1  Economy / Economics / Re: the system is backwards on: September 24, 2025, 05:24:17 PM
@mindrust answered correctly, the rich have more options, hence they can escape from taxes.

Recently working abroad for low middle class people is very popular, but not all of them can work abroad. They need to pay language courses and exam, which they don't even have any money for that, I haven't even mention about the flight ticket, funding for blocked account etc.

What? rich people exempt from paying taxes? Do you know what you are saying op? I don't know if you understand what you are saying here in the topic you made. Because as far as I know if you don't pay taxes you can be charged as tax evaders. And all I know that are exempt from taxes are non-government organizations like the Foundation
You're correct, but I do understand what @OP tried to say, he was just not clear enough.

Rich people are still getting taxed, actually government are happier because they will earn more. But, rich people have an option to hire tax consultant, lawyer and bribe the government, those two thing really powerful, the amount spent for them might be less than their total taxes.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 24, 2025, 10:35:59 AM
Furthermore, in the second week of the Champions League, Chelsea will face Benfica. I don't think Benfica is a particularly difficult opponent for Chelsea, so Chelsea should be able to get a good result even with their current form. Benfica's previous match was less than ideal and suffered a loss to a less favored team. So, with that in mind, I think Chelsea should capitalize on this momentum to regain their confidence. Because I'm sure Chelsea's confidence is currently plummeting. So, with that in mind, they need more motivation to boost their performance.
Based on head to head, all 4 match won by Chelsea, this show if Benfica is nothing. Benfica was strong, but their top players left them e.g. Enzo, Nunez, Di Maria, Ramos, Neves etc. For now there's no popular player played in Benfica, the only good player they have is Pavlidis, he's consistent and even play for national team.

Even Chelsea will play without Palmer, it shouldn't be a problem.

3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 24, 2025, 09:21:29 AM
I'm not sure we should discuss Atletico's relegation from the league, because it seems impossible even in theory. They've had a poor start to the season, but I'm sure they can turn things around, and the match against Rayo is a good opportunity to beat them on their home field. Regarding the coaching change, I'm probably not against it, because Atletico may need new ideas, a new approach. I understand that Semione is a good coach and the management trusts him, but who knows, maybe they'll become stronger with a new coach...
Yep, Atletico Madrid is too big to fail, there aren't many change with the squad, the coach is same and the players mostly same like in the last season. Atletico Madrid could not win anything (finish below 6th position), but hoping them to enter relegation zone is quite impossible.

There are many La Liga teams worse than Atletico Madrid.

We, as a bettor can take advantage over this situation, betting draw on Atletico Madrid's match seems have higher chance to win.

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have gambling friends or you prefer to be alone. on: September 17, 2025, 04:50:15 PM
Both.

I only gamble with my friends if I gamble on offline casino, because my purpose is to strengthen my friendship or just having fun.

If I gamble in online casino, I mostly will gamble alone because I don't see the point of gambling with friends. I gamble alone, I enjoy alone. It's only an exception I will play with friends, when the game played with multiplayer, PVP games and poker are two example.

Alexander Isak move from Newcastle to Liverpool might look live a betrayal to a lot of people and also to Newcastle fans which I understand why they feel that way.
But let's be sincere to ourselves we all have ambition and I think.thays what just happen in this situation.  I think Alexander Isak is ambitious,  he is a wonderful striker and he saw the opportunity to move to a bigger club, where he is more likely to win a lot of trophy and he took it. I am not in support of him.not wanting to play for Newcastle before moving to Liverpool,  but I think he is ambitious and he has to move to a bigger club.
These days, it's really normal for people to move to other place for better opportunity, even ourselves who already have a job will move to other company if get better offer. Does people want to work and stuck at one company for the rest of their life? I want to see which person did that in this forum.

