1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn at arbitrage on: June 16, 2020, 09:21:25 AM
I don't know if this thread is active or not but i would like to add my experience about arbitrage in general. Even though the concept of arbitrage is easy to understand you must gain experience in order to do it correctly. I am arbitraging markets for the last 7 years now and i have learned everything i know from a forum for free. Searching on google i came across a website named arbusers.com. It was(and still is) like a paradise of arbitrage talks and information. I learned everything i needed to know about arbitrage from there. Even if the site focus mostly on sport betting arbitrage, you can learn a ton of useful information about how arbitrage works, why it works and how the most successful do it. For the ones that interested to learn more you can try and check it.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: June 11, 2020, 03:51:08 PM
Forex trading is riskier than crypto trading If you cannot analyze the market properly, you're more likely to lose High risk for newcomers. that's why it's better to try to crypto trading. Crypto trading is far easier Online courses or YouTube videos are simpler for learning crypto trading.

Do not try to learn from youtube videos. Most of the youtubers are charlatans that offer extreme profitable strategy in no time. This is bullshit. In order to win on trading, you need to read a lot and then go and try it. It is like bicycle. Will you watch a youtube video in order to learn how to ride a bicycle?

I learned a huge amount of information on the following 3 websites:

1) babypips.com (in order to learn the basics of FOREX trading)
2) arbusers.com (in order to learn the probability mindset and how to win in probability games)
3) elliottwavetrader.net ( in order to learn about elliot wave and fibo strategies)
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: June 09, 2020, 02:33:44 PM
In order to overcome a big loss from gambling you need to do 2 things:

1) Take break and try to understand what went wrong. In this stage you will cry like a baby, tell yourself that you a piece of shit and all these self-destructive activities.

2) Understand that shits happen to everyone and it is a very natural think. Truly understand that you are fully responsible for your loss and no one else. Take you loss and deal with it. It has happened you cannot undone it,no one can.

3) Correct the mistakes that you have done and try again. This time you need to put processes which will stop you from doing the same mistake again.

Good luck. Life is unpredictable, shits happen to everyone, learn from them and become stronger. With time you will build confidence because of the shits that you have overcome and you are still here and fighting.

Bitcoin is a free protocol and software to use. Anyone can participate and win/lose during the participation. The ones that came and go because of the bitcoin price are not clowns,in my opinion. They are a useful component of the ecosystem. They will promote bitcoin when the price goes up and will demote it when the price goes down. Either way they are a free marketing machine and they will bring attention to Bitcoin whenever they feel sad or good. Some of the people that will hear Bitcoin from them, will like the software/protocol/idea and will participate in the network, with whatever way they can. This is the beauty of Bitcoin network.  Grin

11  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Signing messages using Bitcoin libraries on: June 03, 2020, 01:09:21 PM
Hello, i am a Java developer and i am experimenting with signing and verifying messages using Bitcoin elliptic curve keys. I would like to ask the ones that have a bit more experience that me about this topic. I have create an endpoint in which a user can send me a signed message using his Bitcoin private key and his public key. Later i am calling the verifymessage function using BitcoinJ library in order to check if the message was signed by the private key of the user. The issue that i am having is that even though the same endpoint works for users that use BitcoinJ library, it doesn't work for users that use a php library that does the same things as BitcoinJ library. So my question is, is it possible that an implementation in Java, of verifymessage function for Bitcoin network, uses different algorithms to make calculations from a php library or Javascript library? Thank you
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: June 02, 2020, 09:29:43 AM
In my opinion and experience a good exchange has to have 3 things:

1) Good UI (you need to feel "happy" when you are logging in)
2) Deep liquidity (you need to check orderbook and see the volume that it has)
3) Crash protection mechanisms (the exchange should have mechanisms to protect you from flash crashes)
