And what a rollercoaster these past 2-3 weeks have been. I'm going to spare you guys your time and tell you right now, I'm not going to rehash Mike's statement but instead take the time and both publicly and formally apologize for having to lower my personal flame on this project for the past bit. Academics got the best of me, and under duress we had an external developer come in and communication began to slip, eventually leading to some rash decisions being made. I apologize for the headaches and heartache, and I will be devoting my time to reviewing everything we have implemented from the top down, going over proposed git-mits, and planning the next steps to solidify our position in the charity ecosystem. What you will be pleased to hear is that during our developmental downtime, we partnered up with the doabitofgood.com team and are pleased to see our friends and supporters launch their cutting edge screensaver software that seeks to expand the cryptocurrency ecosystem further out than it currently reaches. Viva la Givecoin.

I've been pretty hectic with some external work myself, so I haven't had time to look into an android wallet solution, but know it is on my to-do list. I definitely want to see portability up next. Hang on tight guys!

So what? Slow dying? 400MH hashrate. People? where r u?
I'm showing 435 & I'm kinda enjoying mining peacefully without the drama & crumb-scrabbling that has come to be almost compulsory for new coins. The greedy asic-farms can't play, the rest probably haven't even bothered to find out what X-11 is, and it means, for them. I'll have a nice bag by the time they do, and I won't be putting a penny of it on the exchanges for quite a while - possibly months. Long may it last, my friend I like your style. We're actually still in the process of setting up relationships among various charities in order to further secure our reputation, until then, we expect things to be a little more quiet than some of the other crypto's we've seen. And honestly, as a developer, I'll take a slow tread backed by a set of loyal supporters. It gives me more time to poke and prod at our back-end and resources.

I think the publicity is not in place, and the price is too low, mainly due to the impact of this currency
Well, we certainly want to hear from the community and set this up to be as positively impactful as we can. We've been reaching out to dozens and dozens of different charities, trying to get feedback and build up some partnerships; if only to spread the name. Is there anything specific you have in mind that you feel we should be mindful of or try? I'm always open to sharing ideas with the team, I just want to hear them!

Sorry guys, it's just gonna be a few minutes longer. The bloody thing is causing github to lock up while it goes through all the changes.

I replying to this question solely to have useful information picked up by the Google crawler; but that is an error that is SOLELY related to Boost and the build process. Either the makefile does not point to boost correctly, or you have an incorrect version of boost.

My student loan account will humbly be the first to accept donations.
me too, by the way You guys laugh and joke about that, but it's not funny once you hit the point where you don't even want to look regularly anymore! Although I've got to say, I think this is a better route than the Greek life's abhorrent "can shake"!

Although is the official contact method for development/code concerns, questions, and advice; you guys are always welcome to PM me on this account. I don't bite, and as long as I have a little free time, I'm always happy to help!

How the hell are people mining at 3TH/s? O_o That's not in the terahash realm. You're looking at a stupidly powerful system, but it's certainly not in TH/s. Assuming a botnet with 9-11MH per physical CPU, that's a network of approximately 300,000 systems. OR SHA-3 ASICS!

I am unable to get boost installed I have followed this guide and still when I run the command to install boost it cannot find gcc any ideas C:\deps\boost_1_55_0>bootstrap.bat mingw Building Boost.Build engine 'gcc' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Failed to build Boost.Build engine. Please consult bootstrap.log for furter diagnostics.
You can try to obtain a prebuilt binary from
http://sf.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7586&package_id=72941
Also, you can file an issue at http://svn.boost.org Please attach bootstrap.log in that case.
C:\deps\boost_1_55_0>
Traverse to: $BOOSTDIR/tools/build/v2/engine/build.bat and at like line 93 before :Guess_Toolset put 3 spaces(new lines) in then after that, type out cmd /c 'bootstrap.bat mingw' There ya go.
