1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAT Token - Basic Attention Token on: March 24, 2020, 11:02:51 PM
Months passed by, but BAT and Brave are still growing, who would've thought? Currently, 34rd place on coinmarketcap, one of the biggest and most obstinate communities in cryptocurrencies gives this project a valuable position in a portfolio, especially if you are a Brave user. As an ex-Chrome user it's been kinda a relief for me to give brave a chance - of course it's not a perfect product (like many of those fans are saying) it has some disadvantages. Like i've said before, the most interesting thing here for me is the community, i'm a user of CoinDeal exchange for 10 months i think and i've never seen such dominance above the other cryptocurrencies during their monthly votings for upcoming cryptocurrency.  And thanks to it's users, BAT is already listed there - https://frontend.coindeal.com/market/BAT-BTC/ - in february Basic Attention Token has won with huge advantage above the XTZ, thanks to CoinDeal users votes.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BAT - Basic Attention Token ICO (31-5-17)- Worth Investing? on: March 24, 2020, 10:53:43 PM
Interesting thing about BAT is that it's community is absolutely crazy about this project, I couldn't believe it until i've seen that BAT completely crushed other cryptocurrencies on CoinDeal's monthly vote for upcoming cryptocurrency. It has been couple weeks ago and now you can trade BAT/BTC there - https://coindeal.com/news/BAT-listing. Wanted to mention it, because most of the respected exchange platforms are listing this coin, but in CoinDeal's case it's been their users who had shoved on BAT there.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: March 24, 2020, 10:48:09 PM
Never lost access to any of my cryptocurrencies, not only Bitcoin. I want to bring up the thread of retrieving crypto scammers which are oftenly '
'hunting' for people who have lost access to their wallets - usually it's a scam, watch out for such people.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 24, 2020, 10:45:32 PM
As much as I hate to admit,  there actually gonna be a positive effect on crypto market if porn sites use Bitcoin as payments, Men will give anything to watch high quality porn,  as the number of porn viewers increase by the day..

That's sad, and that's true. I hate porn, i hate the whole concept of it and how it grows. Look at the top 50 biggest websites on similiarweb, some of them in top 25 are porn sites, it's not a coincidence, it's a modern world problem. IMO - unfortunately Bitcoin is doing great stuff to those websites, by helping them grow even bigger - you can pay for it and not so many people will know about it if you use crypto. The current outgrow of porn industry can be only limited by certain harsh law restrictions, but it brings so much money, that no one will decide to restrict it.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 24, 2020, 10:38:32 PM

Don't worry of that because when the time comes and we manipulate the virus on spreading and killing people everything will be okay.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG

The ECONOMIC CRISIS will be far worse than the Corona Virus, and the economic crisis will last for MANY YEARS.  You poor ignorant people, you have no idea what is coming.

BitCoin grew up in a bubble economy, where almost every asset was going up in price.  Those days are OVER, and BitCions price crash in response to this economic crisis would worry any rational investor.

Hard Facts

Well, yeah, Bitcoin was created following crisis like such one we're going to witness any soon. This time i think it'll strike harder, no one was ready to encounter such difficulties we're seeing today, whole countries, not only banks or corporations are in massive troubles to handle the coronavirus issue - some of them may fall due to the crisis circumstances, some of them may rise. I see current situation as a chance for Bitcoin to move forward, even though the prices got struck and yet another time we've seen how volatile the cryptocurrency market is. Banks are becoming more ridiculous more than ever with their actions, it's time to show other people that there is an alternative to this madness.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ONION] DeepOnion ✅ Your Privacy Coin with Real Use Case ✅ Show me ONION News! on: March 05, 2020, 06:34:02 PM

Don't you worry fragile frog, we keep ourself safe with our clean hands. It's always better to use crypto, but sometimes it's really difficult to do so...
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: March 05, 2020, 06:31:16 PM
If seen from the opportunity, ehtereum has the opportunity or candidate to rank number one. Besides that where bitcoin as the main coin for this time lived the number began to decrease. That way maybe ehtereum can occupy the first position. But I don't think so for the near future

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if the market would crash this year and it ends up being twisted and shattered with ethereum on the first place, but it's hard for me to imagine what kind of event could do such harm to bitcoin. We're approaching halving and recent price drops once again shows how volatile this market is.
8  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Advertise Your Project Here! on: March 05, 2020, 05:23:32 PM
Sorry, but it looks like a list filled with scams, is there anyone who is able to verify all those stuff?
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Proton Mail vs Gmail? on: March 05, 2020, 05:07:04 PM

Well, it's not the first time when Russia is doing such things. They don't even ask, they just block you. Censorship in this country is going to be mad in the next years and it doesn't concern the internet only, but also a real life for example Moscow already has cameras scanning your face and recognizing systems.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is 2020 the Year of eSports? on: March 05, 2020, 04:59:04 PM
Take the example of Valve sponsored events for Dota 2, the most known tournament which is The International. It's like the fiesta of Dota 2 yearly and the prize pool keeps increasing yearly.

