1BTC all unfrozen, 40LTC all frozen

I had ~1BTC and ~40LTC on there. I got the BTC back and ~200USD. The USD was 100% available to trade, the BTC was completely unfrozen but I lost all the LTC.

They're not cancelling orders automatically you have to specifically request it in chat. (sounds ridiculous but that's what's happening).
I've already received my BTC and LTC. I guess I'm not going to try to get my $10 out. Hopefully it will still be there if they reopen.

The good news is that since the US are going after Mt Gox legally we can assume they'll do the same to Crypto-Trade if this continues so hopefully that would compel the owners to act lawfully and return our money before they get extradited or whatever.

Do zipzap locations already exist in the UK? I've never heard of them. zipzap's website seems to be completely devoid of details. Are these 28000 locations going to spring out of nowhere on December 31st?

Is this against your balance or available balance?

Minimum bet is too high. Right now it's $4.20, God knows what it will be tomorrow.

I'm sad to see it go but I totally understand the reasons and it sounds like it's the right decision.

I'm disappointed to hear that you are dropping any-2-any trading. All my favourite trades were crazy currency pairs where the market was a mile wide.

They got back to me. The discount is that fees are 0.25% if you trade over 500BTC in a month. A refund is sent at the end of the calendar month.

What does it take to get the volume discount on CampBX? They state it exists in the FAQ but decline to say what the levels are.

Is there any possibility of making it easier to get a list of trades? Really I'd like to be able to fetch a list of completed trades through the API but even something a little more flexible through the website would be a step in the right direction (i.e. filter by currency at least). Right now if you want to use the API it looks like you have to also have a record of all the orderid's and request them one by one which is pretty brutal and in any case I don't have those ids anywhere.

Has anyone else gotten read_order working with the new API? I have delete_order working successfully with the new otype parameter, but read_order keeps returning 'Authentication failed'.
EDIT: read_order doesn't have otype hashed in the token that's passed, but delete_order does. This seems inconsistent for no real reason...
Delete order works OK for me and I'm not hashing in otype. Unfortunately I only use read_order s which is fine not sure about read_order

If you want something trivial like buying in game currency with bitcoins then that can easily be done and would be quite boring lots of games already allow this in fiat like Eve. I imagine it would have no effect on the bitcoin economy. If you want something more exciting like using actual bitcoins for the in game currency (even if off the blockchain) and allowing withdrawals then you will quickly run into the usual problem with video game economies which is that they depend on constantly printing more and more money and inflating the cost of everything. This in itself is no big deal but if the in game currency is the same as a real world currency then the game makers need to keep putting real money into the game. i.e. by giving it to NPCs for when they are killed or as treasure that can be discovered - this is expensive and unlikely to happen.
There are games that have attempted this sort of thing (SecondLife, Entropia) but they are few and far between and it requires a completely new way of making a game fun that doesn't just involve throwing currency at the players so they can buy better and better stuff.

That couple that plan on living on bitcoin for 90 days live in Utah. Maybe there's been a lot of local press about their stunt.

Does anyone know how to get the minimum transaction sizes? Looks like it's around 0.018 for NMC/BTC which makes me think it's something different for every single currency pair.

Things are back to normal. I'll have to look into the API issue and also excuse our slow response to tickets in the past 24 hours as we have been busy dealing with the service interruptions.
Looks like the solution from my end was to add this uc.addRequestProperty("User-Agent", "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)"); i.e. pretend I was coming in from a proper browser and not just a java app.

Looks like the website itself is up but the api is giving me 403s.

No, the argument is that output dust is blocked to prevent the recipient from being charged with tx fees when they are next used. My point is you can freely use dust so there's no need to protect anyone. Now, if you want to say that we are protecting the blockchain from bloat then that's a legitimate argument. But don't lie and claim that people can't freely spend dust if they want to.
