...
Miscellaneous:

- once Jupiters are delivered and mining shareholders can sell their shares to shareholders outside of original KNCminer Jupiter Group Buy
- shareholders can sell their shares before KNC Jupiters are delivered to buyers outside of original Group Buy but will be charged a onetime .1 BTC charge for name transfer
- at my discretion I can suggest to sell KNC Jupiter at any time and majority vote by share holders can decide to sell or not
- I (soniq) will not be responsible if KNC Jupiters do not hash at advertised rate of 350 GH/s
...

What happens in the event the miners are sold? does each share get 1/360th of the profits from the sale (pro rated?)

Another ex-lurker here!
From Argentina looking for a better store of value than our bad-politics-driven peso...
"Funny thing", Argentinian money has lost 13 zeroes since 1881...

I'm Argentinean too. I've been lurking the forums for 2 years now (I registered a while back, but I'm still a Newbie)

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 1 wallet with "cron" job to split earnings to 2 wallets in time period(2 days) ? on: June 06, 2013, 03:54:19 PM
Is it possible? To have 1 wallet which will split earnings to 2 bitcoin addresses after for example 2 days ? Huh

Looking forward to your answers !

Best regards,
Demo

What would be the motivation for doing that?

Something like getting dividends from your investments on an wallet that gets split between to your exchange wallet and a cold wallet?

I imagine the next to come is MTGOX.

But MTGOX could easily still serve users on a .co.jp domain, right  ?
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is USB ASIC mining worth it? on: June 06, 2013, 03:33:52 PM
It's a negative ROI.

+1

I'd stick with a GPU instead of a USB stick.

If BTC tanks, you can still sell the GPU and get some of your money back. I don't see anyone willing to pay anything close to today's fiat value of a USB stick if BTC tanks.

It's a different story with full blown ASICs, where the ROI is (hopefully) less than a month.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good idea to mine for different pools at the same time? on: June 22, 2011, 02:30:00 AM
The luck factor isn't that important in the long run.

On bigger pools, you'll probably get more of lucky blocks. But as there's more people mining there, you'll get a small reward. Very often, but small.
On smaller pooles, you'll get less lucky blocks. But when one lucky block appears, you get a huge payout.

In the end the only thing that matters is your mhps, and the pool not going down.
