So you are saying Putin ordered the invasion of a smaller and democratic oreoublic because there war the possibility wish cluntri could join to NATO and threaten Russia?
What is the meaning of that excuse for an invasion? You do not invade a neighbor country just because you do not like the alliances and the paths they are signing up into. If that was the case, then The United State would have invaded Mexico becsuse the commercial competition both have between each other.

what do you think it would have happened if Russia never invaded Ukraine two years ago? Nothing really, because even though Russia suffers a very serious regime. The United States would never actually attack frontally a country which has nuclear capabilities, that is simple understand, the White house is not interested into attacking North Korea and overthrowing the regime of NK, because the nuclear capabilities and mutual destruction is against the possibilities of a positive outcome of a war like mutual complete destruction.

....

🍑

These claims sound promising, but can secure Web3 email truly become a mainstream alternative? And most importantly, considering the current landscape, how likely is widespread adoption of this project and its token (EMT) in the long term?

Since we are talking about decentralized and encrypted exchange of information between parties, I can tell these.are the kinds of protocols which won't be adopted by any big company like Google, Apple, Microsoft or Amazon. Traditionally, mainstream market is aimed to give the end user as much comfort and ease of use as possible, in exchange of their privacy and personal data.
If you put out a project like this one, which is requires for one to learn how to correctly manage cryptographic keys in order to send information, then I am afraid this is something which would take a lot of polish and some important partnerships for it to reach massively the average email user.

As others have already said, nowadays people is very reluctant to get out their comfort zone to try new things, these new projects to succeed massively . it would require them to be as easy to use as the centralized competition.

It is not exactly about many countries in the middle east wanting to get favors from Israel, but rather they wanting to keep good political and commercial relations with the United States. The white house can be either occupied by a Republican or a Democrat, it does not matter. In the end, the most important ally of the United States will be Israel, thus those countries which want to keep some pragmatic way open for them to deal with the USA and the European Union find themselves in a position on which they have to be friendly towards Israel or at least not to show any kind of direct aggression against it.
Also, the United Nations may have some power, but it is limited... The real power stands within the presidency of the countries with the capabilities to deploy a high number of units abroad, and those which keep military bases around the planet. Anyways, time will tell how this nasty situation continues to develop.

A perpetual cease fire is very unlikely to happen, in my opinion, what Hamas did and what the IDF did to the innocent of Gaza won't be forgotten by neither of the sides.

But the black people don't condemn the appearances of the whites so why the so much hate? It is that we all can't live together happily and proffer solutions to world problems without facing racial criticism? I want to know the reason why the Blacks are mostly the victims of racial abuse.

I believe this discussion goes beyond those who are professional football players and happen to be black skinned. This is not a discussion on football, but rather a discussion on how society has devolved into such a state in which people can get prejudged, mistreated or even killed because of their color of skin (which they did not even choose, to begin with).

In order to try to give some answer to your question on racism, it would require both of us to talk about the long history of religion, colonialism, stereotypes and the perceived behavior of both black people and white people.
There is something called internalized racism, you know. When someone belittles oneself because the color of one's skin.
It is unfortunate, but in my opinion, it would be impossible to completely eradicate racism from western societies and even eastern Asia.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa America 2024 Prediction Thread on: June 13, 2024, 04:48:00 PM
I think it's time for Brazil to actually lift a trophy right ? It's been a while since they won Copa America and if they managed to do this , I think they will also win World Cup and go back 2 back champions in America.

Argentina has a strong squad as always but I feel the ego's on that team will guide them towards elimination and frankly Columbia is currently in a very great football form and I won't be surprised if these 2 will actually face each other in elimination game with Columbia emerging victorious.  Cool

I think it is actually spelt "Colombia" in both Spanish and English.
Also, it could be possible for Argentina to allow their ego to affect their performance, still holding that sense of being the world champions, but I would not underestimate them either, you know, they are quite a professional team and they must be aware they need to continue to work and train for the Cope America and the next world cup.
Here in Venezuela we are still holding our expectations on whether we are going to even clasify for the next World Cup, it is still very far from happening, however the mere fact it could be an entrance for us to participate is more than enough for people to feel hopeful and optimistic on the future of our national selection.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino/gambling center near an institution of learning? on: June 13, 2024, 04:37:35 PM
Do you think having a casino or any gambling center close to an institution of learning, will influence the students somehow or should I say be a positive or negative reinforcement on them, in anyway?

Thoughts?

Funny you mention it, because here close to my house there is a middle school, which probably cater up to four hundred students or more and across the street there is a betting agency, mostly centered on sport betting and animal roulette (it is a popular game here I my country.
My thoughts are neutral, because for me to have an opinion, I would need to gather information of whether the staff of that establishment actually dare to go against the law and cater teens and children who wish to place bets on football matches.
If they follow they law and ask or an Identity card when they are required to prove their age to their employee of the betting place, then I would say it does not matter whether the betting place is near a school or university.
As it stands today, in my country there is no law against the location casinos and betting agencies.
Next time I walk by that same school, I will try to remember and ask one or two teachers if their students gamble on that place or not .