Moving to Liverpool is the best choice, even Newcastle offer higher salary, I'm sure Isak is still want to join Liverpool for better career, better reputation and might increase his salary too.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dirty bitcoin risk? on: September 16, 2025, 04:59:51 PM
Are we expected to prioritize CEXs when acquiring coins following the investigations going on digital assets?. The issue is most illegal coin are sold at DEXs where users trade anonymously and in case where some unlucky users decides to move them through already recognized addresses the become victims of what they cannot explain.
Unfortunately, yes.

The logic of these centralized entities is like that, if the dirty coins came from unknown place, it's illegal. While dirty coins came from centralized exchanges is legal because it has been KYC-ed or mixed by the government.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 16, 2025, 04:26:56 PM
Since the fees to acquire experienced players became unrealistic and very expensive then making deals with the players before getting them for free has became a trend especially for teams with limited budgets like Barcelona, Juventus among other Italian and non Italian teams.
Juventus is a rich team, they're the second highest market value in Serie A. I guess you think Juventus has a limited budget because their performance are like a mediocre team, I agree, they spend a lot of money, but it doesn't give a big impact to their performance.

But in this season, we see a good progress.

Yes, I think it's time for Sterling to leave the major leagues, as his ball-handling abilities have declined, lacking the nimble feet he once possessed. Perhaps leagues like Belgium or Turkey could offer a new career path or the Arab League isn't out of the question, but only mid-table teams would be interested enough to sign him. Honestly, I personally think Sterling should retire.
I think he has a high ego because he always play for big teams e.g. Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. He's high likely wait for other Premier League to sign him, maybe it's just a mediocre team, but it seems he want to stay in England.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: To have kids or not to? Your opinion from economy perspective on: September 16, 2025, 03:59:39 PM
It didn't happen automatically, right? You're talking about it like your boss is like, "Hey, bakasabo has a baby... I'll raise his salary several times." You've probably started working more and the stress level in your life has increased, right? Can you expand your thought?
Make sense, people mostly said child are blessing etc, but it's because they're living with higher pressure.

However I also see people get more money because they have child, it's because they're selling sad stories. Many of them use their child to scam people, I have see a content creator that show they're living like a broke people, but they already have 100K followers and get endorsement/donations, the funny thing all of their contents are still same.

Which make me understand, they're not broke, but they either live like a broke people or use their child as a tool.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin VS Central Banks, an inverse relationship! on: September 16, 2025, 10:56:33 AM
As Bitcoin adoption continues to grow, the influence of the Central banks begin to diminish; they can't control the amount of Bitcoin in speculation
But they can control which coins allowed to trade and which coins get confiscated due to their "tainted" excuse.

Quote
the rate of interest has little or no effect on Bitcoin
If the interest rate from local banks has no effect, but if it's from The FED, it affect Bitcoin. Try to search news or thread in this forum that discuss about FOMC meeting.

Quote
, and countries with very unstable currency would see persons begin to tilt more towards using Bitcoin to store value.
It's possible, but many people need to spend their money to buy something in short term, so investing the whole salary in Bitcoin isn't recommended.

Quote
A good reason why countries are yet to consider adopting Bitcoin as a legal tender.
I don't see the connection between your idea to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender when you previously said Bitcoin to be used as a store of value. That's why, almost all countries didn't accept it as legal tender.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we be concerned big firms and countries are hodling more bitcoin? on: September 16, 2025, 04:05:50 AM
If we are to be concerned about them controlling the market, how are they going to do that? It's not a single entity that holds the bitcoin they buy. Different company, private and public, holds bitcoin. Different governments of different countries hold bitcoin, so in which direction will they control it? Who will control the market?
Imagine if the countries and big firms have successfully accumulate 99% of Bitcoin, which mean 1% are belong to public. The countries and big firms can do whatever they want, they could hold or sell it, even they want to sell it, they sell to other country/big firms in order to not let the coins belong to public.

Since Bitcoin is decentralized, how can be the public, miner, developer etc including Satoshi can steal the coins belong to companies and big firms? what's the point of decentralization when it's owned by centralized entities?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal Introduces Bitcoin as New P2P for Payments on: September 15, 2025, 05:28:44 PM
It's just as same as centralized exchange that offer P2P, the closest example is Binance P2P.

