1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: Today at 04:04:07 AM
Chelsea will face Manchester United in a continuation of the Premier League in Week 5. In my opinion, this big match will again drain Chelsea energy, as they've just returned from the Champions League. Although Manchester United performance has been inconsistent, I think the match will still be tough for both teams. On paper, Chelsea seems to be slightly more favored, but I'm inclined to think the game will end in a draw.

Chelsea has not lost any game so far in this season, they won 2 games while 2 ended in a draw. While Manchester United has won just one game, played one draw and lost 2 games. Chelsea no doubt is favorite for it's upcoming encounter with United but in EPL every team has the capability to win matches regardless of its position on the points table. United must start winning matches if they want to improve there ranking on points table, already there position is down due to early loses in new season.

Will there be anyone on earth that can read this whole thread..starting from the first page….lol, it is almost 34926 pages with each page containing not less than 20 post…calculating this that is almost …698,520 posts, if he could read 100 posts per day it will take him 6985 days or 19 years  to complete and by then the thread might have reach 200,000 pages or even more  Grin

You can ignore ChartBuddy, who post every hour. Post count might come down to 100,000 without ChartBuddy  Smiley

Better still, even after ignoring ChartBuddy, reading through 100,000 posts will take almost 1000 days or 3 years to complete with reading an average of 100 post per day… Wink
…I’m very certain if someone reads the whole of that, he will have to go and see an Ophthalmologist because he will spend a lot of time on screen reading daily and continuously for three years……..and for someone to achieve the milestone of reading through this thread entirely from the start, it shows that he must be a very resilient and consistent person..lol

You may utilise ChatGPT to get summery of every page. You may finish very soon with this approach  Cheesy

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What distance of time is long term investment plans? on: September 18, 2025, 04:02:20 AM
I would also say here the same thing like the others that's mean at least there should be around of 4 years as well it also dependson the time when you are going to investment.

And from this point of view, if there is an opportunity to invest in the middle of Bitcoin's turning point, I mean bear season or bull season, then it is possible to profit from there. In this case, you have to hold the stock for at least two years. Moreover, it is possible to profit in one year, let alone in one month. You only need to have good analysis skills.
However, it is best to plan your DCA to invest every four years, centered around the Bitcoin halving period, or to invest for as long as you like in the long term.

If you are thinking of how to get profit from Bitcoin then go for long term investment like you say four years or more. Why I am saying that is because this theory is backed by Bitcoin price data. Just look at Bitcoin price chart for last 15 years and it will be clear to everyone that why it's important to Hodl for atleast four years. If one think that Bitcoin will make him rich overnight then he will end up only losing money with Bitcoin. DCA is good way to gather Bitcoin because it reduces the risk and increases profit but in the long run.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin hard for people to understand? on: September 18, 2025, 03:53:31 AM
Just think about how popular and accepted Bitcoin was when it was discovered in mid-2009. Currently, the popularity and acceptance of Bitcoin is increasing day by day and many countries and big companies are giving priority to Bitcoin in their strategic reserves. In fact, all of this is just a matter of time. Nothing can suddenly create a revolution in the world, we have to wait for it. It is estimated that after the next 10 years, there will be a radical change in the payment system of the world, where banks will open Bitcoin deposits in addition to fiat transactions. We must wait for all these changes. It is not possible for Bitcoin to suddenly spread all over the world because people have not yet been able to penetrate the complex formula of Bitcoin and they have not been able to be careful enough about Bitcoin.

Advancement in technologies are never welcomed in the start. People made fun of computers in the start and some even said that there is no requirement of computers for personal use. Bitcoin is not an exception and it too faces opposition in the start which gradually lessen with time but is still there.

Banks and Bitcoins are not made for each other as both have there own way of operating. It looks difficult that banks will accept decentralized Bitcoin very soon because there is no need for banks or another middlemen in case of payment through Bitcoin.

They somehow managed to get full points from the match versus the United Arab Emirates. At one point, Pakistan was struggling at 93/6. But then the big hits from Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Haris took them to a respectable total of 146/9. Once they crossed 140, it was beyond the reach of the UAE batsmen, especially against experienced bowlers such as Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi. Rahul Chopra and Dhruv Parashar tried their best, but the lower and middle order collapsed like a peck of cards.

