1  Economy / Speculation / Re: The attractiveness of Bitcoin among my friends on: June 13, 2024, 09:12:06 PM
-snip-
That's why before teaching friends or family about crypto, the first thing that must be taught is about risk, because this is very important to start investing in the world of crypto. There are lots of people out there who educate their friends by only showing the benefits without teaching them about the high risks of not doing their own research or so on. Then what happens, when he experiences a loss, we are the ones to blame. but if we say the first risk then of course when he loses we can't be blamed, even if there is it might be very small.

I have mentioned investing in bitcoin several times when gathering with friends about the risks and benefits of bitcoin, but I have never forced them to invest too. If any of them are serious about investing, I advise them to do their own research, especially regarding wallet security. because if they do their own research, even though Bitcoin is going down, they will no longer panic because they have changed their mindset that Bitcoin is a long-term asset.
Being informed about investment risks is important - but most people seem to understand that no one is free from risk once they become an investor. The risk of price volatility is not the worst - but they should be told that the risk of losing access to the wallet is much worse than the others.

The best attraction about bitcoin investment among people is - when they see you, their friends or other people being successful. Many people will come and ask you how you can make money and buy whatever you want - but if you fail, they will never come and give you support. Don't rush into becoming a mentor – you are not responsible for someone else's financial future, but you can really change their mindset when you are a successful person.

Okay i accepted your opinion. Just waiting for the next update from me, it's kinda like joke btw.
After some time - how about your current withdrawal status update, have you successfully made a withdrawal?

As far as I know - the casino strictly prohibits users from utilizing the casino as a place for money laundering. Restricting you from withdrawing your deposit for a period of time is no joke - but it is useful considering that you need to do something to test some games so that your activity is not suspected of being illegal. The team has explained to you the situation - so I hope your problem can be resolved.
3  Other / Meta / Re: Why are mod not locking long threads on the gambling board discussion anymore on: June 12, 2024, 07:24:21 PM
Moderation on gambling board has always existed – of course moderator do it based on reports. Previously I have reported many posts on gambling board and also some topics that have to be closed when the case or topic creation goal has been achieved - but this is a tedious job despite the fact that this is part of the user contribution to the forum.

Unfortunately I can no longer access how many posts and threads on the gambling board I have reported and handled by moderators - that's because my reporting history has been lost.

There are a few consequences I can think of when you force moderators to lock topics that are more than 5 to 10 page:
  • Some users will create new topics whose discussions are not much different from the topics that have been locked.
  • More and more unimportant topics include made-up stories.

I never admitted to play from Spain and the UK, I was barely explaining why the IP ping showed Spain and the UK respectively. As you point out, the fact that my IP was showing Spain or the UK was never flagged to me and I never received a warning or pop-up for this, therefore, how was I supposed to know that my pings where in fact from the country my SIM is from and not from LUX where I was in? This could easily be settled by completing KYC, and as I stated before I am happy to provide all the documentation deemed necessary, including LUX resident permit, Spanish ID document, employment contract, rent agreement, etc.
IMO - @Rollbit Razer needs to see your complaint and requests regarding this to make things fair. I haven't seen any responses so far other than the above - but giving you the option to defend yourself like proving you're not playing from Spain or England makes sense.

Be patient and wait - but first, have you received this one in your wallet?

OP had their deposit returned (including an extra $1,357.41)

5  Economy / Speculation / Re: $120,000 Bitcoin is going to happened? on: June 12, 2024, 06:41:57 PM
As usual - I and everyone here don't know for sure when the price of bitcoin will break above $100K. Prices may rise faster than expected - but the main thing is; how much can you have in a market situation like this. You need to focus on how to build a good portfolio so you can make a profit - so ignore for a moment when that $120K will happen.

If you don't have any bitcoin - it's useless to hope that the price will reach $120K. You will not get anything other than just seeing the euphoria of holders who managed to get double returns from their investments. So - focus on the portfolio, that's the most important thing.

