1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚡ CUTcoin ⚡ First CryptoNote PoS coin with Tokens on: August 19, 2020, 10:15:53 AM
Here's a simple Introduction to CUtcoin Privacy focused POS Project with Privacy Tokens & Stablecoin, and what to expect in the future regarding this project https://medium.com/@stevewmartin21/cutcoin-a-high-quality-innovative-privacy-proof-of-stake-project-1088c4b0677b

I'd urge everyone curious about this project to read the latest CNT-1 WP also, as it sets out the logic for the next stage of development and growth.

At first glimpse the article created an impression that every possible feature from every possible coin is mingled in an ebullient concoction called cutcoin but now I see there is no smart contract functionality, its only DEX built on monero blockchain, give or take. And its coming from russian workshop, I take it. From that retch-blotted scullery where they scarf a galore of alcoholic spirit.

It is unfortunate that people like you just judge the project based on its name, Dev's country of origin, or because of its forked from some other project, without even knowing what team has worked or working on.
Let me correct a few of your perceptions about the CUTCOIN project.
1. Most of the projects excepting Bitcoin have stared either by forking or following some other crypto projects, and your Monero is not an exemption (After all it is forked from Bytecoin).
2. The country (Russia) of people behind the Cutcoin project, It doesn't matter as long as the team working behind any project is delivering what it has promised and the Cutcoin team has stayed to all development it
has promised. Let me clear you, for the sure the team is not only from Russia.
3. Tell me a few things,
Does Monero has a Proof-of-stake protocol implemented?
Does Monero has a Token system which can be deployed on its chain?
Does Monero have the same block generation mechanism as CUtcoin?
If you get Yes answer for any of those questions, then the only judge and compare Cutcoin with Monero. Infect feel free to tell any of Monero dev to review or check the Cutcoin code.
4. Again for your information, the Monero team and community should be glad for Cutcoin team honesty.
If the Cutcoin team was here only for monetary gain, they would have exploited Monero exchange bug and put your Monero project in deep shit now.
By exploiting that bug Cutcoin team could have been left with Millions $$ in their pocket, and I am sure you couldn't do anything.
Read this if you understand. https://hackerone.com/reports/501585
5. About the Cutcoin road map, It is the first Cryptonote based Pure Proof of stake project. And you can't deny it.
Cutcoin team has developed a Token deployment system that can deploy TOKEN by just one single command. You can't deny it.
Your constructive idea or comment will be most welcomed than just thin air criticism.

So before you judge the Cutcoin project just by its team country, I recommend you to read projects white paper and token whitepaper, Feel free to test Cutcoin token, it's free testing, won't cost you anything.

Is there someone from the Monero team or someone with the strong coding knowledge who would like to review the code of the new Cryptonote based POS coin?

Cutcoin is kind of different as it was forked from Monero and later switched to pure POS (Proof-Of-Stake: https://static.cutcoin.org/cutcoin-whitepaper-v1.0.pdf). There is no minimum requirement for the staking amount (https://cutcoin.org/stakingguide). The Cutcoin team has also developed a privacy token (https://static.cutcoin.org/cnt1-whitepaper-v1.0.pdf) feature in the CUTcoin ecosystem. The tokens deployed on the Cutcoin chain inherit all privacy features as Cutcoin or another Cryptonote coins. Anyone can deploy his/her own token by a single command. The "CUTCOIN" is the first Cryptonote based project which has successfully implemented pure Proof-Of-Stake consensus.
In the Cutcoin consensus Wallet balances, transaction amount, sender, and receiver are private by default. Its innovative Proof of Stake consensus is the first to keep the total amount of coins even in staking wallets completely concealed. There is no minimum amount for staking, any amount above 0 CUT can be staked. The project has its own Staking pool for smallholders and it pays out every day.

The team behind the project has not stopped there, CUT COIN has successfully implemented privacy tokens on the Cutcoin network (Under testing by community). This makes Cutcoin the first project on which has Privacy token functionality. The tokens deployed on the Cutcoin chain inherit all privacy properties as CUT COIN, MOnero, or any other cryptonote project, including RingCT.

Read project whitepaper for all technical details about POS and Token development.

Cutcoin team is the one who has found very critical bug in Monero code which was also recognized by some of the prominent crypto media.

There was so much excitement for this project but I guess this project was lost and not materialized fully.
But I want to point you all guys, there is Cryptonote based pure POS project now.
I am not writing this post to spam or marketing of the project but please do read the project whitepaper for all technical details.

Here is the short description of the project.
The "CUTCOIN" is the Cryptonote based project which as successfully implemented pure Proof-Of-Stake consensus.
In the Cutcoin consensus Wallet balances, transaction amount, sender, and receiver are private by default. Its innovative Proof of Stake consensus is the first to keep the total amount of coins even in staking wallets completely concealed. It took 5 years to Cryptonote community to find the answer of the question raised in this original post.

But finally, the answer is here "CUTCOIN".
The CUTCOIN is the first Cryptonote based project which as successfully implemented pure Proof-Of-Stake consensus.
In the Cutcoin consensus Wallet balances, transaction amount, sender, and receiver are private by default. Its innovative Proof of Stake consensus is the first to keep the total amount of coins even in staking wallets completely concealed.
