and another thief in crypto world some info: he is working for Fred. Olsen & Co. Name: Kenneth Bjorke from: Knapstad so if he didnt give us a normal statement then i will find contact in Knapstad - probably lawyer or something... if someone here is from Norway then meaby you can help us ? i lost only 1 btc but i just have enough of scammer and thiefs, and i know some ppl here lost much more Kenneth should make some statements every day if he care but ... seems not so we post here how much u lose (calculate it in btc) Is this his details? give any infomation to me it's important we find him. Drug money stolen? Maybe just give this site until friday before dangling them off a building... 99% sure it's a scam but if someone is going to be killed over it maybe just give them a bit more time. I am all for Justice but maybe the youngster will come to his senses before it's too late.

The way I see it, some people could withdraw their altcoins because they couldn't care less about them, and made it seem like everything was gonna come out well. Yet another game of deception there.
They were after BTC.
And they took it all. Hope justice will be served with a nasty cancer someday.
I think Karma is the only Justice they will get, well I hope they enjoy the btc while it lasts and realize that stealing other peoples money isn't the source of happiness when they could of made less money short term and more long term by actually owning something that they could be proud of. This is what makes me think they are kids and have that feeling of invincibility.

Wow, thank you whoever harassed the host... Now, it went from maybe coins will be sent, maybe not, to most likely nothing will be sent, and the owners need to get the hell out of town before their info is posted. I found out something interesting today, there is applications in place now that trace "scammed blockchains"and monitors there transfers to other wallets until the point it gets traded for fiat. It's one of the reasons why GOX or the gox "hackers" haven't started dumping into fiat yet as they can be trace the funds into the destination bank accounts. It does mean we won't get our money back either way and everyone loses except for law enforcement.

Scam humor at it's best. Let me break that up for others. No Spend Zero Config Change. IE we fucked you all over royally. I believe in a year from now half the exchanges will be gone as regulation kicks in as a result of GOX and when this is eventually confirmed as a scam exchange, people that were dreaming bitcoin would be hitting over $30000 a coin need to wake up now. Not ever going to happen as a result of people abusing the system. At one stage I thought Virtual Currencies wouldn't end up being the modern day Tulips story but I am not so sure anymore. Anyways trust human nature to screw over the one chance we had from escaping the banking system with a portion of our funds.

|
When all is said and done virtual currencies will be like communism, it was a great idea in theory but isn't practical. At the end of the day humans can't be trusted enough to not abuse a good thing when it comes along.

Those "few" entities will be hung by their balls from a tree then drug off by horses into the sunset.
Someone will loss enough money, that they will loss their life over it. I hope they are content with their own actions. They'll never know fully whom they harmed so they'll never who's exactly after them, or how many. I wouldn't want to live like that, even if I high roll for a year or two. Trust me... they'll get their knife in the back, soon enough.
KARMA is a bitch! Eventually what goes around comes around, so whenever something bad happens in there lives then they will know it's because of the scam exchange.

I just made a comment/reply. Then I tried to jump on the site and it states the server is offline. It kicks me and throws an error page.
Did it finally crash? being repaired? what?
Should we grab the guns, baseball bats ,chains, knives... and whatever else we can carry
The sad part is it's these few entities that will destroy the only chance of financial liberty as people will rush back to fiat which will hurt the potential growth of virtual currencies.

Just so you know I am obviously trolling about being associated with coinmarket.io but I am very confident the rest of what I have said is very close to the truth. This will be one of the worst scams in history. It's also strange that openex.pw shutdown the same time as this exchange on the 27th Feb.
Going forward no matter what exchange you use, buy / sell , withdraw straight away unless your trading on cex.io which is the only exchange i would leave my coins on.
Remember this site cannot be hacked, ITS A SCAM or nothing, the hackers wouldn't have access to there twitter or coinmarket bitcointalk account.
So just think things through and you will realize they are playing games, has anyone from the community managed to successfully withdraw a btc amount over 1 yet?