6  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip on: June 11, 2024, 05:46:27 PM
-snip-
If we invest anywhere, the risk will always be there. It's all up to you, do what you think is best, we can't tell you when to buy this asset. Remember that investment requires a long time to enjoy optimal results from what we invest in Bitcoin assets. If I were you I would buy it without delay, even though the current price feels very unpleasant for us as lower middle class people, I will still buy it every month and continue using the DCA technique until the time and price I target I will get in selling the asset me and of course I will enjoy what I have started planting today.
There's a lot of pre-delivered advice - they're even willing to tell you the strategy. One important thing is – understand the risks and control everything with mission, not ambition. You are right about; there is no quick path to success - it all takes time and sacrifice. If today you are ready to accept volatility as a consequence of investing - then you should be really ready to get the return.

The best time to invest is when you have a budget and when you are ready to take all the risks. There is no investment without risk - everything is risky, but you have to learn how to recognize risk and even know how to minimize it.

I think you missed the screenshot shared by GofarChan. Or maybe I am missing something.
You're right - I missed the image he posted, that was my mistake.

GofarChan requested two withdrawals.
The first one was requested 9 minutes after the first deposit and the amount was 64.467 USDT. The second one was requested only 5 minutes after the second deposit and the amount was 57.09 USDT.
Almost all casinos expect users to bet a minimum of 1x after they make their first deposit - this is intended to prevent customers from only taking advantage of the first deposit bonus. I think in the above case GofarChan has already bet several times so the balance he withdrew is already higher than the amount he deposited - so I don't really understand what the problem is.

Luckily he's been getting guidance from the team - I hope the problem is resolved.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 11, 2024, 03:34:47 PM
Apart from the potential to make money - gambling also has the potential to make you run out of money. Whatever approach you implement to gambling activities in pursuit of big wins - then you will most likely lose. If you gamble just for fun - then you should never care about the bet amount [low or high], losing and winning should be a normal part.

But in reality - the average gambler really wants to win the bet. They really try many ways to win including implementing several strategies. It doesn't matter what the strategy is - if the main goal is to make a profit, then gamblers should be aware that there is a risk of losing that they must consider. They should never bet beyond their ability to lose - if they break the own rule, it will be a problem.

I just tried this playgram on my telegram account, already deposited and try the first withdrawal, but it said "it may take up 24 hours for the first withdrawal, and after that withdrawals are instants", I think that's okay, and then I tried to deposit 50$ more, and then trying to withdraw for the second time, but it's not coming until now for the 2nd withdrawal. How could it be ?

Here is my wallet for the playgram on telegram : TTnYfNg3jwqBghpULkSUnKLddeRScTvDzn

and then below is the proof of withdrawal and deposits.

You make a deposit on the same day with less than 15 minutes between them. I have checked the transaction history of the address you posted - it shows that you have made a deposit of 107 USDT.

11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Avalange Bridge scam (Ava Labs freeze my btc) on: June 10, 2024, 06:39:19 PM
I have a question for you - did you do every step correctly when making a transaction and did not violate the three warnings below?
There is a need to comply with the terms and conditions of use before doing so - of course this can make your transactions more comfortable. Some of them are mentioned below:

Source from: Avalanche Bridge™ FAQ

Quote
  • USERS MUST NOT SEND FUNDS DIRECTLY TO ANY OF THE AVALANCHE BRIDGE CONTRACT ADDRESSES. The Avalanche Bridge should only be accessed through the Avalanche Bridge UI, located here. Any funds sent directly to the Avalanche Bridge contract addresses will be permanently lost, and are not recoverable.
  • USERS MUST NOT SEND FUNDS DIRECTLY TO ANY OF THE AVALANCHE BRIDGE WALLET ADDRESSES. The Avalanche Bridge should only be accessed through the Avalanche Bridge UI, located here. Any funds sent directly to the Avalanche Bridge wallet addresses will be permanently lost and not recoverable.
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE ANY SMART-CONTRACT WALLET WITH THE AVALANCHE BRIDGE. The Avalanche Bridge is currently not compatible with smart contract wallets because smart contracts are currently not supported by the Avalanche Bridge. Using the Avalanche Bridge with a smart contract wallet or smart contract will result in the permanent loss of funds. Users should not use smart contracts with the Avalanche Bridge at this time because no one can retrieve tokens lost when smart contract wallets try to use the Avalanche Bridge. This is not a statement against smart contract wallets or the below list of smart contract wallet projects, which is not an exhaustive list. This is to make users aware of the current technical architecture. WE CAN NOT RETRIEVE YOUR TOKENS.
    1. Ambire
    2. Argent
    3. Gnosis Safe

