2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: P2P Exchanges and vendor country location on: June 18, 2021, 05:51:15 AM
Usually there are limitations by payment method providers, such as
1) such as authorization as was mentioned by others,
2) paying to accounts from abroad typically involves higher transfer fees,
3) not all payment methods supported (for example what is available in the US, might not be available in Japan or Russia),
4) transfer times via conventional bank wires can take days or even weeks to be processed,
5) in the case of scams, it's way harder to resolve issues on international scale when banks are involved, and can take 1-2 years (actually saw that happening).

That's why due to above, on as.exchange for example, you can always select "Other" as a payment method and type whatever you prefer, or even pay with crypto for the BTC (for example can pay with USDT, BNB, ETH, or anything else), which helps it to serve as a secure crypto-to-crypto escrow to whomever needs that.

4  Economy / Services / Looking for crypto-wallet developers on: April 20, 2021, 10:36:24 AM
Hello guys,

As we are growing, we will be adding new crypto-currencies supported on as.exchange.

Currently we are looking for someone on project-basis, which can potentially turn into full-time in the future.

JOB:
Develop crypto backend wallet (i.e. admin wallet to be used on exchange), which must:
- Must generate receive addresses on demand
- Must notify main application through REST API. Notification should include: received address, received amount, transaction id and transaction fee (if applicable)

REQUIREMENTS:
- To be considered, send your past wallets' demo on testnet blockchains that you developed (specific cryptocurrency doesn't matter).
- We will pay according to one of the below methods (you select either of them).
- To be considered, please send 1) your demo, 2) your pricing, 3) in how long you can finish it, 4) selected payment method.

PAYMENT METHODS:
- Option 1: 100% post-work payment. The payment will be in crypto or fiat.
- Option 2: We deposit full amount to one of BitcoinTalk's reputable escrow, and upon completed work, s/he will transfer to you the payment. The payment will be in crypto.
- Option 3: You create custom offer on Fiverr, and we work through Fiverr with full prepayment. The payment will be in fiat.
- Option 4: We pre-pay you 30% based on signed custom work contract, and pay 70% based on completed work. For this we will require you to provide copy of your ID/passport, selfie with ID/passport + secret phrase visible on selfie (you will need to write on a paper) which we will provide and is going to be related to this job. The payment will be in fiat.

P.S. You might or might not feel comfortable with either of payment methods, but if you don't accept them - don't bother with contacting us, as we already saw way too many people trying to scam for as little as $10-50, so yes, these 4 options the only ones which we will accept.
P.P.S. You will not work on our backend, as that is not required for this task, so please don't ask about this.
P.P.P.S. This will be a small first project for both us and you to get "feeling of each other", while if you succeed, we will continue working with you for other similar projects, and potentially make a full-time offer.

6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: P2P Exchange for bitcoin on: April 14, 2021, 02:46:14 PM
I am taking this up. Adding p2p exchange to bubble... we are going to let users morph bub into a 3rd coin that can only exist on the p2p exchange and cannot be transferred because it has no wallet or chain ( yet is likea receiptfrom a bubbletx)This way, no one can rob anyone.   People not sending bubble,  sending first since the exchange token cannot be moved

P2P exchanges also start to have own coins now? I thought only CEX-es have their own tokens with zero actual use, but never heard of P2P exchanges with own tokens. That would be really funny to see Cheesy
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where you guys think is the best place to buy Bitcoins using Debit, Credit card on: April 09, 2021, 05:37:51 PM
Thats not too hard to implement actually and is also on our roadmap for future updates in 2021. Not sure how helpful that would be though, since each country has own payment methods,  that's why to ensure we are global and not within a boundary of specific local market, we decided that P2P would be the best choice to start with. But yes, buying directly with common payment methods is going to be implemented on as.exchange for sure
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: P2P Exchange for bitcoin on: April 08, 2021, 09:18:01 AM
Hi! Great topic, so I wanted to add on the company i saw recently, even if they are active for some time now: Level01 (https://level01.io/) peer to peer (P2P) derivatives exchange that allows investors to trade options contracts directly with one another, without requiring an intermediary or broker.

I would recommend being careful with exchanges and companies that make fake claims, such as "AI-Guided Derivatives Trading" - there's no AI to start with Smiley Then it says "Partners & Global License" and lists "Bloomberg, Reuters" and couple other fancy names or supposedly regulatory bodies, while simply having logos but no links or anything. While we can easily dig deeper with this one, from the surface it already shows that there's no need at all - as it's quite obvious what it is. So while someone might want to try this, be advised - it has typical signs of scam exchanges, which can be used for marketing purposes, or for scamming you. Be careful with this one.
9  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] bitsburg - Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Bitcoin Trading on: April 08, 2021, 09:07:14 AM
Is this exchange dead already?.. we are collecting data on all BTC P2P exchanges to make market analysis and publish it for the community, so found this one, but the website returns host error.

