So I have spent countless hours narrowing down my only possible solutions. Maybe one of you can help me see my money again.

1. There is a bip39 mnemonic converter that takes your 24 word seed and shows you all the public and private keys. There are so many deviation possibilities though. Does anone have any insight that can help me narrow this search? My address with my btc on it started with 3 so I am pretty sure that means I am looking at the bip49 addresses.

Also my wallet had a pin but not a passphrase. I'm not sure if a pin can act as a passphrase when trying to recover/import using a wallet seed.

2. The way I would like to do this is to find the files that mycelium stored all of its data on. I have rooted my Samsung phone giving it root access and also have connected it to my PC. I still can't see any root files. I downloaded terminal emulator for my phone but Idk the proper command prompts to find the right files. Ifor you have any knowledge on terminal input for samsung galaxies please help.

Otherwise I am looking into downloading sdk software on my computer that can help me find and copy the files mycelium has stored.

3. None of this would be possible if my app stopped syncing as I could click on accounts and get my master private key but it is stuck in permanent sync and it allows me to do nothing.

My questions I guess would be

1. I have always backed up so if i uninstall and reinstall will I be fine or will that overwrite my data and screw me?

2. Is there a way to sort through the BIP39 deriviation paths? m/49/0/0

The bitcoin address I sent to started with 3 so I am pretty certain it is a p2h-Segwit address.

1. What backup? If it's the seed phrase, you're going to be fine as long every word is correct. If it's Google/cloud backup, the wallet files aren't covered by it.

2. You can select the "account": from m/49'/0'/0'/0 ; use m/49'/0'/1'/0 for the next account, m/49'/0'/2'/0 for the third and so forth.

You can import the seed to electrum (electrum.org) by clicking "option->BIP39" on the enter seed window
and from there, specify the correct derivation path below the address type selection.

You shouldn't mess up with the path though as your main issue is "synchronization" and it has nothing to do with the derivation path.
-Edit-
It's better not to uninstall the wallet in case if there are recoverable data from it.
Have you tried installing the old version apk (if you have a backup) to your other phone and restore the seed there?

I have used my seed to import my mycelium wallet to electrum and it did not work. It did but it's imported all new addresses with 0 bitcoin. Like I said 2 days ago I had hundreds of private keys, not sure how many accounts, and close to a thousand transactions. My phone got stuck in sync so my first thought was to update which gave me all new addresses getting rid of the address I sent a lot of money too. Which successfully made it. That's why I am so confused why importing my wallet using my seed didn't bring my old addresses.

I downloaded mycelium on another phone and tried importing to mycelium neither has worked. My 24 word seed brings up new addresses I have never seen. I tried your input on electric, thanks for trying but no go. I tried it on both sewits and legacy just to be safe. My days of research have lead me to try and sort through thousands of bip deviations from the bip39 mnenomic code converter. Not sure if I should just go through hundreds changing the export/import or also change the account. I had hundreds of addresses but I think only a few accounts?

This still does not answer why my app refuses to sync. No point to delete it because I have imported my key into coinomi and electrum and both give the same addresses which are different then my frozen mycelium app. They are new HD address the accounts tab says I have 1 account and 3 private tabs but I know before it froze in permanent sync there were 3 to 500 addresses.

Any other suggestions. This is a decent amount of coin I will compensate anything that helps me.

Okay so I have been using Mycelium for over 2 years. I haven't updated this entire time until a couple days ago. Before the update I had like 300 addresses I think my app was changing them every week. Right now my app is stuck in a permanent sync. It's shows 0 bit coin and 3 HD addresses. I have restarted the app/phone connected to WiFi and even through tor and it is still syncing.

I just sent a lot of bitcoin to my address right before I updated. The blockchain shows them in the address. They are not lost but my app is in perma sync. If I uninstall it I will overwrite my data I am 99 percent sure I have my 12 word seed (24 in my case) and can import my wallet to another app but because of all the addresses I would have to try to input 100 of derivations.

If you followed all that and can help me with any insight I am willing to compensate any advice that leads me to my bit coin stuck in limbo.