Fix withdraws uSDe
it has been fixed already (USDe wallet has been updated). I've just checked myself - both deposit and withdraw work fine it doesn't affect old transaction with no ID. the only we can do is to wait for manual processing How does that change anything for people who withdrawn before update? it doesn't. transactions without Id and transactions sent from old wallet are 'lost'; they need manual processing but if you are smart enough (to test withdrawal with a tiny amount) and still keep your USDe - you can withdraw it with no issues now The problem is there is no actual usde, you dont keep your usde. The only thing you keep is an entry in their database saying we owe you xxxxx usde. So basically we are getting goxxed imo. I have deposited 32 USDe, and then have withdrawn 31 USDe. I'm not trying to protect CoinMarket in any way. As they still owe me quite a big amount of coins, which were lost with no Id on March 3. The hackers really couldn't give a shit about USDE, it was just BTC they were after.

Update:
It's with a heavy heart that the coinmarket team has to finally admit our exchange is no longer in our control and hasn't been for sometime. The hackers gained access to the exchange on the 27th Feb and since then we have been finding ways to take back control from them.
Most of the people replying they received coins are hackers alt accounts.
Rawt from openex.pw assured us the exchange would be more secure with a security patch with which he provided but this infact opened a loophole for the hackers to gain access. The infrequent twitter updates have been from the hackers themselves to keep people on a string while the btc gets sucked out the system.
So where to from here...
We have decided we will open a new exchange that is a lot more secure and even faster then coinmarket was, like with coinmarket the beta will last a long time so remember if anything happens we not accountable but our new exchange will be super fast.
Please support us on our new venture and we won't make the same mistake twice, soz about losing your coins but hey that's life right?
Our new exchange will be called FMOSOYFMTSOM.io
That's short for Fool me once shame on you , Fool me twice shame on me.

I would just like to give another update on the situation that didn't need fixing on the exchange but we did it anyways.
We have successfully withdrawn all btc for our friends that were helping to do fake trades on coinmarket, although we ran into a glitch when changing some of the font types which didn't agree with our new engine. You know anything with a engine and breasts will always give trouble.
So on that note we are going to rework the engine to make the font more appealing, what this means for you is more downtime and us keeping your btc safe on cold wallets so hackers that were looming like sharks around our exchange won't get access to your btc.
We getting our new source code from openex, so we confidence your future transactions will be safe.

You know, if he hadn't be so obvious about it, he could have fooled a lot of people here.
I kid I kid, sometime in the next 7 days we will have the exchange up and running again. Thanks for your patience while we work on the exchange... a bug was picked up by one of our users that could of been used by hackers to gain access to our exchange. Besides the exchange having to go down to test and rectify the issues meant the only feature that we could leave enabled was deposits. Until the new engine is upgraded we will continue to provide constant feedback. Currently your btc is being stored on cold wallets for your protection, you will see in 7 days from now that we will be back in business with all your withdrawals processed. Thank you kindly again for your support and please be patient while this matter gets resolved.

Hi All,
I am the PR representative for coinmarket.io , I think it's time to come out in the open and explain why coinmarket.io was created initially.
It was simple really, after watching the Wolf of Wall street we were inspired to make quick money and we thought why not create a exchange for alt virtual currencies.
The scene where Leo is snorting coke off those beautiful buns all had us thinking how we could legitimately take money from the rich and give to ourselves and here we are.
Anyone that can afford to waste money on virtual currencies is not some starving peasant in India or Africa and we thought scamming from the virtual currency world would not make a major impact on the lives of those coin owners.
While we slowly extract your btc from the exchanges I would like you all to imagine my homeboy and I sipping cocktails on some undisclosed location on our newly purchased vessel with really skanky ho's to satisfy our every needs with your bitcoin.
Thank you for your btc and the useless alt currencies that we used on our exchange and traded for btc on crypto rush.
This msg does mean you don't have to wait for your btc anymore, it's never coming!
I hope this is a sick joke, but this account was registered today lol, so pretty sure it isnt the PR from coinmarket.io but rather funny how coinmarket as a username wasnt taken before until today
Name: coinmarket Posts: 1 Activity: 0 Position: Newbie Date Registered: Today at 04:07:04 PM Last Active: Today at 04:29:18 PM
Unfortunately we have lost the password(fake email) to coinmarket.io just like we "lost" the bitcoins on our exchange. Many readers thought it was best to know what was going on instead of being kept in the dark.