Hopefully I am wrong, but if I am not - hope nobody lost anything with this exchange. These exchange scams are disgusting!
10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of CryptoCurrency Exchanges for Reference on: April 08, 2021, 06:56:43 AM
Feel free to add as.exchange to the list, would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Adjusting it your list criteria:

For P2P Crypto-to-FIAT Exchange and vice-versa...
BTC: https://as.exchange/ - Custodian - optional KYC - centralized

But we already have patented TVS derivative for P2P Crypto-to-FIAT TVS Exchange, and will be adding other crypto for P2P, and later in this year will add Real-time Crypto Trading with Advanced Features.

And for your reference, here's our official thread on BitcoinTalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5293103.msg56732348#msg56732348

Any questions and feedback are welcome. We aim to make it as suitable and useful for each of you, as we possibly can.
11  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] ⭐🚀 as.exchange ⭐🚀 Innovative Derivatives Exchange ⭐🚀 on: April 07, 2021, 04:49:56 PM
Dear BitcoinTalk community, we proudly invite you to our Tranched Value Securities (TVS) short lesson created specifically for non-derivative professionals, and for people unfamiliar with TVS.

The short course is located here (you need to register to access it), and it won't take you more than 5 minutes of your time: https://as.exchange/guide/

This short course is designed to walk through how Tranched Value Securities work, how asset securitization works within as.exchange, and how to take advantage of your market expectation about Bitcoin with TVS, and more importantly - how not to lose even in falling BTC markets.

We are reminding about the short explainer video that we posted earlier, that will explain the TVS concept in 2 minutes only: as.exchange Tranched Value Securities (TVS) Explainer

Moreover, we created TVS calculator for you, to assess Bitcoin (available for P2P trading already) and Ethereum (not available yet) backed TVS depending on the parameters you selected for securitization, and depending on the TVS issuance date: TVS calculator

Knowing that you might be having questions about this, feel free to ask either here, or in our official Telegram chat here: as.exchange Telegram chat

12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Artis Turba | Intuitive Cryptocurrency Exchange on: April 07, 2021, 04:30:52 PM
I don't understand why no warning is put on this scam project?
the telegram is filled with complaints from investors mourning their losses !!
I have been asking this project to be put in red for months to prevent others from getting ripped off, in short, bitcointalk is no longer as efficient as before in terms of reliability, I will look for another more reliable place, because I would say that this forum does not have the same intensity as before in terms of information .. (you put a warning banner on btt, but they have scammed no one so far, in short incomprehensible ..)

Really sorry for your horrible experience with this exchange. Unfortunately your story is not the only one who had such issues with an exchange(s), especially the ones issuing their tokens (virtually everyone now?).

While not trying to take advantage of your horrible story, I wish you could give a chance to as.exchange. You can't trade yet like on a CEX or on this "supposed to be Artis Turba", but rather currently only BTC P2P (0.00% fees), and our patented derivative (also P2P for now). And we don't treat you or anyone like "investor", because we don't and will never issue any kind of own token. But rather treat you like the only important person in the world for us - the user. Without users, there's no service or business, that's why nothing and nobody can be more important for us than valuable users trusting us and supporting at our early stage.

Keeping this short, would love to see you on as.exchange, and would be grateful for your comments or feedback. Feel free to share what you like or dislike about us on our official thread ([ANN] ⭐🚀 as.exchange ⭐🚀 Innovative Derivatives Exchange ⭐🚀), and we for sure will make the necessary changes which our valuable users want.

P.S. in fact if you check our thread in details, you will see that we asked users before what they would like to see first on as.exchange and we did exactly what people wanted for now, and next time will do more
13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying cryptocurrencies with Payoneer card? on: April 07, 2021, 04:05:31 PM
Feel free to try the as.exchange for buying Bitcoin with Payoneer card, where you can place your Bitcoin buy or sell order and users from other places would see it and make a trade with you. While there are other venues also where you could do that, as.exchange is the only one with 0.00% fees and BTC network fees compensation. And would certainly appreciate your feedback and recommendations if you would have any Smiley
14  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges Demo, Simulated Accounts, Free Trading Tools? on: April 07, 2021, 03:40:07 PM

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to invest, earn and predict among new projects???? on: April 07, 2021, 05:37:48 AM
DeFi as an idea / concept is great for sure, but until they solve the issue of "decentralized = nobody is responsible for anything", I won't buy into any of that.

1) As a company / project / organization, it's irresponsible not to be held liable for customers and investors loses that result from using your own product, therefore, we don't do DeFi for example. When people put trust and money in our product, it's clear that we would be responsible for anything happens with that, and won't be using excuses like "it's decentralized, so you are responsible for your own money". Imagine if banks (yet we all hate them, but still) would tell you "sorry we got hacked, but it's your problem"? Would financial system grow into what it is today?

