Hey tokyoghetto, Thanks for this journal, its definitely piqued my interest. Been a lurker here for a short while and I finally have an unanswered question!

I still dont get how holding coins to generate interest encourages the use of the coin. Why should people adopt a PoS coin? What value does it give people, not investors? I mean, I can have all these coins, but if no ones wants them because they arent able to buy stuff with them whats the point?

I feel a lot of alt coins will have this problem in the future. Its too fresh a market right now for the top choices to emerge.