I said let me express my feelings towards this to forum gambling discussion, if their are people who are living in this kind of lifestyle. And what will be your opinion towards the people living in this kind of lifestyle everyday of their life's?

I try not to judge on how each one of the people on this world live their life, but I can certainly say that life style is not for me... It is literally allow luck or entropy to take the direction of one's destiny, take the control on whether one will be able to afford to eat or not, or be able to buy clothing for the next season or not.
Dices, playing cards, Plinko and even sport betting run on entropy, the disorder and unpredictability. If one lives thanks to unpredictability then our life itself will be unpredictable. I do not want that for myself and I personally pity anyone having to stick to that life style because they sadly do not know better on what to do.

Your friend definitely had good times with gambling when he was a defendant and got money from his parents, but after that stage of one's life, gambling with one's and money is a completely different thing.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The real winning of gambling is withdrawals on: June 13, 2024, 10:58:58 AM

🍑

...If I notice a better approach, I will switch immediately as I don't want to continue experiencing the pain of winning and later losing the money again.

It is only my opinion,.but if you believe losing money to the house or to the casino, then perhaps you should take a long break from.gambling or even consider to adjust your wager down, in order to relieve your grief on lost money.
Because, if we are honest we ourselves, as long as we continue to gamble, in the long term we are going always going to lose money to the house, even if we start to withdraw part of your  earnings... we will keep depositing eventually and lose more than those withdrawals.

OP, do not forget gambling is a business, usually big and luxurious casinos are part of such business and to keep such establishments going it is necessary for the owners of the casinos to guarantee they will have a constant profit off gambling.

I would understand of you do not want to quit completely, but consider those options I mentioned. What is the point of gambling if you are going to feel grief like that in the end?
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: June 13, 2024, 10:45:46 AM

Being that their actual new project, then I think it should be blacklisted by anyone who knows the situation which took place with Betnoni, to be honest.
Anyone shilling this new services, which are created right after the previous one failed to deliver in the bare minimum of refunding deposits is an accomplice in the continuation of such patterns within the gambling community. Shame on them, the same shame anyone who continues to shill and defend services as shady and untrustworthy as 1xbit are.

I only think I wonder is whether they would dare to even try to launch a signature campaign here on the forum, it would be the ultimate mockery to those who sadly end up losing money to the fall of Betnomi.  Sad
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will communism ever be realized? on: June 13, 2024, 10:36:15 AM
As a resident of Russia, I want to say that communism must be stopped. Since the beginning of the war in our country there has been schizophrenia with communism, everyone seems to have started worshiping it, it’s terrible.

Could you please to elaborate?
As far as I know Russia is a capitalist country running a society where people get some social benefits, but still there are huge private companies like Gazprom and there are rich people in Russia, the so-called "Russian oligarchs".
Why would people in Russia want to go backwards into a model which caused the collapse of their former country: the Soviet Union?
Perhaps, Vladimir Putin wants to actually go back for their and reach the times of the Russian empire, having him as the life-long Tzar, instead the Secretary of the state of some new conmunist party.
Do people in Russia blame their current economical situation on the west or capitalism as an economical system? With the west I mean sanctions, by the way.

Not trying to suppress your message or anything but perhaps it would have been kind of you to at least include a warning link, instead of embedding the picture of three deceased/badly injured children in full display on this original post.
I could get you are trying to use some shock value in order for the people to listen/read and consider your message on the situation between Hamas and Israel, but that does not completely excuse the uncalled for display of this children... may God helps them.

Maybe,.for future post which include sensitive materialmlike this one, It would be nice if you included a warning on the title of the thread/topic. It sounds like a little thing and it may have no sense to you, but there is people on the internet and probably in this forum.who is not mentally prepared to witness that and that picture could make them fall into depression or anxiety.

Just my two satoshis, anyways.

Racism is a human nature my friend, just look up the "Burakumin" in Japan.
they are Ethnic Japanese yet they get treated differently than other Japanese .
in 2024 Japan is 98% Japanese and before that they were more than 99.3% and yet those people been treated worse than animals since 500 B.C.
hell you can't even see the difference between them and other Japs but since there are no minority Japanese people created their own minority and start to be racist against them.
Racism is human nature my friend, even the Ethno states such as Japan have racism.

I knew the people from Japan could be racist and xenophobe, but I had no idea they could be like that against a group of people who look exactly like them and speak their own official national language, that is quite strange. I would have guessed they'd were only hostile against foreigners and assylum seekers, but this is a completely different level of distrimination. It kind of reminds me the system of castes within the Indian society, though I don't know which one of those two are the most brutal, and discriminatory to the "lowest class on the system".
At least, there iseems to be group and human right organizations which advocate for the end of discrimination of that "minority" in Japan. Truly, it would seem we human beings seeks for the minimal differences on other so we can judge and separate our group from the other groups. I means me think what would happen when more Muslim people more into Japan...

"Batidoras de frutas", se refiere a los servicios de mezclado y ofuscación de trazabilidad de Bitcoins.
Bueno, poco a poco te irás acostumbrando.

16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Day streaming as gambler experience on: June 12, 2024, 04:47:19 PM
🍑

Do you think it is a bad thing to do, promoting gambling?

