I've been using DuckGoGo for a while as my standard engine now. After watching the documentary of netflix, I started looking into it a bit more serioiusly and was quite shocked.

Keep the account bud! Getting a bit of money is nice, but if your account, the income and also the worth (just dreaming here) of crypto increases by tenfold, you will not find a rock hard enough to hit yourself in the head if you would have sold it now for a few thousand. Keep it! And nice going btw, you rock. Grin Grin Grin

Haha well this would certainly be the place to post that information.
Also, do you store your seed phrases and private keys in a text document on your desktop?

Well, banks are usually a good place to start.
Family/friends are an option too, but that usually leads to issues down the line if the project doesn't turn out as well as you had hoped.

Crowdfunding offers some good long/midterm loan alternatives, and has the benefit of getting you some engagement from the investors - but has its obvious drawbacks of people looking to get more out of it than usual.

Can't say this is the most obvious platform to go and ask for financial advice though - best of luck!

Same here! I find that a lot of daily distractions just start to disappear, and my focus has gone up tremendously.

Plus, money saving is made easy this way - not that many options to go out and spend it these days.
A yearly 1-month quarantine period would probably do me a lot of good (or grow the discipline to implement these new-found wisdoms, but we all know that's not gonna happen Cool )

Making my day a lot more productive though, not that many things affecting my day as much as usual.

There's a bit of a peak going on here -so we are also all adviced to just stay inside and not sneeze at other people.

Liquid courage man...

As a general rule in life, I tend not to be affected by what high schoolers say.
Just ignore them, dont validate their weird need for approval.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: corona Vírus doesn't affect bitcoin price on: March 13, 2020, 11:49:27 AM
There's absolutely no point in trying to back-explain the bitcoin movement in correlation to the Corona Virus. Show me a guy that accurately predicts the price movements, and I'll listen to his explanation.
It seems that everything is crashing due to the panic (or at least the excuse of the panic) of the corona virus. All assets are down and even gold saw a drop. It seems that people are crazy for the liquidity of cash, and that's all it matters for them (even if it's not that reasonable). I really can't predict what will happen in the next few days/weeks.

Pizza will cost again 10,000 BTC thats what will happen in near time.

Grin I'll be more than happy to buy at that point Roll Eyes Cant't see it crashing that much further now (for my own accountability, it's at $5,5k now).

A lot of the previous stock market crashed (or significant dips), caused the bitcoin to spike. Now, it goes down just as hard as the regular markets.

Just like in the regular market, explaining and making sense of the market movements based on the past and recent events is absolutely pointless - I could account for a bitcoin spike by correlating it with a dorito's sales spike, and explaining that a lot of pot is bought with a lot of btc, and bot causes a need for doritos (which is definitely a strong case).

There's absolutely no point in trying to back-explain the bitcoin movement in correlation to the Corona Virus. Show me a guy that accurately predicts the price movements, and I'll listen to his explanation.

100%

Took a while to get there, and crypto certainly played a big role for me.

Always had a lot of issues, especially with authorities both in and out of school. Crypto opened doors for me in a monetary sense, but also in opportunity to develop myself and offer me the freedom to afford my own schedule.

Opened my own business since, developing dApps, smart contracts and all kinds of development and consulting - couldn't have wished for a better life.

Hey Guys,

As some of you may know, we are working on a couple of blockchain projects at the moment. I am looking to pin and niche down on one blockchain in particular, but am wondering which way to go.

In the past, Ethereum has been a great source of projects for me - given that everynody and their brother needed an Ethereum dApp, but lately there has been a great demand for Tron and EOS.

So I thought I'd throw it out there, see what predictions and sounds will come from our community  Shocked Grin

Thanks a lot in advance!
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Feedback on Ledger Project on: March 08, 2020, 04:33:41 PM
We are working on an exchange project with an integrated ledger as a security feature.

We are just looking for some feedback on the design itself, but also what kind of feature would like be included, and what you would be willing to pay for a device that allows you to be on a cryptoexchange -but also lets you store your currency safely on a hardware device.

Is it working via Wifi?

So other than that, do you have any other thoughts? The design/usability?
19  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Is there a current Electrum wallet download for 32 Bit systems on: March 08, 2020, 07:26:04 AM
Yes, just make sure your Python is up-to-date.
I think you are currently running an old version - I tried it myself, not running into any issues on a 32 bit distro.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 07, 2020, 10:30:31 PM
Thanks for the insight!

I tried to get into the whole bounty hunting, as it seemed interesting (there are so many projects out there promising the goods).
But yea, I guess that if you don't have an exceptionally good radar in finding the gems, you end up wasting a lot of time on carrying other people's gains.

Hope there'll be someone to figure out a verification system or even new kind of way to issues these bounties - never hurts to grab some coins by completing a few tasks  Grin Grin
