2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone else know there is an Insured BTC wallet? on: January 05, 2024, 01:04:32 PM
There is an easy solution to this guys, like I did, start with a small enough deposit that won't hurt you, but thats large enough some scammer would want to steal, and see if you can move it out of there immediately, then youd have a pretty good idea. This goes for most situations btw

Unless these whales wrote the code completely from the ground up, at some point they are relying on someone else, whether they admit it or not. The amount of time required to stay updated on every new hack or flaw or bug would be more than a full time job itself. But for someone like me who doesnt have the time nor the fat stacks, knowing my little stack is safer than doing it by myself, I certainly cant insure my own money if it gets stolen, and that i can focus on what matters in life, does sit better with me.

Im not here to argue though, I could care less if you use them or not. It wont affect my life in anyway whether you do or not, I admit I did take it personal when people said it was a scam, but im over it.

And doesn't being certified through the Bank Secrecy Act mandate being regulated? I think most platforms arent even SBA certified, and I doubt most scammers even know what that is.

It's no scam, I've been using them since 2021, they were just called BoB wallets then. I've never been hacked, but i think thats the point, they believe in their security that much they're willing to put their money where there mouth is. Not that crazy
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with SNX on: February 17, 2021, 07:19:12 PM
I take that back, I swapped it using trust wallet, and it took the ether for the fee but it never swapped it, can anyone explain?

I know, it should have been swapped for ether via changenow app
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Need help with SNX on: February 17, 2021, 05:20:24 PM
Ok, so I might have been got, but I want to know how and I want to know how I can know this before I make a deal. (Of course I realize now if its sent to me, this would never happen but hindsight 20/20 and all).

So here's the ether address: 0x7D48616179b2aaF1916869Fe6C765862fc4B0043

So I bought the SNX from a terrible person, but at the time I thought he was a friend. Maybe he still is, that's not yet determined. Anyways. So it had $450 or so worth of SNX, and before I made the deal, I sent a few bucks of ether to the wallet because I've seen trap wallets that suck the ether out soon as you put it in, and the few bucks sat there for a day or two untouched. So I went ahead and sent the rest of the ether to cover the gas charge for converting the snx to ether, however, instead of converting it, it just took most but not all of the ether from the wallet. Can someone please explain to me what happened? Besides the obvious, I want to know exactly how it went down, obviously I dont know much but I am trying to learn. Please save comments that are unhelpful to yourself. I know I got got, and since I paid I want to know exactly how. Thank you for any serious answers
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Lucky Block Network on: October 08, 2020, 07:45:49 PM
Where can I trade lucky block tokens here in the US? Can anyone recommend a good site to trade several unpopular tokens and coins?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICX Please help on: September 23, 2020, 01:38:52 AM
Ok, so I had a computer crash ages ago, and on it was one of my wallets which had a substantial amount of ICX, but I took a long break hoping for a welcoming surprise before I recovered my investments only to find nothing welcoming at all. So apparently ICX had a swap and switched to the hx-address format while mine is still on ECR20, and the dead line was forever ago. Please tell me there is something I can do to switch my coins to the new address. It is far too much to lose
