I was really delighted with Chelsea's high effort against Tottenham last weekend. There was a balanced game in the first half actually and Tottenham got chances to score too. However, they couldn't benefit from them. After that, Chelsea started playing much better in the second half. They scored two goals in the first 15 minutes and that was the end for Tottenham. Because they immediately gave up. Chelsea would have scored even 5 or 6 goals in this match if they didn't waste many chances. And Werner had another horrible match despite making an assist. He wasted an absolute goal chance in the second half.

The current English Premier League is much more suitable for Ronaldo's style of play. Especially Ronaldo, because of the good memories in the past from previous performances at Manchester United, has a great motivation to show a good game in the current return. But Chelsea stayed strong against them. In the second half, everything changed. Chelsea dominated the whole half from the start to the end. And they scored 2 goals in only 8 minutes. This caused Tottenham to be out-of-morale and they were not fighting anymore. Chelsea took the full control of the game and attacked for the third goal which came in the last minutes. Lukaku were so eager to score especially in the last 15 minutes but he couldn't this time. It was an easy 3-0 victory.
