I thought the same thing. Perhaps they trade Bitcoins... but you need a lot of capital on hand in case of losses.
If they develop a reliable system to exchange Bitcoins easily, they could charge for the transactions, such
as Paypal.

Also, is it good or bad this person(s) is in the US? There are some pretty tough rules just to call yourself a bank.

But at this stage, Bitcoin is difficult to build into my pricing/checkout page,
due to the uncertainty of its value.

We are working on a solution, but at this time the best answer is to have
customers place the order over the phone or by email, and we send them
an invoice with the Bitcoin price and address to send payment.

Ease of use isn't there yet. Until it is, retailers will not adopt Bitcoin. There
definitely needs to be a trusted and simple system in place for both the
merchant and the consumer for Bitcoin to gain in popularity.

I think it will happen, but it is not there yet.

I was amazed how well the price held, found a trading range, and held again.

Positive news will send Bitcoin value soaring, especially after the week of hell
it has been through, and there was little to no effect on its value.

Whether or not the economy hits the toilet,
Bitcoin's value is dependent on a strong infrastructure.

That is why it is so exciting to those who see the future of Bitcoin.
Is it speculative? Yes. Is it overpriced right now? Yes.

But if all the bugs get worked, and the infrastructure is strong,
and if you can simply press a button on your phone and send
Bitcoin safely, cheaply, and easily anywhere in the world...

The beauty is that Bitcoin is what it is. The hard part has been
done. I don't care what the dollar or gold does. They will
continue to exist, it is a matter how established and intertwined
Bitcoin can become in society.

The internet in the beginning, to those from the outside, was
weird, clunky, not useful, a side item in society. For those who
understood what it could be, the internet was going to change

I really would like to $8-9 today, as I am sitting on some cash.
With some stability and the flow of positive news, we could easily see 50+
by August.

I am currently using Tradehill, but it is clunky. Bitcoin7 looks good, but needs some volume. Staying away from the mountain of Gox until they get their stuff together.
