1  Economy / Scam Accusations / ShardMiners.com Review SCAM Website on: July 13, 2020, 09:52:46 AM
I came across this website that seemed as a SCAM just by looking at it and decided to review it here, here is a link https://www.shardminers.com/ . At first glance, they sell only 4 products - the newest and most expensive, that made me do some research. First i tried contacting them on their "official number" that turned out to be VOIP/Virtual number and they didn't even anwer, then I looked up their domain to see when it is registered, check this out https://www.whois.com/whois/shardminers.com they have 1 month of history!

I tought ok, maybe they are a new company, but then when i saw their about section, they claim they are located in a scyscreaper in the heart of London, things started to smell fishy, so I looked up their site, the building is called The Shard... no creativity from the Scammers at all. It is a new flashy building which made me think that selling 4 products couldn't possibly even pay their rent. In the shardminers website it says Level 8, The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street , but a quick check on the official website of the building suggests otherwise. Here you can check all levels and which company inhabits them https://www.the-shard.com/shard/level-guide/ by looking at Level 8 you can clearly see that there is another company there called GREENBURG TRAURIG a law firm, and this is a link to their page on The Shard website https://www.the-shard.com/office-occupiers/greenberg-traurig/ .

After all this I was 100% sure shardminers.com is a scam. I contacted The Shard staff and asked them is there a company in their building called Shard Miners Ltd. and they replied that they never even heard of them, which made me look up if there is even such a company regiered, guess what: there isn't here is the link so you can see for yourselves https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/search/companies?q=Shard+Miners it's the official uk government website. Quickly spread this information, they advertise themselves in google ads so some new to the crypto community people can get hurt financially, which is the last thing we want, am I right
