Block 200,001 — 300,000: 0-250,000 DogeCoin Reward
Does this still apply? No, since 1.6 hardfork, reward is no longer random, but fixed. Indeed, now at 125000 Thanks.

What's wrong with Bitcoin?

I tried to start a similar service, www.coinbook.me. Wasn't received well. Hope your venture goes better. Cheers!

I think 21 billion is a solid amount, since it's 1000 times more than Bitcoin.

Nice idea, like a [Suspicious link removed] but for cryptos.
It's a bit different than that. You have one Addie and when someone asks you for your address, you can simply tell them your Addie, which is a lot easier to remember.

I don't think captchas would work out, since sites like http://megatypers.com/ exist. Also, websites that already use captchas could just give out the captchas that they're mining instead, giving them a huge advantage. for that it can use some different kind of captchas or anything that is not solveable by a botnet. If a human can solve it, a group of humans can solve it for a website. How would you solve the second problem by the way?

Seems like a great site! I'm sure it will make developers motivated to do things that they wouldn't have bothered with otherwise.

I think they lost a lot of money due to a bug in their system, where the user could withdraw twice, so they had no other option but to run with the money they had left.

Could you imagine if you were that monkey?

When you're comparing coins, it's better to use their market capitalizations instead of prices, since their total amount of coins vary. For example, one 42Coin(total of 42 coins) is worth about $27000 and it's not very popular, while one Dogecoin(total of 100 billion coins) is worth about $0.00087 and its popularity is booming. Hoping for DOGE to reach $1 is quite surreal. I'd rather ask “Which altcoins will break $100,000,000 market cap in 2014?”.
