1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ ANN ] Altcurrencyhelp.com Presents Altcurrencyhelp Donation Bar - Check it out on: April 13, 2014, 07:50:59 PM

_____________

Altcurrencyhelp Donation Bar
( powered by Beeeeeeeeeeer )
_____________

_______________________________________________________________________________ __

- Public Alpha Build - User Input phase -
_______________________________________________________________________________ __

This is out testing alpha phase, please use this are your own risk, but use it regardless, just not all your coins or anything. A donation amount will be the intended amount.

This was thought of, after seeing forums and sites cluttered with addresses, and issues that could stem from that, as well it just looks intimidating if you're a new cryptocurrency user and aren't up to par with things. So we made it easy and simple to use.

What is it?

Is a Multiple Coin listed, Donation bar, generation App. ( in other words, it takes coins you have addresses for, and turns them into an embeddable code, you can just post in forums, or signatures or websites and users can click to copy your address or just scan the QR code, that simple. ) A point and click for you, and payout later on.

Is it ready? I wanna use it now!

Sorta, it is not ready, it's in Alpha, we want to make sure it's properly tested and bug free, so we are having you test it out as well drum up publicity for it and the site, we want to add some extra features and tweak it more overall before we release and move onto other things, and most of all want to help you enjoy using it more.

When will it be ready?

Soon(™) But you can try it now here
http://altcurrencyhelp.com/?q=Altcurrencyhelpbar

How many coins can I use with it?

For now, you can use 4 coins, with plans to add more, you can use more than 3, but the bar will turn into two rows instead of one, we are working on a scalable bar, based on coin number you use.

My coin isn't part of the three shown, I want it to be, can it?

Just give us a email at the link provided and we can talk.

 TEST IT NOW HERE ----- > http://altcurrencyhelp.com/?q=Altcurrencyhelpbar

Work in progress this is a TEASER - This is the end result of an app we have been working on, as a present from us to you.
More coins will be added, if you are curious to have your coin added, please contact me.

Adspace will be available as well, on http://altcurrencyhelp.com/?q=Altcurrencyhelpbar - inquire within while the iron's still cold folks.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: March 20, 2014, 03:30:50 AM
Yo Xzibit,

You wanna what!?!?!

Xzibit: " I wanna put an exchange, inside your exchange, so you can exchange your exchanges, chaining changes, but wait, check this shit, I wanna put a decentralized exchange, inside your decentralized currency, so you can be free to roam while you are free to roam, and wait, I'm not fucking done yet! I want to put the banking system inside your banking system so you can bank, while you're banking... yeah, I went there... "

everyone else: "  Huh,  Shocked,  Undecided Word... "

----------

So we need a Escrow to user auction to ghost trading, to penis picture farm!?!? I'm confused

I wanna go with Xzibit's idea... Exchangeception.... trade, while your trading, while you're traded...

---

BTW, I would think the hacker would be in these forums, trolling.... Beware of stressful posters...

This is a good time to remind people of the importance of paper wallets.

We made an easy to follow tutorial for cryptocoin users here: http://mooncoin.info/?p=129

It's written for Mooncoin but the same principle works for BTC and anything else.

CoinEx was (and may still be) a great exchange. They were the first to list MOON (my coin) after launch and I've enjoyed using their platform as it was fast and stable. Hopefully they bounce back soon!

I like the idea of paper wallets, but really this is my money, the future of everyone's wealth, I just don't like the idea of that being on paper, it's too easy to get messed up or even worse, I can only implement so many security features into a paper wallet, but a digital wallet that is not on my pc or smart phone a actual digital wallet that if it is stolen, I have the back up on a cold storage device that I can later back up on a new digital wallet I buy at the store, while the thief has to struggle for a thousand years trying to brute force my stole wallet since I had it encrypted with something fierce and layered.

I like the idea of using a paper wallet to transfer money to a family or friend, or donation at church, homeless or fundraiser for school, but to keep my vault of coins on? no thanks, we can do even better.

