1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Middleware | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: July 09, 2022, 05:59:47 PM
There are different opinions about how crypto market will behave in coming year or two. Some says that NFTs may even beat bitcoin in long run and if that happens then projects like CATA will be found on MARS not even on MOON. It largely depends on how market behave in coming days. Just wait and see.

You must be kidding. Nothing can beat bitcoin and is something like that happens then that would be last day of cryptocurrency. Meanwhile the market is taking a bear turn and you are advised to invest in your own interests.

CATA as compared to its competitors like BigchainDB is going on Public blockchain and will be using POC and PoA consensus algorithm. But the most interesting thing which make CATA stand out among all its competitors is the fact that it has the 'Capability of unstructured data processing'.

BigchainDB and CATA both have similarities like both have 'Capability of structured data processing', Cassandra is also competitor but its way behind both CATA and BigchainDB. CATA is still to be launched while other wo are in production.

IMO CATA is claiming too much features which are very hard to digest before its launch. Thats why they are not selling token since they know at this moment no one will invest in there tokens. Its a smart move as they have to invest from there own pocket.

The way these guys are moving I am sure no one will invest even after the project is launched. No updated info about the project and there is nothing on there social media accounts. Thats not the way how things move in crypto.

The Relational databaes like Mysql, MS Sql are not the only ne available these days there are many more variants available at the moment. But the blockchain storage and its query engine has not evolved that much its still very much outdated and there is need to update that  which no project has done till date.

Yes from 2015 onward Dremel/MPP  has taken over like Impala, Presto, Drill. I hardly see any blockchain project that is using these technologies. There is need to use these technologies to expedite the process SQL query. Right now storage is the biggest issue in blockchain projects.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: May 16, 2022, 06:41:09 PM

Your point seems to be valid but with high risk comes high reward. If you invest in a coin when it is 100% down then surely you get profit when prices goes up. Buying a coins when prices are at ATH or going up is a mistake many people made and must be avoided.

Avoid getting into coins that are continuously going down and have no project update. MASS is one of such coin that is only going down and down with zero update from team. I will invest my money in some suitable coin rather then putting money here.

Yes thats very unfortunate that MASS who started so good is now on road to destruction.  There is no news coming from its social media accounts and also this volume is going down. I am taking a break from MASS now.

Project is destroying itself by not releasing any update about the development. Its very much required these days that team gives constant update about project because of too much FUD in the market.

It may be because the project is left by the team at the mercy of investors and the dev team is not more interested in the project. Thats the only reason I see of not giving update about the project.

Your app store will be like google play and apple store? where anyone can launch his decentralized app just like ethreuem platform or this is something different. Do you have any protocol to check whether app is legtimate to has some bug inside it.

MASS can indeed be said to be still in the "cheap altcoin" category but not cheap, because I have gotten a lot of profit from MASS itself, the price and volume of MASS continues to increase, I really agree with this post which describes several factors that affect the price increase of MASS. MASS.

So better to mine MASS?
I try to interest in MASS but no documentation or anything
I will try to mine MASS coin but there is not calculator about it and no tutorial
Is there any video that can teach me how to setup miner/farmer

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: May 13, 2021, 07:43:29 PM
If a coin is purely deflationary you will later on run into trouble regarding the functionality of the economics. Nobody will use it to transact because holding and only holding is the holy grail. If that is the case and everyone's best decision is to hold, who is going to use it and for what? You need to have a way out for that problem unless you don't care and just try to sell first.

Bitcoin till date is mostly seen as an asset of investment rather then something we can use for daily living. BTC didnt reached at current spot straight away rather took years. deflationary concept is new and will took sometime to be accepted, though I am surprised to see its bullish trend.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: May 12, 2021, 11:04:22 AM
And there are many examples of alt coins that have performed well. We cant keep on saying whether a coin can perform or not based on our personal judgement.
That won't be a problem for anyone, but you can definitely tell which coin is currently performing really well,
so that everyone can make their own research on each Altcoin.

