Just maybe, it's a risk, but it won't happen. Miners make a living by mining Bitcoin, If they collude with each other to attack the Bitcoin network, it also means that they accept to crush their rice bowl. Not a single fool comes to see what he has created, crumbling.
Risk means for me - a risk. It can be happen. Nobody calculating with it, I see also... ... ... What an amount of wealth here just tends into a black hole. I am wonder. Only question is - WHICH wealth? Wealth in Yuan? in dollar? in ETH? in BTC? in GOLD?

... 1. Yes, this has been solved. The new model is that you have Messages with certain types of payloads. So for example you have a Transaction Message, which has transactions as payload and you have an Indexation Message, which has an index and data as payload. Indexation Messages are data only. In this model Transaction Messages are not allowed to be 0 valued anymore, but that's not the actual dust protection. Dust protection currently comes from the fact you are not allowed to send transactions to an address with less then 1 Mi (this value may change in the future).
2. When i get your question right, you are asking for the coordicide network? Already now you can run your own node and test the network which runs without a coordinator. The "Coordicide-Network" handles all of this with a set of modules and functionalities that work together to ensure consensus is achieved. Up to now, few functionalities are missing. In a few weeks - my personal guess: it will happen end of may - for the first time all modules are complete and you can try the new network on your own. The testnet will have gradual incentivized participation and a bounty system. The goal of this network is to test for any bugs or issues that need to be fixed before the final release of the mainnet. Again: My my personal guess is, we can see a final release-canidate end of year.
I see, here is end of the time of idiot trolls. We, newbies, with a serious study, of course, have the knowledge! Many THANKs for your SERIOUS ANSWER, my friend! We met already in an UNI last years, sure. I got a warning above... ((the pic' from ifinta through our SECURE and PRIVATE channel in session app ... ... ... of course... ... ...)) Are You see the warning also @Iota-Disciple? I think, you are also with only since "some seconds" here, or? Other newbie's can't have THE RIGHT INFORMATIONs, AS YOU HAVE, RIGHT NOW? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Nothing changed then here? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FlGnrUML.jpg&t=663&c=qzChoj5iNVAsVw) Sure. Nothing changed.

I see, here is end of the time of idiot trolls. We, newbies, with a serious study, of course, have the knowledge! Many THANKs for your SERIOUS ANSWER, my friend! We met already in an UNI last years, sure. Nice. I hope then to claim my original stake (~ 1/278 of the whole marketcap') as the REALNET starts!!! It was promised here in this thread earlier. Many THANKs for YOUR SERIOUS answer, my friend! We, idiot trolls, are only invested some unusable coins ins Your working hours through IOTA Foundation. Sure. Just PM me, if I can claim my orig stake. ((I think, it would be possible. You should redefine the max. amount of IOTA only. ~1 portion should remain at owners at this time... They was enough informed to hold, buy the coin. ~1 portion can be claimed by us - well known investors at the start of the IOTA test-network. ~1 portion will get new investors. So simple. Or? The max amount then can be 10^n It is much simple such number, I think... As it was defined at the start. Or? I think IOTA forgot the ternary processor - Jinn. Not a need to use ternary. Or? JINN was integrated, because the PM owned the idea. Or? OK, I understand, I get then "only" 1/1000 of the whole marketcap', but me would be a nice portion also, a nice benefit - to be a REAL IOTA SUPPORTER, DEV' - since late 2015!)) Sincerely, ifinta

While a 50%+1 attack is definitely something to be wary of, especially from a country like China, I wouldn't be so concerned about a quantum computing attack. It used to be something I considered and it might have put me off Bitcoin for a while, but once computing technology gets to that stage then all encryption will be rendered meaningless. At least until some sort of quantum encryption can be used to counter it, if such a thing were even possible. All banking institutions would be vulnerable to attack and the very bedrock institutions that we all rely on would be rendered defenseless against such quantum computing attacks - there would be no safe harbor so bitcoin theoretically should not suffer any more or less than other places used to construct transactions.
What are You think about quantum computing resist algo's as i.e. the protocol of IOTA? >;DO= https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1216479.msg56759100#msg56759100

Except for bitcoin, Staking, Lending and Defi are certainly still breathtaking in the market. AAVE's rapid outbursts once again bring Lending back into place after disappearing years ago, SOV could be just as interesting. Attention was also paid to NFT boot platforms that support games. The rest are Defi and Staking with ETH. I will definitely stick with this trend and a plan needs to be prepared in the long term!
a LOVE is a REAL NFT, or? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

This is the proof in crypto world that if you hold your token for long time and that token have future probably the token will increase tremendously like bitcoin and other crypto currency. I remember bitcoin reach 20K dollars I'm not sure if 2018 4th quarter of that year then after that bitcoin decreased every month and a year, but now Bitcoin reach 60K dollars my prediction BTC can reach 80K dollars this year.
Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency. There was no premine and the inventor (Satoshi Nakamoto) never attempted to make profits out of his invention. Even in 2010, the total market cap of Bitcoin was only around $3,000. On the other hand, most of the ICOs are priced in tens of millions of USD now, if not hundreds of millions. There is only a small chance that they will be successful in the long term. And even if they are successful, I don't think that they will provide huge returns like what happened with BTC. Because they are already overpriced. What are You think about the HUGE AMOUNT's of scam's in the economy LATER? Where is Satoshi Nakamoto? Me seems, You known she / he well. Or?