It's really P2P where we trade with other person instead of trade on custodial pool from the exchange, but we as the users have to use PayPal accounts that we all know it's require us to verify our accounts.

Honestly I don't see the point of using P2P in centralized sites.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 15, 2025, 05:14:35 PM
So I'm wondering what Chris Wilder can do to save Sheffield from this situation, since the transfer window seems to have closed if I'm not mistaken, I don't know what the new coach can do to save the team, we'll see in the next games
They just sign their ex-coach that they kicked to hire Ruben Selles, Chris Wilder can make Sheffield United to reach third position in Championship, but he's not able to make Sheffield to survive in Premier League.

They went back to sign Wilder in order to save Sheffield, this signing is an emergency needs for them because they don't want to enter relegation zone in Championship.

I expect Sheffield will sack him again if they qualified for Premier League.
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin to charge Dormancy Fees on Inactive Non-KYC and KYB Accounts on: September 15, 2025, 03:11:25 PM
It show they want to get the coins instead of fulfill their duty for regulation.

Kucoin have a good start and make people interested, but they're become ridiculous after many people use their exchange.

Fortunately I no longer use this exchange anymore, it's a good warning to other users who still use Kucoin. Nowadays better to avoid any CEX if people don't want to submit KYC because CEX without KYC in the present is no longer possible.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 15, 2025, 04:15:02 AM
Rashford's performance with Barcelona is gradually improving. He made an assist in this match. However, Rashford has not been able to score a goal in La Liga yet. Fermin Lopez, Raphinha and Lewandowski performed brilliantly in this match.
Well one assist isn't enough to make Flick impressed, if Flick impressed, he won't put Rashford on the bench. See Lopez who score 2 goals, Flick retain him to play for full time, both Lewandowski and Raphinha also score 2 goals even though they played shorter than Rashford.

If Rashford not even able to score a goal against weak team like Valencia, I think the rumor Flick may terminate Rashford might went true.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2025/26 Season on: September 15, 2025, 03:04:10 AM
Why Onana didn't make any mistake in this match? Trabzonspor really get bombarded with shots by Fenerbahce.

Playing with 10 players against big team is really hard, that's why Onana become man of the match even though the team lose with one goal conceded. It was a poor decision by referee to disallow Trabzonspor's goal, there was a contact, but it's unintentional and not harm the player.

Fenerbahce's player react after they lost header duel against Yokuslu, not react when he got elbowed.

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 14, 2025, 05:12:41 PM
First half result: Manchester city 1:0 Manchester United

The Manchester derby isn't playing to the hype it had received throughout the international break, the game isn't as interesting and thrilling as we had expected like the way the Manchester derby has been. Foden goal in the 18th minutes has being what has made the difference so far in this fixtures. No much creativity as much as am concerned.
Now Haaland add two goals for Manchester City, I think it's clear Manchester United lose in this match.

Manchester United can only passing to each other and not able to break Manchester City's defense, Sesko is really useless, all of his ratings in Manchester United is below 7.0. They can only replace him with Zirkzee who're also an useless player.

See Hojlund, he score a goal in his first official match in Napoli.

About 7 aidrop. Maybe someone has the final list? Bveyron? We need to make giveaways of tokens, otherwise this is not good. We will send them to activists via personal messages and distribute drops.

He is going to restore the list from the deleted 7 airdrop topic that is prohibited by the rules and distribute the drops. This deleted topic was created in the alternative section. And distributing drops there is prohibited according to the rules. This is the reason why he was banned for two weeks.
Well that's actually allowed.

The forum only not allow giveaway thread that ask the users to making post in order to participate. But, the forum do allow if someone want to run a giveaway but asking to participate through other website/place.

There are no prohibition to send through personal messages too, although someone that feel his PM is spam can report the PM to Admin.