2) The current problem of DeFis is that even when you read that they got "hacked" - they usually (not always) didn't, but it's either their team decided to exit-scam, or one of employees who knew about that vulnerability.

Would NASDAQ or CME or CBOE or any of those be able to become what they are toady with such approach? - That's something to consider before using defi.
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is closing down acc the solution for not trading in months? on: April 07, 2021, 05:32:49 AM
I'm not siding with STEX exchange. I haven't heard of it. It may be a scam exchange or not, but my point is that if you are not planning to trade for the next several months, there is no reason for your funds to stay on exchanges.

It is questionable for any exchange for that matter to simply declare an exchange account as abandoned simply because the owner hasn't accessed it for months. It could be interpreted as a sneaky stipulation in their ToS, or even an attempt by them to just confiscate the funds for no other reason than wanting them.

Let's be honest and call the things what they are. It's not "confiscating funds", but it's literally stealing.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to invest, earn and predict among new projects???? on: April 06, 2021, 03:12:29 PM
Well said, it's true if not 100% it's  99% that those who guarantee profits fall into scam project,

those who managed to earned are being allure to recruit more people to invest too, only to realize

that they are supporting scammers, along the way they will see that people behind such project

are  running away together with the fund.

Yes, that's exactly always the case with "guaranteed profits". The only one who benefit there is the founder / (founding team), and not even the early adopters most the times, because their profits will be "paper profits" that is impossible to convert into anything.
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is closing down acc the solution for not trading in months? on: April 06, 2021, 03:09:32 PM
Wow, those exchanges and services you described here guys really look horrible. It's a disgrace not only to the blockchain industry, but to the overall FinTech world. Although it reminds of some anti-utopian moves where you gotta pay for NOT watching an ad, here you gotta pay for NOT using a service Cheesy what a hell...

Can't speak too much for others and what other exchanges will be doing about it, at least we guarantee that such things are never gonna happen with us. And we are as transparent as we possibly can about all fees and potential charges for customers (in fact we don't have any fees for our recently launched new product - BTC P2P, and will never have, while for others - there won't be any fees until certain conditions are met, which are openly disclosed here: https://as.exchange/fees). Would be really grateful for all your comments and feedback, and hope that we finally built something right for the crypto community with the community in mind.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to invest, earn and predict among new projects???? on: April 06, 2021, 03:01:40 PM
Invest on the platforms of leading IDOs. If I were you, I would not trust IKO or IEO on weak exchanges, and it is quite difficult to get into IEO on large exchanges.
Therefore, it makes sense to think about reducing risks by taking part in proven projects that are guaranteed to bring profit to everyone who happened to take part in sales. IDO is now showing wild results.

A common and well known rule in finance - anyone guaranteeing profits, is a scam. Nothing is certain under the sun, and that's the thing many new investors don't know about but fall under hype marketing tactics guaranteeing profits, dreaming that "this is the thing that will change my life, because it's the next Bitcoin". Just to find themselves in the end holding illiquid tokens or being investors of effectively a simple landing page + some smart contract purchased & modified for $100-200. So just a friendly advice - be very careful with such things.
20  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where you guys think is the best place to buy Bitcoins using Debit, Credit card on: April 06, 2021, 02:57:24 PM
Coinbase is probably not the best choice given their historically trash customer service.

I think that Binance is a really good alternative, although their services might be affected by the recent CFTC probe.

Frankly, buying BTC with debit/credit cards is almost always a bad idea given that you're going to get rates that are at least 1-2% above spot accounting for all the processing charges, even at large exchanges. If you're buying from P2P platforms then this could go as high as 10%.

Just deposit via bank transfer/cash deposit instead, it's much more cost effective.

The rates on those old P2P platforms are with such high premium because of multiple layers of fees added:
+ blockchain network fees (can be as high as $15-50)
+ P2P platform trading fees (typically 1%)
+ deposit/withdrawal fees (if any, but usually not)
+ final end-payment method for cash conversion fees, i.e. Visa/PayPal/etc. (can be from 0.1%-to-1.0% depending on service provider and your country)
= 3-4% so far of additional fees

and last, but not the least "fee" is the greed of buyer / seller, and local liquidity premium (less liquidity -> higher premium)

That explains such price discrepancy. And that's what we are aiming to solve at least partially on as.exchange (https://as.exchange/BitcoinZeroFee) by eliminating P2P fees, and compensating users their BTC network fees where you can buy Bitcoin using debit/credit card or any other payment method. So, would be really happy for your feedback and comments guys. Let's make P2P trading great again, together Smiley
