Greetings.

I had a transaction halted on hitBTC and KYC requested today. The problem: I claimed to be from another country upon signup. Not smart, but they would not accept users from my area and I could not find anywhere else to sell these coins. 

Does anyone have experience in similar cases? What would you do here to give best chance of recovering the funds?
