and so on.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first journey in this forum on: August 14, 2024, 07:18:29 PM
I was lost upon registration, not until I found Beginners and help, so I feel this is the rightful place to get the necessary informations I need to know about this community, i was told this is the biggest and best community where I could broaden my knowledge about Bitcoin.

Yes this is among the best place for a beginner to start that's no doubt but you can be a beginner here on the forum but you aren't a beginner in crypto-currency, if the later is the case then you can get information for else where but also you can get information about the forum here or best on META section.
.in between congratulations, pls so some research before asking any questions many newbies are found of that mistake.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: August 13, 2024, 07:35:52 PM
Barcelona under the new coach would create a new generation Barcelona. Although they list their last match I still believe Barcelona are in the best form in recent years. The signing made this season are very thoughtful and would definitely set the up for a good season. Although I would have loved to see Nico Williams join in but regardless I am excited about the other signings made.

Real Madrid are already very complete and would be the only threat stopping Barcelona this season in the Spanish laliga