It's only because of Shaheen Shah hitting towards the end that took Pakistan score to 146. Saim Ayub got his third straight duck of this tournament. This match clearly shows how weak Pakistan batting is, if they can't play UAE bowlers then how can they face Indian and Sri Lankan bowlers in next round. Pakistan should have given a target of 180 runs in yesterday match but they struggled to score runs against UAE. This tournament has made Shaheen Shah a real all-rounder though he was previously known as genuine fast bowler.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we be concerned big firms and countries are hodling more bitcoin? on: September 16, 2025, 06:15:45 PM
Its concerning for the fact that they are holding large chunk of Bitcoin since they can manipulate the sentiments of people towards all the actions they have done.

Also what's really alarming if they immediately ditch Bitcoin since provably that it can affect the market also the sentiments of people might change and think about Bitcoin is easy to manipulate by this institution.

I'd rather became more happy if more population in the world would accumulate Bitcoin rather than seeing those institution frequently buying Bitcoin and add it up on their reserves. But this is how the flow now and I guess what we need to do is to follow the latest news about them so that we can do good action if this institution will pull some crazy actions.

We have already seen that decision by Tesla few years ago, of not accepting payments in Bitcoin resulted in drop in price of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin has gone up mainly after launch of Bitcoin ETF and now there are large number of institutes that are investing in bitcoin. If these large institute decide to revert there Bitcoin investment then surly price will go down. But there is very little chance that big institutes will take that risk of reverting there Bitcoin investment because they don't want to miss there future profit.

Bangladesh were able to score quite well in the beginning of the innings, but towards the end, the slow batting of Shamim Hossain and Zaker Ali reduced Bangladesh's score by about 30 runs. Especially if they could have maintained the run rate they were able to score in the beginning, Bangladesh could have been in the range of 170 to 180 runs and that would have been a fighting score to win.
Nasum Ahmed was able to put Bangladesh under great pressure by taking two wickets early on, but now it is definitely important for Bangladesh to get past Gurbaz's wicket and the sooner they can get Gurbaz's wicket, the greater the chances of Bangladesh winning.

Rishad Hossain got the important wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Afghanistan still need 55 more runs to win the match but they have 5 wickets. Azmatullah Omarzai is hitting hard, he has scored 24 runs on 13 balls. The competition is tough in Group B, because two team out of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will play super four and winner of today's match has more chances of playing super 4. Bangladesh got a terrific start from their openers but rest of batting wasn't able to capitalise on the that ideal opening stand.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: To have kids or not to? Your opinion from economy perspective on: September 16, 2025, 05:49:54 PM
You're right having kids does not necessarily mean that you must be rich before you can meet up the requirements, even though some people may be thinking that before giving birth that One must be Rich but that's not the fact. Moreover I have seen some rich people not taking good care of thier kids I mean in terms of discipline while some of this Rich men can't even enroll their kids in a more decent school but most of this people that claims to be poor can even do better than this rich people, sometimes I still keep wondering how most people define Rich. For me being rich is when You're feeding very well paying your bills by your own self without asking any body for help, even if you don't live in a well furnished apartment or building but so long as you are able to provide all your needs you're rich.

There are rich people who just enrol their kids in boarding school and think that there job is over as they are paying monthly heavy fees. This is not the only responsibility of parents. Me as a father love to see my kids at home, when I come back from office. In my view everyone must have kids at least 2 but heavy too many kids means you won't be able to give proper time to all of them. That aspect must be kept in my mind, if someone is thinking of too many kids. Every child need proper attention of his parents, make sure you have kids that get your adequate attention.

Liverpool started like this last season and they are doing that again this season with no loss. Arsenal has started their off and on games where they play well and then lose the next one. Tottenham is fair compare to last season. It was Aston Villa that played the way they are playing this season but unfortunately they are worst than Nottingham Forest. I'm not sure yet but this season is going to be rough and I can tell with my mind that Arsenal is not going to win the trophy this year.

