I recently got a new computer and therefore instead of resyncing i just imported my priv keys into blockchain. I just went to send my first payment and something screwed up. Any help is appreciated. I don't know where the .07 was sent as I didn't specify that address?

I am guessing when you entered your private key into that blockchain wallet, you sweeped it and did not import it directly. And if this is correct the funds should in your blockchain wallet in one of the addresses.

nope i directly imported, I 100% know I did

Hey the CS:GO server has been unplayabley laggy for me. Just letting you know. Thanks!  Grin

There are several servers, which one?

It does seem to be somewhat of a puzzling situation.... It's no surprise the price has wavered in his absence.  HYPERfuture did say he'd still be around a lot, but this remains to be seen.....

There's just too much FUD in crypto, so even though he forecasted his absence, not everyone reads this thread every day. The HYPERfoundation is necessary for future success, as long as HYPERfuture is scarce. Newcomers need some sense of leadership around here, or at least something to make them feel comfortable investing.

@meowball, was there any additional correspondence between yourself and the dev regarding the foundation? HYPER needs a face while future is taking care of business.

HYPERfuture has taken vacations multiple times before. You are all free to think the price movement is due to every breathe HYPERfuture takes, but that is not how things work.

sorry my bad, the US east coast server. my ping is around 50 which shouldnt be too bad but i cant even play its so laggy

In my experience (years) of administrating/owning Minecraft servers...offering to moderate, essentially asking for Mod, is terrible etiquette and doesn't produce good Mods. And anyone who takes up Mods like that is generally going to find they get a sub-par staff team. Now I'm sure some people who offer to moderate have good intentions, but it isn't generally a good policy.

eh, i disagree... i just offered to moderate i didnt ask to be a mod, i offered. I know this is a new project so out of kindness i want to help if he needs it. There is a little bit of a difference. I know what you mean relative to 10 year olds begging to become a mod so i can see where you're coming from though  Grin.

yo man I can help take part in this and setup a better server. Hit me up if you still need this done
Do you program in Java, PHP, and have an adequate knowledge of JSON-RPC commands for bitcoind and MySQL syntax? If not, you can't help. Roll Eyes
Indeed. If you need a moderation team I can help.

I'll take you up on this offer.

Code:
1) Join playbitcraft.pw.
2) /register <password>
3) PM me your in-game username.

i could also help moderate if you need people, let me know Smiley

BitQuest is doing this (check recent coindesk article), however, I'd prefer one where you can buy in. They are free to play but if you built an economy in-game where you could invest in ventures in game and profit from them virtually, you'd really be onto something.

Willing to invest BTC in this idea if needed (and of course under correct circumstances).

Seconded! I love the idea of virtual economies using real money, and Minecraft seems like the perfect way of going about it. The concept of being able to start up a "business" in a Minecraft server and actually getting something out of it is very, very interesting to me.
Am making something like a real, fluctuating currency. Also making a Reseller rank that can get this currency at a lower rate.

Well in theory you could do that by making an altcoin specifically for the server.
Right now it is based on in-game emeralds (quite hard to find, using anticheat plugin so users cannot find easily). Their value goes up and down by me running a check everyday at midnight GMT to select a random number from 1-100. If the number is <= 10 and the emeralds are currently rising in value, then the emeralds are made to start decreasing in value by a random slope. If the number is <= 10 and the emeralds are decreasing in value, then the emeralds are made to start increasing in value by a random slope. If the number is > 10, nothing happens.

Should make for an interesting market.

Interesting. Can't that be abused by people making massive villager farms though?

EDIT: Side note, if you are going to be using resources found in-game, the server will go down. Guaranteed. Dogecraft was a similar idea that initially gave value to diamonds. It got to the point where so many people were selling diamonds to the server that it just went under.

Point is, this concept is great if you want to make a faucet type system, but it is absolutely not sustainable.

interesting, there is so much thought behind this. I see what you mean by giving value to in game resources to sell back to the server. What would be a work around? Only being able to sell resources to other players? I feel like there would be no one buying anything if that was the case so im not sure

13  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] PSU (Preferably Unused, or Used Lightly) on: December 18, 2014, 01:48:35 PM
For .1BTC+actual shipping I have a Corsair HX620 or a PC Power and Cooling 610w.

That is a really good offer...I really doubt you will find anything better for the price you are offering.

i think im gonna need around 750-850 though, i can bump up the price though
14  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] PSU (Preferably Unused, or Used Lightly) on: December 18, 2014, 01:43:39 AM
Well, I've got a half burned-out Seasonic X-Series 1050W Gold PSU (single 12V rail), which I know doesn't fall under your "lightly used" category (figured I'd put it out here anyway). I say 'half' burned out because 2 out of the 4 PCE-E connectors no longer work after overdrawing on an old KnC Jupiter. The rest of the PSU works great though...ran the Jupiter off of those for several more months before selling the unit.

Anyway, it's still a nice PSU...but destined for the trash unless someone wants it for a repair project or what have you. Happy to provide pics as needed.

haha thanks for posting but yeah i dont think i'll need that high of a wattage anyway! Thanks though!

If you can come up to .12BTC I could sell you a Corsair CX500 Shipped USPS Priority.

probably gonna need something a little heftier :/

Still looking for my first customer!

What kind of wattage are you looking for?

I was just throwing how much I'm willing to pay for one and seeing what people would offer as far as wattage goes.

What type of editing? You can't do much vfx with Premiere. Do you mean like montages and stuff?

Yup more like montages, I can do some fx in pp, things like greens screens and stuff

Pretty cheap, good luck.

Thanks!