If you violate the 3 warning or condition above – then you will definitely lose your bitcoin. But if you do every step correctly - I think you need to get support to solve the problem. But first - is this your first transaction on Avalanche Bridge?

For privacy focused websites, Google, Facebook or any other external account for registration are not suitable to be used. Email and password combination is best for privacy as one can easily use a throw away email address with no link to their real life Identity.

I'll also rather not use metamask login but I can see how some people will want to use that.
I get something like another red flag that every customer might need to consider - I mean, this casino is not licensed.

We require no KYC. We are unlicensed.

What I know - when casinos have a license, at least they are operating legally. Licence can also be a reason why casinos are considered safer considering that licensing can force casinos to comply with regulation set to protect their customer or gambler from scam attempts and unfair gaming. Carrying out operation legally and complying with all the rules is what licensing is all about - so what about this one?

This is just a question – not an accusation, of course because I wonder how this can be said to be safe?
13  Economy / Services / Re: HB's Signature for Rent on: June 10, 2024, 05:51:44 PM
hugeblack - I know exactly how difficult it is to find new campaign other than casinos so far. Not many new projects were promoted after the forum forbid mixer - but I'm sure, there are other things that will come here instead of just casinos.

I think the Foxpup's Merit Cycling Club might be a good fit for you considering you are a pretty generous merit source so far. I'm wondering why he hasn't offered you a chance and joined his club yet, so I hope he comes through for you soon. It's definitely cool.  Wink

But anyway - good luck to you, hugeblack.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin for you? on: June 10, 2024, 05:37:14 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) to me is a digital currency or digital asset.
So far - those are the two function of bitcoin. As a means of payment – bitcoin has many advantage over traditional fiat currencies currently circulating. Bitcoin is safer for transaction and you can save a lot of time sending money between countries by setting your own fees. Of course - you don't have a daily limit for trading bitcoin as long as you don't store it on a centralized exchange. This is better than centralized banks - in fact you won't get a single privacy-intrusive question when you use bitcoin as a means of payment or currency.

As an investment asset - you certainly know how it has performed so far. Bitcoin has given early investors thousands of percent return to date - even new investors will get worth it return when they invest. Price volatility allow the value of your portfolio to rise and fall - but if you are patient, get the return.

Thanks.
I tried to use the browser app Telegram, still can't do full screen, the window of Playgram on the web version is very prone to close if you just accidentally click the background app.
It seems this is really comfortable to use on mobile, it's very easy and most of the time I use it on a mobile phone.
Yes - that's what I wanted to say before, Playgram seems to be more comfortable for mobile users than computer or laptop users. I've tried it on my computer and laptop - the results are the same which means Playgram is only quite comfortable on Android or mobile based on its appearance.

Anyway - this is not a big deal for me, as I prefer to use my phone rather than a laptop or computer to play slots or other bets. Using a mobile phone will certainly reduce the chances of someone around you knowing that you are gambling.  Grin

Are there any ways to play a bigger window or screen if I am using the desktop application of Telegram on MacOS?
I already tried on my mobile phone to play using android Telegram and it's really easy to use and very light only while playing. Now, I want to try it on my Telegram application on MacOS.
I'm not a MacOS user - so I'm not sure if I can give you any input. However it seems - the screen display for windows is also the same as what happened to you, but if you need a quick response then maybe you need to reach out to the Playgram Casino Community and find out the input.

