If it was a DoS, they could just block the IPs the attack is coming from. That is if the IPs did not change.

Don't they have 2 connectors each? A total of 8? I don't think there is a affordable PSU with 8 PCIe-power connectors.

I am extremely satisfied with the Sharkoon Rush Power series: they have 4 connectors, so with 2 (500W version for enough power on 12V rails) of them you will have no problem powering your rig. http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/content/rush-power-m

Most cards come with Molex => PCI-E.

Right... So do I really need to buy a 1200W PS. I was looking into a few 500w PS.

Each rig will have 4-5 video cards with a usb drive. I am thinking about 5-10 rigs. Depending on how fast i can sell the coin. if i keep selling a t a good step, I'll keep adding rigs. I have most of the EQ now so this will save on $$$.

I did not think about an open case. Might be a good idea. I'll let you know.
Thanks

If you are using Linux I am assuming you know what you are doing and have install your video drivers. But I should add the driver part in there. But that is all I did to get this working on my system.