I wouldn't say that this year is the year of esports but I'd say that this is the era of esports where our parents are already open with this industry and doesn't see gaming as an addiction or just a pastime.

I really don't think that most parents are going to be glad with such decisions made by their kids, even in the next decade. I think that esport will get more and more similiar to regular sport, like with massive scholarships, huge contracts for those kids, career paths etc. I know that all of such stuff is already in esport, but we talk about the scale of those actions.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Benefits of drinking hot water on: March 05, 2020, 04:40:22 PM
Water is really great, it's better to push away soda drinks, because they are devastating to your organs after years. But I can't imagine drinking hot water - it's disgusting for me, i can't enjoy it at all.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bird Flu Virus spreading in China!!! on: March 05, 2020, 04:07:12 PM
Regular flu viruses kill more people than bird flu virus. It's more dangerous, of course but healthy people shouldn't be much worried, especially if you have access to quality health services in your country.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: March 05, 2020, 03:47:13 PM
When we talk about money, payments or investments - bitcoin is great, technology - it's superb, but when we focus on Bitcoin manifest, we'll see that things didn't go as planned. It supposed to be a revolutionary thing for our society, but it turns out to more and more people to be just a way to earn more money and it's not all about money. Hope that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will become a strong bridge for a better society.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I was asked to use a hand sanitiser this morning. on: March 05, 2020, 03:34:05 PM
My girlfriend is working in a call center and they just announced that everybody must wash their hands right after they arrive at work, which isn't stupid at all, everyone should do that just because of the hygiene reasons. I used to work there for couple months and it was a terrible experience to write on the keyboards filled with leftovers from food, or touched with greasy fingers, awful thing, so it might change also, people are becoming more and more aware of the risk. All in all, the virus disease might be good for the future.
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2020 Crypto debit cards situation on: February 13, 2020, 06:26:22 PM

And yet you do shill their card in every post you make... Come on now.

Well, that's a lie.

I see they're just using these cards to prop up a shit token. That's not something i'd be interested in if i were to use it for various purchases. I'd want something that is regulated and trustworthy.

What if coindeal goes bankrupt or their provider does? Are they collateralized?
In case of insolvency- do they have a structure where customer's funds are guaranteed? Coinbase and Wirex both have this.

They've already given away 45 millions of these tokens to their users, giving away some more won't make a difference. Maybe coinbase and wirex are better options, but I don't trust any exchange, especially when they use the magic word "guaranteed". Op asked for alternatives and this is one.
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Altsbit - an Italian CEX was hacked on: February 12, 2020, 05:52:00 PM
So another exchange claimed to get hacked. It will be interesting to see the result of the investigation. They're saying as if their hot wallets store more funds than their cold wallet (much wow). I'm afraid this might be another case of Quadriga.

If they storaged most of their fund on hot wallets, they might be either stupid, or it was an inside job. Wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that someone from the company knew the exact moment / when to strike - still, we can count this as a hack, and still, it's their fault, i'm not trying to excuse them.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2020 Crypto debit cards situation on: February 12, 2020, 05:42:34 PM
CoinDeal exchange just launched their own crypto debit card (they are giving away 50k of them - 49k left, you can clearly see that still, not many has interest in it and neither do i) and similiar to Coinbase one - it's also Visa. It's a nice exchange, they are from EU, i've been using it for couple months already. I follow their thread on the biggest polish crypto forum, where they've said that you can pay anywhere with this card, using paypass, having only crypto on your balance. Coinbase's fees are known to be high in general so maybe coindeal's card is cheaper.

19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE EU WANTS TO RUIN THE INTERNET on: February 05, 2020, 03:10:17 PM
Internet restrictions won't be the crucial part of the EU fall, it's just the beginning. Comparing this union to the similiar ones we've seen in the history of Europe, there will more situations like Brexit, GB is just the first country and in the following decade we'll see couple more leaving this sick formation. IMO we'll see another turn to indigenousness instead of globalization.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bird Flu Virus spreading in China!!! on: February 05, 2020, 03:00:39 PM
Not only do they have NCoV and Bird Flu, let's not forget that their livestock are still being ravaged by African Swine Flue. Sounds crazy but just image what other viruses could still be lurking in there and mutating.
damit chinese might become the next europeans, after they have survived all those diseases and become immune to them they could use them as a colonial weapons, like europeans did with americans and australians

I really don't think that during America and Australia colonisation, europeans had any clue what they are doing with bringing mortal diseases to those continents. Even if such scenario might happen again, this time against "western world", the spreaders will be fully aware of their actions and also responsible for them.