Liverpool is once again looking strong, they are the only team that is unbeaten after Matchweek 4. We have also seen that Liverpool was able to beat Arsenal, who is second best team of last season. If Liverpool continue this form then they will surly retain the title, second time in a row. All eyes are on Arsenal that whether they will be able to win title this time or end up at some top spot in EPL. Arsenal strong point is that they have conceded only one goal in their four games.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staying Active in the Market on: September 16, 2025, 05:25:50 PM
Sometimes, when a trader has experienced frequent and varied profits in the market, they often forget about the losses and continue trading relentlessly and even carelessly. I also quite agree with your suggestion that one should be more relaxed and slow down before experiencing losses. Because traders who move too quickly without careful calculation will not guarantee immediate wins with larger profits, especially given the current market conditions, which often experience corrections after price increases.

You need to be extremely careful while doing trading because without proper planning you will ending up losing money. Trading has risks associated with it and risk mitigation measures must be figured out before you start trading. Trading is a lengthy process where you keep learning from your mistakes until you reach a point where your right moves out number your mistakes. It's very important that one fully understand what trading is and how to proceed with because you can only lose money here if you don't do prior work.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dirty bitcoin risk? on: September 15, 2025, 05:55:09 PM
This, like the "bitcoin is used for illegal activities" narratives, is an overrated one.
Even though the exact number cannot be determined, the percentage of "dirty bitcoin" is less than 0.5%. So there is a very small chance of receiving tainted coins. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it's not a big issue. The government are just trying to make it look like a big issue so people will be scared.

The number of illegal bitcoin transactions is not up to 4% of all bitcoin transactions. As of 2018, it was just 1%. I don't know the number it is now, but it's still relatively very low, but this is the part that the government heighten to fit their narrative.

The governments need a reason to defame decentralised Bitcoin but it's up to the Bitcoin community to think and act rationally. There is no way government or any other agency can cease or freeze your bitcoins whose private keys are with you i.e. Bitcoin residing in non-custodial wallets.

There might be illegal activities going on through Bitcoin but for centuries fiat is being used by bad guys to carry out illegal activities but the governments never went after the idea of banning fiat currencies. Governments are against Bitcoin because they can't control or manipulate it and they doing this propaganda just to discourage use of Bitcoin.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme coins still worth holding in 2025? on: September 15, 2025, 05:38:14 PM
IMO, it was never worth it.

I bought a Shiba Inu before, and it didn't take long before I sold it. I don't believe in the power of memecoins because they are literally made for fun, and no projects are made to back them up. They are relying on the community to boost their market, but it could all end anytime, which means a dangerous asset to keep.
Well, other people have a different perspective, especially if they find it cheap. They want to buy it for the sole purpose of selling it when the hype comes. But what if it never comes? That's also the dangerous part about it.

Investing in Meme coins is just like gambling with your money and it's most likely you will end up losing money in Meme coin. A very recent example is Trump coin, it went up after few days of it's launch and since then it's down and out. Those who have bought it at high price are struck badly because they have no idea whether this coin will go up again or not. It's best to keep your focus on Bitcoin or on top Alts listed on coinmarketcap and you will get good return in the long term.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What distance of time is long term investment plans? on: September 15, 2025, 05:16:40 PM
You can see Bitcoin has done 1000x in the last few years but it's likely going to reduce over time because the value is getting bigger and the more it get bigger the more it chance of doing more reduce but will continue to grow, the people that will enjoy this are people that has money because if you have 1 Bitcoin and the market do 2x, that's a big money compare to a person that invested 1000 to another coin that did 10x with high risk. I feel things has change here about time of investment.

The price of Bitcoin is 115k and anyone who invest right now and want to double his investment must have to wait till bitcoin goes to 230k. We are seeing cases, where whales are selling there Bitcoins very recently that are bought during Satoshi era. But that doesn't mean we should lose heart and stop investing in Bitcoin. It's just speculation that it will take time for Bitcoin to make it to 200k and above. In reality, no one knows what Bitcoin price will be in coming 10 years, may be we were saying by that time that in 2025 Bitcoin was very cheap.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 15, 2025, 05:05:35 PM
Although Arsenal is a strong team, their performance is not going very well at the moment, which is why they may fall behind in the race to win the title. Although they won against Manchester United, their performance was not good, and their loss against Liverpool is not satisfactory at the moment. However, since the next match is going to be against Manchester City, I think they may plan to perform well in this match. Currently, Manchester City has improved their game a lot, so they will definitely enter the field strongly against Arsenal. And if Arsenal cannot play well in this match, then they will have to lose the match against Manchester City, if they lose the match, Arsenal will definitely fall behind in the points table.

