this is way stupid, all 30-120sec coins are filling my hd and they all yet some months old...
even bitcoin takes less space and time , guess why?
Because we have no Database yet and because we have 1 Minute blocktimes so you need to save 10x more blocks than Bitcoin? yep! would greater blocktime be for the future? even if the diff will go up, but i think solo times are way over, (and the orphans...) |

Why Cryptsy and Mintpal didn't add MRO to coin voting?
afaik its a technical issue. to add a bitcoin/litecoin-clone is no big deal for them. but monero etc are different and require some extra work to do. they just dont know how to add this coin dont ask them what they cant do.. |

no, gpus got new miner hashrate wet 50% up with this new miner. people was called fud and scam when they said there is secret faster miner, now it is for everyone see who tells the lies? my guess: price will drop same 50% to 0.008 in 2 days download your faster miner, dont miss hashtrain: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.0Well, that one is everyone using for like 2 weeks already  pushing my 280x at 3.2 MHs (cant go higher that 1100/1500) thread is 4 days old.. github code 5 days old.. i got 3.6mhs at 1150mhz, earlier miner 2.2mhs=over 50% no it is 8 days old... this guy was first but asked 2% fee (wich was bypassed easely) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=616786.msg6824642#msg6824642then there was reversed engeniering and code implemented in a non 2% fee version that 2% miner did not really ever work this fast, i got only 2.6mhs out of it and there was no source then |

As most of your are aware, there was a critical problem with the masternode payments system yesterday that caused the network to fork into many smaller networks and caused a great destabilization. This was either due to an intentional attack on the network or an issue with the masternode payments system, in either case we have a solution for masternode payments that will be safe for the network in the future.
Once we learned the exchanges were on different forks, it was too late to do a proper fork in the future so we opted to fork immediately. The network updated rather quickly and stability was restored within a few hours.
Prognosis of the network
At this time the network is healthy and has been on the same chain since the event. We’ve reached out to every pool and exchange and no funds were lost during the event.
No More Forks
Beyond this point we will not need to hard fork the network to implement the rest of DarkSend features. This is an example of why hard forks are dangerous and we want to avoid them in the future.
Masternode Payments
We’ve wanted to increase masternode payments to 20% for a few weeks now, but have not been able to since the code was already going through the testing and launch stages. This will give us an opportunity to add greater incentive to secure the network and run masternodes.
Before moving onto RC3, the next version of Darkcoin will now include the masternode payment system (with 20% payouts). The method we’re going to use for masternode payments is not critical and can’t cause a hard fork so it should be rather quick to implement, scheduled for June 14th.
Release Candidate 3
DarkSend RC3 will include a greatly improved anonymity model and support for multiple “tickets” per masternode.
After completing masternode payments, over the next few weeks I’m going to be working with the core darkcoin team to establish a full fledged development team to help with Darkcoin and DarkSend. This should allow us to move at a similar pace of development with much greater quality. The next version of DarkSend is scheduled to be released at the end of June.

I am not a troll but I honestly don't understand how it's possible to start paying masternodes from block rewards without hardfork.
We already had the hardfork to start paying them, but then had to switch them off temporarily. The fix & switching back on doesn't need a hardfork. But wasn't that temporal shutdown carried out by a (yet another, very quick) hardfork just like the earlier start of the payments was? How does the network know if masternodes should be paid or not? pool updates probably. smart guys... i want to really hear evan to report the cause of fork! |

 The more I see this, the more I love it. It's so goddamn transnational corporation of a dystopian future. also..... For the last 2 weeks, every time I have seen references to 'mintpal', I have imagined a Glaswegian bloke saying it in admiration of his friends new car.... "aye!....thats mint pal!" The thing is, 'mint' was doing the rounds 20 years ago and I havn't heard anyone say it in ages so I wasn't too sure. So, curiosity got the better of me and I googled "thats mint pal". Well, guess what images turned up!! How I laughed.... You made my day, I salute you Sir. Now I have to explain my Mrs why I laughed so hard  mr. spock coin! |

..there's no future in mining Dark. I've wondered about that. Who keeps mining when it's "not worth it", that'll keep the blockchain calculated? i would fork the stupid moores law out of its code souns nice and fancy but its really useless |
