Now is a perfect time to buy based on market indicators. There is has been strong support at the 6k sat level for nearly a year now, so picking up coins in the 6000-6500sat range is a great deal!

Solarcoin and United Nations climate change The current price is like the calm before the storm. I'm happy to be getting some more buy orders in at such a good price before we rally toward $1+ Very interesting, I am quite excited to see what becomes of this coin in the near future, especially since the UN has their eye on Solarcoin. If, for example, the UN decided to invest $1 million toward the price of this coin, then we would suddenly be in the 200-400k satoshi range, or around $5-10 per coin.

everyone will say the ones in their signatures, or the ones they are holding, or the ICOs they invested
don't trust people's advice here
too much shilling, also
maybe ... maybe not I'm always open to hearing about new up and coming coins. I am a grown up and can do my own research without blindly trusting a stranger's advice

Blackcoin, VIA, and Pascal. All trade on poloniex. Bitbay and Ark trade on bittrex. Xtrabytes is yobit. ARK has already risen nearly 10-fold in the last 2 months, and same with VIA. I'm a little hesitant to invest in those at this point. I bought some Bitbay though, thanks for that tip! SLR seems to be one of the more promising coins for a price boom in the near future.

I love cheap knock-offs. When I was in China 20 years ago, I bought a cheap Northface knock-off backpack for only a fraction of the price. Can't really even tell the difference.
... if you really think about it, all the altcoins are just knock-offs of bitcoin. Big deal!
All that matters is that the public thinks they have value for investing and trading.

I'd be very surprised if bitcoin failed, but if it did fail, it will not be for the op's reasons. It will solely be due to strong opposition from the international bankers and the 1% of the population who holds 99% of the money. They could easily pay off governments to ban bitcoin, or they could put millions of dollars into ads that brainwash the sheeple into staying away from bitcoin.

I was trying to figure that out myself. Is this for real? But then again, with most new coin launches, I ask myself "Is this a joke?"

There seems to be a lot of resistance at that 600 level. That seems to be the key to truly turning this market around. So who will be buying btc when the price hits 595? anyone?

The cryptocurrency world is deserving of a yin and yang coin. How fitting. I think this pair will succeed