Where thou are you Digital Wallet Stick Thingamajig...

When coinex is backup up i will continue to use them.
Simple as that and i am sure that the lost income will be recovered in time for him as well
As i was thinking i would like to have an option to store coins for later trading into a cold storage which can be opened in say 48 hours, i am even willing to pay a small fee todo so that way it becomes very hard to loose the coins.
And in a very moderate time frame releasing the coins would be still good enough to trade them.
Ofcourse people have to think carefull about the cold storage because if you want to react on fast moving value coins, the somewhat longer time to release them could spoil the fast sell.

What we need is a more direct approach to cold storage in a true form.

Even when we store them on our HHDs it's there for the taking, we need a real wallet, of course not as credit card slot filled as the old, but a real physical wallet we can transfer coins from a visual screen medium or even just send directly to a wallet wifi,

ever watch " Almost Human "

We need a " BitStick " - A USB, WiFi, Smartphone NFC-free bump Wallet device, the size of a usb storage device.

And Go!

That's image needs to stop being posted, it's a shitty way to try and advertise, and most likely the shadiest thing to do during a thread of an exchange issue, I mean go stub your toe or something, lol.

Any information about coin dumps around the exchange world minus the Billions of LOT?

Bitcoin and alt currencies are risky investments as a whole. Never invest what you are not willing to lose. You have no idea how much I lost in the stock market during the banking fiasco that closed several banks a few years ago.

This technology is in it's infancy and subject to new hack / attack techniques on a daily basis. Hell, even micro$soft has it's regular patch Tuesdays to mitigate such things. And I believe their crew and resources may be slightly higher than Coinex.pw or ANY other exchange out there right now.

I'm with you,

I'm not sure how many gamers we have here, but you are inside a giant beta test, I don't give a shit what you read, think or have had in the past, this is a test, the following noise is just annoying though Smiley

I read over, and over, and over, about people loosing 10 thousand dollars or more, I'm just trying to wrap my head around the fact you left 10 thousand whatever online in a public safe, keep your coins on your pc, and then back them up on a offline storage device, so if you are hacked, they are safe.

We all lost coins, but I lost what I was ok with keeping on a site, stuck in trades. I can only say that they have replaced coins in the past, and most likely will do it again, no reason to believe otherwise.

But honestly, we are betatesters, making money every which way we can, we can choose to work together or we can choose to work against  everyone. I can give you spoilers who will profit more, people working together don't have to deal with the shitstorm of people angry at them, or thinking they are a scam, you have much more time to mine, innovate an have sex, so let's work together, I'm horny....

I think you guys are rad, bunch of number lovers and tech geeks, come together and have a good time, let's pick our shit up, plan ahead and learn from this, and figure out how to fix things so we can then recoup our losses.

Think of this, they could of left when they had much more volume during the Olympics, who in their right mind steals from an exchange they own during a bitcoin downtrend?

Least would wait till it was around 1,000.00 USD ( now everyone will be scared around that time )

List of things that should be fixed in the future for coinex.pw

- Email users during major issues, or put the news site back up and force us to go thru it 1st.

Finally! I've been pushing for this for some time now! It's like you took my idea right from my sketchbook *looks at sketchbook* ok you're good.

Honestly if you need any help brainstorming, or innovating past a wall, holla at me!

I believe this idea needs to be done, and more ideas like it or else cryptocurrency will fade, let's work together making cryptocurrency the future innovation and will, make it happen!

11  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: East coast bitcoiners, please guage this project for me. on: March 18, 2014, 03:07:48 PM
I think it's a good idea,

The more connected we become, the more organized, the more organized the more weight we carry, and the more influence we present.

Like the post above me, can apply to other east coasts, maybe give an option of a link to any other east coast bitcoin grps, this isn't just a here thing, it's a there and there and overwhere thing too, Smiley.

let's come up with some organization and address the many issues cryptocurrency needs address and make our name and funds that way instead of the  influx of shit coins cluttering and downtrending the whole shabang.

What says you all?
