1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: blockcoins.io - plagiarism and likely a phishing website/wallet! on: November 29, 2019, 02:54:32 AM
Retarded? send any proof about scam. how this site can scammed you? you will deposit any amount and instantly withdraw these funds back to your wallet, so why then it's scam? how they will scammed you? they have no any scam offers for free money or something with that. And not any negative with evidence about the scam ^^. Why are you saying this is scam? If there is plagiarism in the description, does that mean scam? withdrawal works without any problems
The reasons listed obove are are strong red flags that people shouldn't send money to a website where no reviews are known, the text are copy-pasted without effort from other sites (=> cheap scamsite) and even passing other people's achievements as their own? That's utterly untrustworthy.

If this site had scammed me, I would have created a scammer flag type 3. Did I? Nope. Newbie flag is appropriate to warn others (less expericed users).  Wink

If you disagree, oppose the flag and we'll see how many DT members will share your point of view. ^^

Sure, I'm always sending money to suspected fraud sites for testing and to confirm that it's a scam.   Roll Eyes

The plagiarism of describing how Bitcoin works is not proof. Yes? Seriously? Then why did you allow yourself to say that this is a scam? If you haven’t even checked it. These are purely your assumptions, which are not evidence. You can send any amount to this site, any minimum, and you will see that instant withdrawal works on the site. The site does not offer any free money or profitable offers for making a deposit, none of this is available. Then what is the essence of fraud if a withdrawal works on the site and there are no pretexts because of which a person should make deposits?

Good catch, I guess it's a very cheap scamsite, where people have to desposit money and are scammed when they try to withdraw. I didn't found any reviews, wether positive or negative so the site seems to be very new.

In addition, they are using achievements of armory to advertise their own scamsite (don't know if it's intentional or just lazy copypasta):

man it's not scam and not phishing send any proof about phishing... this site works 2 years and have no bad feedbacks, you can deposit for test 1 $ or some other amount and you will that they will let you withdraw instantly, please delete your thread
And no positive feedbacks, it's a bit strange for a website running successfully for 2 years, don't you think?... ^^

This site is scam because it has a copied description of how bitcoin works? if they have scammed you, please send a proof. I can say that your mother is fucked by hundreds of blacks guys every day, this is my assumption, but this may not be relevant to reality. I can say the same about your message. not a single fact about scam

Wait, all that you wrote now is just speculation. This is not an ICO, the design of this site is not plagiarized, only if the description. It is forbidden? - not.
I didn't say you were running an ICO, just that the community here has seen so many instances of plagiarism within the ICO space that they've come to associate plagiarized descriptions with scamming.  I also didn't say you'd stolen the design of the site, and I'm only going by what morvillz7z showed in the other thread.

As far as plagiarism and whether it's forbidden or not, that depends on your local laws.  But none of the legal stuff matters, because it's not acceptable practice around here, and that's why you got called out on it.  People generally agree that it's not right for someone to use someone else's words without their permission.  Does that not make sense to you?

Copying words does not violate the laws of any country, it is not prohibited in any country.

Do you understand that now because of him other people will see this topic in Google? The opinion of people can be negatively changed based on his lies. Who gave him the right to do this? I repeat, any of you can check that this site is not phishing and is not fscam. He did not provide any evidence or fact. Based only on a description that looks like copied from other sites, you cannot accuse the site of fraud or phishing, his thread is not related to this section

plagiarism of words, is it forbidden? Is this a scam? not?
It might not necessarily be proof of a scam, but plagiarism is extremely frowned upon here and it's seen again and again with ICO scammers plagiarizing whitepapers in addition to all the other examples on the forum.  Basically, if you're stealing someone else's words--and the work that was put into forming those words into useful information--why shouldn't people think you're just a thief in general?  You're using someone else's work in order to promote your website, and that's not cool.

Whether your site is a scam or not, the plagiarism was why morvillz7z brought it to the community's attention and he's not a scammer.  You can try to defend your point of view here, but there's no reason to open a scam accusation thread against him.

Wait, all that you wrote now is just speculation. This is not an ICO, the design of this site is not plagiarized, only if the description. It is forbidden? - not. Is it possible or because of this to say that this site is scam? - of course not. He also said that this site is phishing, but that’s not true. Any of you can check this site through an online antivirus. Why I can't create a topic against him in this section, and he can, without any evidence? At least I have facts that he is wrong, and he does not have a single fact about scam or phishing. Many sites copy the description, this does not mean anything. Let's communicate purely on the basis of facts. In this section, people report scam resources or individual persons. But he has no evidence of this, his topic is offtop and has nothing to do with reality.

This is not my site, I just know that this site is legitimate and any of you can check this.

Amount Scammed: -
Payment Method:-
Proof of Payment: -
PM/Chat Logs:-
Additional Notes: He leave a negative review about the normal site. He wrote that this site is phishing, but it’s a lie and anyone can check it through any online antivirus, phishing sites always use prohibited code. For example virus total: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/0e23f8b369cb6fee7b54006075c1d2d3175c4b61313b14d8ec9fd2a85c0d082a/detection
Why does this person leave such reviews without even checking anything? plagiarism of words, is it forbidden? Is this a scam? not? So why then he created a thread in the scam section, this site is not related to scam. The design of this site is not plagiarism, a description is possible, but this is not fraud. Any of you can check this site, you can make a deposit for any amount and, after confirming, withdraw this amount instantly without any problems. this site has been working for 2 years without a single bad review
