1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.3b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 30, 2020, 09:57:05 PM
hi i am new to ethereum mining and to PhoenixMiner can anyone explain why my 1060 6gb is only running at a reported 15.6MH/s when this chart https://www.kryptex.org/en/best-gpus-for-mining says it runs at 22MH/s? My GPU utilization is at 100% am I doing something wrong? I didnt see that the latest drivers from nvidia were bad.

Did you to go down on core and up on memory?

On linux i use -400/+600...for windows double those.  I get 23-24mhs per card limit to 80watts max.

no idea. I just started it after putting the info into the bin file under start_miner. Also I wasnt sure if this thread was active my b. I cant delete my topics as well weird. I run windows 10 with a stock settings on my 1060 does it make a huge difference with overclocking and undervolting? Are you refering to the in app GPU tuning parameter in PhoenixMiner?

afterburner is software that should let you adjust your core / memory / power level

thank you. on my pool's website it says the reported hashrate has stopped at 0 what do i do?

If the miner is showing 0 then you may have to try higher core and lower memory oc settings.  move core up and memory down 50 - 100 at a time until it stays mining.  Watch the temp on your card.   Max safe for nvidia is 80c...i prefer to be 60c.

thats the thing, I didnt overclock my card at all at the effective hasrate went close to zero and the reported stayed at zero for several hours. the pool website was still active but my miner software reported a hasrate of 15 consistently so it was mining but not reporting it what could happen?
