Hope is no friend in crypto. Looking at the market right now I think that for example XRP has very much potential. There XRPbull dropped from 50 to 0,5. Note,  you can think whatever you want from currencies you dont believe in. However, it doesnt matter. It is so stupid if you believe in one currency. See potential and act. It is what I have done over the past decade and it works. Whether it is crypto are something else.

A large disadvantage of Ether is that it has a scaling problem. Therefore, Ethereum 2.0 has been created. Transaction costs at ether are paid in fuel currency which is expensive if you scale.
Due to the need of ether in Ethereum 2.0 it is likely that the price of Ether will increase as supply will be used in ETH 2.0 instead of regular ether exchanges.
XRP is very cheap and very fast. Furthermore, the company they have tries to integrate it in society. Note, this is one of the reasons why ETH 2.0 was created. The creators of ether realized to fully decentralization is impossible as it cannot be implemented in our economy. ETH 2.0 is a centralized platform for decentralized exchanges.
