Aurus Technologies has created an open-ended platform which allows established gold industry participants (refineries, gold providers, vaults) to mint their own gold-backed digital tokens, known as AurusGOLD (AWG). Each AWG token is redeemable for one gram of 99.99% LBMA-accredited gold, held in independent vaults around the world. Aurus is repositioning gold as a highly divisible, transferable digital asset. It enables people to trade cents worth of gold instantly, around the world, thus providing unprecedented liquidity in the gold market. Making gold accessible to everyone.

The Aurus Ecosystem
The Aurus ecosystem is a highly scalable, self-sustaining system that the entire traditional gold industry can participate in and benefit from. Gold providers and vaults are incentivized for their participation in the ecosystem by receiving 30% (15% each) of the revenue generated from the usage of AWG. This allows the Aurus ecosystem to be completely self-sustaining. This system was designed to be completely independent of Aurus so that even if Aurus as a company were to dissolve, the ecosystem and tokens would live on just like a gold bar would.
