1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Requesting DT to take a look at Siigari (defrauding investors) on: January 24, 2021, 09:29:06 AM
Not a word about me huh buddy.
You've been an absolute ass towards me, rejected every simple fact that I had laid out to you as to a child.
I literally spoonfed you because your logic was broken and I wanted to help you and you took everything I said as a personal attack or as if I wanted to get something out of you instead.

The absolute delusion, pride and stupidity that takes the better of gamblers is hilarious mate.
You lost more than yours and peoples money. You lost your mind.

I made you a smilulator to speed-test, you could've verified it all.

Let me lay out the facts once again:

- The house edge is not relevant in the way an earlier reply stated.
Every game takes an equally (lesser) random part of an absolutely random SHA256 hash.
This makes the probability to a bust which is absolutely the same for every separate game and there is no relationship between past games.
  "Skipping" is retarded.

- Generating a (wager) curve from a "magic constant" creates a curve that will not line up with the requirement to recover your sum of losses.
You will spend too little or too large.

- Your script, is in fact, EV+ if you get the wagers correct, to recover or +1, for every recovery cycle.
However that's not a selling point nor proves survivability because your hard boundaries are your
    - Bankroll
    - table limit or max profit

Here's another piece of advise. Fire your "personal financial advisor" and "statistician".
You're giving a few people their losses back but not a word nor a cent nor a "thank you" to me, for anything I've given you.

Where u in scammer alert???

I don't even know what you are referring to with "scammer alert" to be perfectly honest.

No, the Discord I was in was for a game called Bustabit, an unofficial community Discord.
While sales are not the general topic in there, there have been scams and people have spoken about those forums where others have been involved with.

Besides, to be honest, kids have been doing the same things for more than a decade and a half.
I've seen it come and grow. I'm not interested in it. I stay away from kids that mix themselves in that shitty little world.
Literally nothing good comes out of it.

Essentially what you are asking of me is to go into a shady alley to speak to a very specific person who deals with shady transfers for the community that evolves around those whereabouts.
I will not...

If a moderator or an established member of this forum wishes to help out I will gladly go that route or possibly a website that fascilitates escrow but I'm not going near Discord with people impersonating others through Nitro or shady forums.
Even BitcoinTalk has it's questionable moments such as this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5269812

If you don't want to get burned then be honest, open and do it here, the right way.
3  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: in need of $70 paypal on: August 22, 2020, 08:41:09 PM
I don't deal with people that hang around those scam forums. Sorry.
I've heard stories from other people getting burned that way, through Lucas (supposedly) and that is more than I even care to know about all that "skiddie" stuff.

In fact that's the whole reason why I left a Discord group and all that drama evolving around scams, manipulation and impersonation.
I'm not looking to peddle in those waters at all and even less trust any single one of them or getting to know them first.

Apparently the man does not even have PayPal:

If you ever change your mind about not going first, I'll hook you up.
Consider it a way for the both of us to gain credibility.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5270697.0

We could use a middle man if you want, but i will not go first.

Who's to be trusted as a middleman?
The guy who scammed me sells "high level BitcoinTalk accounts" and I'm too new here to know who's good or isn't.

Open for suggestions though.

7  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] cash4web Mastercard on: August 22, 2020, 12:29:02 AM
@BTCShoper

Sry it must be cashweb card, since this is the only prepaid mastercard issued from an austrian bank.

Well, that's what I'm selling. A 25 euro cash4web prepaid card.

You can contact me with one of the methods from above so we can discuss more easily.

BTCShoper is a confirmed and known scammer, do not do business with him.

Domain registrar history does not reveal anything interesting.
However, I did file an abuse report with Namecheap.
easywp.com support forwarded me to Namecheaps abuse ticket system.
easywp.com is a product under the Namecheap company/brand.

update:
namecheap confirmed receiving the complaint.

no updates from namecheap yet

User keeps making new threads on bitcointalk.org as if nothing happened.
Still scamming.

Not sure why anyone would buy accounts but I thought I found a great deal on ebay giftcards that I could flip.
Asked the dude if they are legit and not fake or incorrect, yes he said, so I gave it a try.

Turns out they don't exist at all and you pay for nothing at all. Lol.

Thanks for the feedback. Got some of the links mixed up. All fixed now I think.

I linked the thread to some of my buddies but so far that did not help much in terms of getting this guy flagged.
Kinda lame that moderators can't leave a message in there, lock it and call it a day so the thread gets buried over time.

I'm actually disappointed that people can get away with this type of stuff so easily on here.

It ruins the whole image of what BTC could potentially be if you rid of all the scammy shady crap.
11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTCShop.xyz scammers on: August 19, 2020, 02:32:34 AM
Can you have the screenshot of your transaction with them? Also if you can follow this scam report format. Much better. I hope, you still saved all your communications with them. Because if they did screw you, they deserved to be tagged so they can't have more victims.

Sorry, I fixed the formatting

What happened::
As a typical noob, browsing the forum for the first time, i noticed the marketplace.

BTCShop.xyz caught my interest and I visited their website.
After a chat back and forth I was tempted to buy one of their products.

The seller answered some questions and I went on to (test) buy one of their products.
Seller assured me that after 3 confirmations I would receive an email with the actual product attached.

The second it got 3 confirmations seller disappeared offline and is unreachable.
I replied in his thread which turns out to be self-moderated and was recommended by a moderator to open a thread here.

13  Economy / Gambling / :) BitBotto on Discord :) on: May 27, 2020, 04:46:26 PM
Hey guys,

Been getting into those "crash games" recently until I realized it's a game that can't be beaten and gave up playing.
Thought it's time for a new type of game. One where you play other people rather than RNG.

With BitBotto there are 3 "pools", A, B and C.
A Game is made up of 100 rounds, where 50 are A and 50 are B.
4 of those games are randomly replaced to be pool C.
Therefore there is a chance of ~50% for either A or B and exactly 4% of C.

When a Pool wins, the players in that pool share the sum of all wagers in every pool.

While the law of big numbers dictates that over large numbers the distribution over both A and B should even out,
the entropy that pool C causes, with relatively lower amount of players and wager, combined with the fact that people are expected to play eachother smart, will make for an interesting game.

For example, when there are 100 bits in pool A, it makes no sense to play more than that in pool B for one player.
At the same time, if other players wager high and you only wagered a single bit, your respective share of the winnings is lower.

Your 1 bit could turn into 100 or more but never less.

The best thing is that less than 1% goes to the house and you can not win less than what you put in, when your pool wins.
Rewards are variable however, depending on how much is played in the other pools.
Effectively, unlike with "crash games", as close as possible to all coin wagered goes straight back to the players.

Being a "social game" i've been trying to get some folks to give a spin. I used to run on testnet and technically we're good to go but now that BitBotto is on Main Net it's just a matter of getting the word out and spreading the love.

If you've given up on crash games or are just looking for something new to try out and get into, come check us out on Discord!

https://discord.gg/CybAKNH

My buddy on Discord has put some time into writing #how-to-play please do read it or just message me on Discord.
Don't be shy to ask because in my experience it seemed complicated for some people at first but it's actually pretty simple!

I almost forgot to mention!
The bot can be invited into other Guilds and the pools are cross-server too.
Ideally you'll dedicate a channel for it because it will notify of new rounds starting and ending.
Also it updates the channel 'topic' to reflect the amount of players in each pool. Smiley

Currently a new round starts every 2 minutes.