In my opinion BOOM is the one that is performing exceptionally well. Gone up by 400% and still going up. It was already listed on too many exchanges and was attracting decent volume for many months. Any legitimate project with clear use cases can go up.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: May 11, 2021, 06:40:11 PM
Those who have invested in BOOM 4 to 5 days back, got 400% up in there investment. What else do you want from a coin? Its now among top 1000 cryptos at CMC. Way more to go BOOM.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: May 10, 2021, 07:36:32 PM
Biggest example is bitcoin which started its journey from 0$ and has controlled inflation. Its current price is mainly because of controlled supply and huge community behind the project. If there is no single example that doest mean that no new coin can perform.
Yes, that is true, because basically all new Altcoins always see examples in Bitcoin because he was the first to be born into cryptocurrency so that he has become the king of coins in cryptocurrency from the past to the present.

And there are many examples of alt coins that have performed well. We cant keep on saying whether a coin can perform or not based on our personal judgement.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: May 09, 2021, 05:27:38 PM
Deflationary tokens have one use case i.e. good to create price volatility. With time as supply of coin will go down we will see swing in price of coin. That will defiantly take some time but will happen at least once.
Can you provide an example of such a case with any token? because I myself also very rarely find such things at this time and also in the past, so I need an example so that I can understand it more clearly.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: November 29, 2020, 06:46:23 AM
One need to be careful while he invest in any new coin.  BOOM is doing good on exchanges and listed on many exchanges. So it passes one filter of being a coin for HODLing. After this bullish season is over we may see people coming and investing in this coin.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: November 28, 2020, 05:14:56 PM
There is dire need of coin that is profitable to mine since btc as a mining coin has lost trust of nee miners. It needs lost of electricity and expensive hardware to mine btc. Coins that are cheap to mine can take advantage of this situation and build a better coin structure.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: November 25, 2020, 06:03:01 PM
Just like alt coins are waiting for there seasons, these deflationary coins are also waiting for there season to arrive. Right now there prices are down and good for buying. problem with new investors is that we dont buy when prices are low rather buy when prices go too high.
es, they just perverted over coins, they do it for any color and taste, everyone that only likes to lure people with some new idea, binance burns its tokens, if you want something like that, buy them

Binance is no doubt a good coin thats worthy to be invested. But at the same its better to build a diverse portfolio that have multiple coins. You never now when these deflationary coins start going up. Invest few amount in them also.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: November 07, 2020, 07:36:35 PM
Nowadays, it is not feasible to mine Bitcoin with your computer, and I do not recommend mining with your Laptop or Smartphone because they have little bit of computational processing and can heat up reducing the useful life of your hardware.
Currently, what is advantageous (depending on the amount of electricity you pay) is mining Ethereum or other altcoin using GPU's

You can only mine coins that are not on exchanges on your laptops. Rest its very difficult to mine anything that is on exchnage and can be mined on your local hardware.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: November 02, 2020, 04:15:06 PM
First, I do not think being a deflationary token is enough reason to invest in any project, there have to be other good reasons which must prove why the project is worthy enough to be invested in. Although there was a time the trend or rather hype was much about deflationary tokens, because the team made it look like, by having small supply which will reduce overtime, then the price of the token will keep increasing, this idea was used to create many scam projects, until it became clear that without good use case, being a deflationary is nothing. In the same way, another purpose of having deflationary token is this, when a coin supply is much and the team aims to reduce it as time goes by, they can implement deflationary features or burn features, thus for every transaction the supply keeps reducing.

In my opinion the going down of supply in circulation is use case in itself. Crypto is all about payment system and volatility. These Deflationary tokens will bring more volatility with time as supply will go down. We just need to wait and see how these coins behave in days to come.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: October 31, 2020, 05:00:54 PM
I think its high time everyone recognises this and move on or risk getting caught between the Cross fire thus, losing funds. It was well worth the hype while it lasted. People need to understand that most of these deflationary tokens and projects have almost nothing to offer aside token burning rate and hype.

I think same was said for BTC in its initial days and those who put there trust in BTC are called whales now.
Deflationary tokens are in there early days and to be part of its future success its the right time to invest in this token.

I have a small data center where most of storage goes useless. Can someone guide me how to use that free space to mine MASS or any other profitable crypto? will be grateful for the favour.