After Matchweek 4 Arsenal is still at second position. Arsenal has lost one game and that's against defending champion Liverpool. Arsenal is continuously finishing second in EPL and to win this title they need to win matches against strong teams like Liverpool. City has won it's game against Man United by 3-0 and that must have lifted up there morals for next game. For Arsenal, the margin of loss is very low because there fans and management don't want second position anymore.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 15, 2025, 02:44:31 PM
None of them is interesting to any of us since the result won't affect any teams as of now. I don't think Hong Kong can beat Sri Lanka today. The UAE and OMAN match results won't affect India Pakistan at all since these two will surely qualify for the super four round. I think i will watch the match beween Bangladesh and Afghanistan since this match result will affect both teams ranking.

However, the ecuation became too hard for Bangladesh to qualify for the super four round. It won't be easy to win against Afghanistan especially when they are playing in UAE. I will also watch Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka and I think there will be some contest in that match.

From Group A, it's looks like Pakistan and India will qualify for the next round. But in Group B, the competition will be tough as Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh have the capability to beat each other. Pakistan and India should be in separate group to maintain balance in both groups.

UAE clearly in a position to win the game against Oman at the moment. Oman has lost 5 wickets and they still need 118 runs on 77 balls. The game between Sri Lanka and Hong Kong just started but odds are in favour of Sri Lanka.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin designed for the younger generation? on: September 15, 2025, 02:35:56 PM
A number of times I have read posts here about people asking questions like "how do I convince my friend to invest in bitcoin". I don't find such questions interesting. Why the hell will I stress myself to convince someone to invest in something as beautiful as bitcoin?

If anyone is still being reluctant to invest in bitcoin, probably such a person is just scared of taking risks or not used to trying something new.

When it  has to do with finances, investments or anything risky, I don't try to convince anyone to do what I feel is right. If they are not interested, that's it.

It takes time to understand Bitcoin and we after years of investing in Bitcoin come to know this secret that real benefit of Bitcoin can only be harnessed, if we invest in it for longer duration. If you convince someone to invest in Bitcoin then you have to take the load of his queries also. If he is struck then he will blame you for that mess. Make your life easy and just focus on your own bitcoin investment rather then bringing other people to this domain. Already the Bitcoin community is in every country and now institutes are also investing in Bitcoin. There is no scarcity of people here in Bitcoin.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't keep money meant for your business in Bitcoin. on: September 14, 2025, 03:51:45 PM
So don't keep your business money or income in Bitcoin so has to avoid lost, keep your business money in Fiat currency or a stable coin like USDT.

Bitcoin is not a scheme that will make you rich in short duration. One need to do proper planning before getting started with Bitcoin. The most important thing to plan is whether you will go for Lump sum or DCA. If you are going with DCA then how you will manage money every week? These are some important questions that need to answer first.

As far as investing your business money in Bitcoin is concerned, there is no clear cut time duration that when you will get your money back with profit. It may take only few weeks or duration may got stretched to months. Keep this thing in mind before you make any decision on that.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 14, 2025, 03:45:10 PM
And while Pakistan was trying to put up some resistance, they lost another wicket, I would say it was a bigger one. Fakhar Zaman went to the pavilion with 17 runs.
I think this will put more pressure on Pakistan and Pakistan team may lose two more wickets in the next five overs and the run rate may also decrease here which will further confirm Pakistan's defeat.
Because if the score is below 150 runs, then the Indian team will easily win.

Looks like Pakistan team won't be able to score even 100 runs today because it's 65/6 after 13 overs. The top batting lineup of Pakistan collapsed miserably in front of Indian pacers and spinners. Sahibzada Farhan is the top scorer so far with 32 runs on 37 balls. The best thing Pakistan can do right now is to score at least 100 runs. It is a big game but the way Pakistan top batting played clearly tells that they haven't done any preparation for this big match.
