1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Best Prices of Gold, Silver, & Platinum for Bitcoins on: July 09, 2015, 09:01:34 PM
OK! I did finally receive my order but it was slightly longer than a month delay!

I'd like to know the real reason for such a delay, in any case there is no excuse for it when you're paid in BTC.

The US mint just stopped shipping silver eagles so maybe just shortage of stock, I don't know.. just remember bitcoin is like cash when it's gone it's gone..

 Angry Angry Angry
I have a pending order and after waiting a month now I'm 99.9% sure I've been ripped off.  They take 10days to reply to my where is my order email, "we'll ship as soon as possible".  I just want my btc back, no reason for a delay on that!    If they are not scammers they need to post an explanation for delaying 'cash' orders a month, otherwise stop accepting orders.

This reddit post sums it up well,

"You've been bent over and goxed. I too have a pending bitcoin order, sad to say I wish I had used paypal. Be happy it's only that much, my order is MUCH bigger. I see this is the biggest problem with bitcoin, it's cash. Would you give some random far away person cash you didn't know?, hell f no.. I trusted them somewhat because I placed and received several orders in the past, now they get my biggest order and run.. I'm guessing they have been stupid, got ripped off themselves, or some govt agency took their assets, that got them screwed as so many other bitcoin companies..or maybe just scammers..who knows. Provident metals accepts btc and seems to ship super fast same or next day. But I'd have to assume they will run off with btc as well one day.. Use bitcoin as cash and you won't get goxed."

I will post again if I ever see my btc or order...
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Experimenting with Jalapeno firmware... on: November 27, 2013, 07:46:38 AM

I can't seem to find the area where you can hardcode the frequency to set number, IE my jallys get up to 266 and 274 on each one. I would like to get them up to like 280 and see what happens from there and tune as needed.

Thanks for all the rest of the info!

With reference to the firmware 1.2.6, ASIC_Engine.c line 1580, where you can see it is trying to set the frenquency. I tried changing the iFreqFactor to 350000000 but it gives me alot of HW error...
Note that it will not change the GetInfo details of the chips... because the details are calculated in another method...
Regards

I tried this, wanted to repeat it, changing iFreqFactor to 350000000 but nothing seems to be different, did not get a lot of HW errors, ElitePork do you just change the 1 line?

Hello..

Using bfgminer and a jalapeno..

When I press  M to manage devices, I can then use up/down to select processor, but a couple times I did something to show all of them at once???  Anyone know how I did that or what is the command???

Thanks!

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Does 1.2.9 work on a Jalapeno, if so how? on: October 18, 2013, 09:29:36 PM
I can compile and run 1.2.5 but not 1.2.9, bgminer sees it but does nothing and the zcx command no longer works?