I don't think it is a bad thing advertise gambling, as long it is obvious one is being paid to do such advertisement. We are talking about a formal sponsorship with an entity and the person doing the streaming, so there must be some legal grounds for it. If the people watching the stream are not disclosed of the sponsorship and purposely are made believe there is no relation between the streamer and the casino, then that would be misleading and probably illegal in a handful of jurisdictions.
Keeping those points aside, I don't have any personal problem with it, in the end each one of us has a free will on what to do with our money.
We could also talk about cigarette vendors and they fact they know their product harms people's health... there are warnings in the package, there are advised by doctors not to smoke and the final choice is of the person to whether buy those cigarettes or not. It is about the same with gambling. The key word is responsibility.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience with online gambling on: June 12, 2024, 04:37:13 PM
Hey guys! I'm curious, has anyone else out there had any experiences with online gambling? I've been thinking of giving it a shot, but I'm not sure what to expect. Are there any reputable sites that are worth checking out, or are they all just scams? And what about the legal side of things - is it safe to gamble online in the first place? Would love to hear from people who have tried it out and can share their two cents.

Welcome to the gambling community. It think before you starting to gamble and deposit some crypto in your account (on whatever casino you decide to use) you should read first about bankroll management and how to build a budget for gambling, that will help you to avoid many problems ahead.
Not all casinos are scams, at all. Cryptocurrency casino may have inherited some of the stigma Bitcoin had when it was mostly used by criminals to carry out transactions in the Dark web, for example. there are pretty good option  now if you decide to give them a try, like Stake.

After you have built your monthly budget for gambling and you commit yourself not to go beyond it, then start by depositing a little bit of that budget to try the games the casino has to offer, so you will know which one is going to become your favorite, you can also check sport betting if you are into football.

The most important part is your take your budget seriously and do not go beyond that line, otherwise you will start to become irresponsible and could fall into gambling addiction. It is something which I would never wish to happen to anyone.

Good luck and feel free to ask more questions.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling is a fatal mistake on: June 12, 2024, 04:30:02 PM
Well, in the first place, gamblers cannot imagine a scenario where they will fail and enter these deadly swamps, they certainly just play on whims like a gentle player with happy thoughts but gambling plays a clearly manipulative role and by some miraculous transformation, both body and soul were subjected to the gambling demon and began to filter out the best and bring out the worst. Gambling is undeniably a criminal with an innocent face, just when we are most unwary, it will reveal its scariest and most dangerous face to us.

I think we are starting to talk about gambling rather in a philosophical even theological term or context. I don't like to associate the earnings coming from gambling with the will of someone more powerful than us, in the same manner I don't like to blame spirits and demons on the losses someone could have suffered. It is not necessary to go beyond the pragmatism and phenomena which we already know pretty well to explain what a person addicted to gambling does and why she/he does it.
Also, I would not to go as far as saying gambling is "criminal with an innocent face", many casinos explicitly state any deposit make to their wallet is supposed to be taken as lost and gamblers are not supposed to see gambling as a source of income. Stake even has a dedicated section on its website about responsible gambling. In the end, we are the ones who decided what to do or not to do with our money.

No casino will hold you at gun point until your deposit.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: June 12, 2024, 11:07:48 AM

I don't know about you, supporting a president only because he suddenly becomes pro-cryptocurrency (ignoring all his previous actions, his flaws and the fact he is pretty much in legal problems) does not make much sense to me, in the particular case of Donald Trump, people even seem to forget he is kind of a liar and he has kept much of his promises unfulfilled. He can talk all he wants on how now he loves Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but if he wins the presidency then he could just do the bare minimum and reduce taxes on miners and Bitcoin holders a bit, that's all. He won't adopt Bitcoin as currency, he won't push for decentralization, and he is likely to continue to push for the implementation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. Because in the end, both Donald and Joe are the same dinosaurs trying to appeal to a young audience and voters by talking about stuff they don't really care about.
They are not Bukele and the United States is not El Salvador, Bukele kind of understands Bitcoin and it's benefits.
Trump only cares about cryptocurrency and is talking about it because he know it is a section of the voting population which has been ignored and even mistreated by Biden.

Trading or gambling?
...

🍑

What advantages do you think sports betting and card games have over trading and investing?

Probably the most obvious advantage I can see from partaking in gambling/Sportbetting is the higher potential wins. I could also think that there is a big difference between the User interface between those used for gambling/Sportbetting and the one used for trading, in order to trade one is supposed to use lines on tendency, bar lines, percentages of loss/wins and other graphical indicators so the trader can know as likely he is supposed to lose or win money on his position. On the other hand, the User interface of casinos and bookies is as friendly and colorful as possible, so gamblers can wager as much money as possible in the shortest time, the User interface is also used as a way to catch the eye on potential gamblers around the internet or even walking by a casino. And I can tell they work ,in my humble opinion.

There would be few people who may feel attracted when  giving a quick look at a traders interface, full of tendency indicators and lines  Tongue

By the way, I would keep investing as a different category of money handling (from gambling and trading), the speculation rate between investing and trading are quite apart from one another.
