The problem is not that you have sold it or not, the problem is that by trying to sell it before there is no way or way to prove that your account was hacked. Well I've recently taken more interest in btc. Idc if I get the account back but I think its important that people know that account was stolen from me.

My account was hacked a few years ago, and I've recently come back from a break. When i tried to log into it the PW had been reset. I tried to reset via email but that had been reset as well. So I made a new account thinking maybe the account had been deleted but when I looked the account up today I found out it is still active and being used. Anyone have any advice on what to do? I can provide some proof that the account is mine. I had a minor freak out and decided I was done with this forum and I left. Recently as I said I came back and found it had been hacked shortly after.
