They knew when bills were due and leveraged their holdings at this moment in time for exactly the reason you mention below, to create the illusion the team is selling their coins. Was a very good plan as the facts you present do show someone selling, but there is no way to tell who. Once the swap numbers are back the team will be making public all dev fund information to clear this up.