Considering that Playgram.io account has not been active in the last few days - the quick solution is below:

17  Other / Meta / Re: There's enough merits, if hoarders aren't selfish. on: June 09, 2024, 07:22:51 PM
Receiving lots of Merits should be hard to achieve, that’s the whole point, to encourage good posting and constructive posting habits. If theymos was to vastly increase the number of Merit sources it’s likely it’d be easier to receive Merit which cheapens it and means it’s easier to receive. The forum would be full of spam and low quality posts. Nothing good in life ever comes easily, try harder.

Smiley
I really like the last line in your post - it's definitely true.

I agree with your assumption - but in certain local board, the number of merit distributed is so low every month that many users are starting to expand to global board in forum and try everything to earn merit. Some of them really seem like merit fishing - but that's the reality. So in my opinion - for certain cases, adding some new merit sources might be an effective solution to increase the flow of merit on certain board including local board.

If what I said is wrong - I don't think @hugeblack will receive many requests on his thread.

[Merit] Share your best local board posts/topics
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Converting altcoin profits into Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2024, 07:03:31 PM
-snip-
Take note that i do not keep any altcoins in my portfolio. There is no strategy that has proven to be successful in predicting altcoins, how can you trust some developers, when a lot of them have turned out to be scammers in the past, and if you are investing because an influencer recommends the coin, then that is a crazy thing to do. I agree with the point that you can get lucky with a few altcoins if you buy a lot of them, but what if you don't get lucky.
Not all altcoin are trash - some of them can also bring you profit. Just avoid most of the new altcoin created when the narrative is high like memes or AI - but of course I don't recommend you buy an altcoin if you're never convinced it can give you return.

Of course it's not a problem if you only invest in bitcoin - but anyone who diversifies their assets into several altcoin is not entirely to blame. I also own bitcoin and tend to be more confident in its future potential than altcoin - but I have a few percent of altcoin in my portfolio that I at least believe can give me return.

Indeed, to create a solid financial foundation, investment is one of the best ways for us to get results in the future. There are still many people out there who don't understand what investment is, so they continue to work hard all the time and as hard as they can every day to get additional income. The way they do it is actually not wrong, but employing money and being able to make money from investments is the way smart people see this opportunity. We are among the lucky group of people who know what investment is and understand how it works. In my personal view, investing is the same as building a business, without needing a lot of capital to pay for the costs that people usually do in business. We just need to choose the right coin in this case.
Awareness of the importance of investment is basically influenced by many things. I can say that your knowledge and circle can change your point of view about how important investing is. Not everyone knows what a good investment is - but the average person knows what an investment is, they just don't have enough budget to do it.

Others don't know how to make money with money – they are busy people who work to make ends meet every month until retirement arrives. Many employees fall into this category - but some employees are also aware of investments and know how to make money with money. So – lucky you are aware of investment, this will help you to improve your financial condition both in the short and long term.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 08, 2024, 02:18:45 PM
-snip-
but eventually they will realized that they are paying lot for the fee compared to how much the banks are putting into it?
while the crypto users will understand this fact and also there is nothing wrong adding altcoins as options right?
because each of us are also having diversified folio and not just purely bitcoin.
Having more payment options certainly allows customers to choose what suits them best - but the main idea is to "accept payments in bitcoin". Many customers may be happy with low-fee or free transaction - so businesses can get around this by using things like using LN or Binance Pay.

-snip-
Unfortunately, in my area, no one pays for car repairs with Bitcoin, even though almost everyone knows about Bitcoin, whether you still lack confidence or are afraid, maybe I can give an example of this topic to those who have a car repair shop to carry out an idea like this.
This really depends on the bitcoin regulations in your country. Adoption of bitcoin as a legal tender is still difficult to achieve in many Asian countries - so perhaps that is the reason why no shops are willing to accept bitcoin as a means of payment.
