1  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What is the advantages to mine in USA ? on: June 09, 2022, 11:19:13 AM
I suggest we get back to the topic. Are there any advantages of mining in the USA versus other countries? What country has the most crypto-friendly/mining-friendly policy regarding taxes and benefits?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Emirates Airline will use 'Bitcoin as a Payment Service' on: June 09, 2022, 11:11:02 AM
Definitely positive news. Amidst all that’s going on, market drops and everything, people (well, some people) losing confidence in crypto, Emirates kinda “boosted” the Bitcoin validity with this move. Especially considering that the Dubai airport is the world's busiest airport for international passengers.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Started the First Bitcoin Book Club in my City on: June 07, 2022, 09:58:39 AM
Looks like a terrific idea! Have you ever thought about making it into a podcast of some sort? Like you and your friends sitting together (or remotely) and discussing books on Bitcoin, and all that will be revolving around policies in Nigeria?
And I like that you have huge plans to expand and to bring bitcoin knowledge across the city (and maybe potentially the country?).
Also, love the name - Bitcoin Tribe Book Club. Sounds pretty cool IMHO.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven??? on: June 07, 2022, 08:07:11 AM
I’m not sure there can or will ever exist a safe haven. Especially if we’re talking about currencies. You can even call the dollar or euro pretty stable, but considering how any crypto, especially bitcoin, is a rollercoaster and quite often follows the stocks, bitcoin is definitely not a safe haven.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 22, 2022, 01:20:47 PM
Great idea, only I’m not so sure a lot of athletes (especially UFC fighters) know a lot about crypto. But I guess they have agents or managers or something, who can help them with that. In any case, it’s a good marketing move from crypto.com.
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling Review Site on: April 21, 2022, 10:54:29 AM
Good idea for a review website, but like commentators before me I’m a bit surprised to see 1xbit there, considering their questionable reputation and a lot of accusations on this and other forums.
Other than that, I like that there are articles dedicated to specific countries, like “best crypto gambling sites New Zealand” and such. Only I suggest finding a better copywriter or at least rewriting the “Find Your Place to Play” intro, it looks kinda cheap and hard to read.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Currently dealing with the worst day of my life in crypto on: April 21, 2022, 10:39:55 AM
Man, honestly, that sounds terrible, I’m so sorry Sad I would never wish for anyone to come through that. It’s great though that you’re trying to hold on and rationally think in this situation. You did the right thing posting here, at least you’ll find yourself not alone, phishing is a common problem in the crypto world.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No condition is permanent in crypto on: April 20, 2022, 05:36:17 PM
I think on any market there can be bull or bear situations, not necessarily in crypto. But it’s not like you can’t do anything about it, you just have to learn how to read charts and don’t rely solely on your instincts. There are tons of YouTube videos for that.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: June 03, 2020, 08:00:41 AM
In my opinion, now we can’t live completely without fiat money. But we still cannot fully choose cryptocurrency until the whole world switches to digital money. everyone is striving for this, but you need to consider that this will not happen until every person has a well-functioning Internet. Currently, in my opinion, cryptocurrency is used more for investment. Although for example on Amazon or eBay you can buy things with bitcoins.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: June 03, 2020, 07:43:35 AM
Hi. Thanks for sharing! This is very important and useful not only for beginners but also for experienced ones. The main thing is that these tips are applied correctly. Of course, everyone learns from their mistakes, but using someone else's experience also helps. Losing can be a good lesson for future winnings.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Where and How to Spend Your Bitcoins? on: June 02, 2020, 07:39:08 AM
Good question, because more and more people have cryptocurrency.
In some countries, you cannot officially accept bitcoins.
The most popular brands in the world where you can buy bitcoins:
Amazon and eBay accepting such payments through Purse.io.
And also in online stores that are created in offshore zones and are not subject to cryptocurrency laws.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop wasting your electricity on: June 02, 2020, 07:12:06 AM
Yes, you should learn from the mistakes of others.
It is better to ignore noname cryptocurrency and reduce risks because mining is really expensive, you need to carefully calculate your strength.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: SpaceX launched humans in space ! Congratulations to SpaceX ! on: June 01, 2020, 06:39:23 AM
SpaceX joined the ISS! Smiley
I consider this a major breakthrough in space activities, especially commercial space activities. and join in the congratulations!
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe that bitcoin will have a stable price in the future? on: June 01, 2020, 06:15:15 AM
I think bitcoin is unlikely to be stable. Bitcoin price depends on a huge number of factors.
When everyone switches to electronic money and all people will use bitcoins (or crypto) for regular purchases, in my opinion, bitcoin will continue to grow and will not remain stable.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Crypto? on: May 29, 2020, 07:24:53 PM
I think a bank of crypto can exist and compete with ordinary banks. The only question is the regulation of such banks by states. Not all countries approve of cryptocurrency.
But cryptocurrency was created as an independent, free currency, so this will contradict its purpose.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: May 28, 2020, 03:41:48 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH)

In my opinion, there is a need to follow only for Bitcoins or Ethereum. Bitcoin is the first and most popular cryptocurrency. Of course, in March 2020 it fell in price from $ 10,000 to $ 4,000, but then again began to grow rapidly. Ethereum is another popular digital currency. From December 2018 to May 2020, the cost of Ethereum increased by almost 100 percent.

Some say that cryptocurrencies are our future, others say that the market is doomed mainly because of a lack of acceptance and the future of regulation in the market.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: May 28, 2020, 03:08:15 PM
I think yes.

Stablecoins allow for practical usage of cryptocurrency, paying for things in your daily life, but bitcoin has a similar feature.
In my opinion, cryptocurrencies will still exist in the future, not only stablecoins, but bitcoin, ethereum, and so on.
If the value of stablecoins is not affected by the rapid change in the crypto market, it’s very likely that stablecoins can be trusted to replace the fiat money we predominantly use today.
