1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to find the first 35 digits of bitcoin private key on: October 24, 2022, 10:35:37 PM
So you don't have any info about the private key.
What you're trying to do is impossible.

If you want an useful answer, try to formulate the question better.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to find the first 35 digits of bitcoin private key on: October 23, 2022, 09:05:46 PM
This depends on several things,
If you say digits, I'll assume hex format.

One option would be to, as the previous user said, brute force 140 bits, which is a waste of time unless you get extremely lucky.
But if you have the corresponding public key, it should take a lot less than that, about 2 ^ 70 operations on average.
This would be the software you'd use, or a similar one with some modifications:
https://github.com/JeanLucPons/Kangaroo
That should be doable with a pretty big investment in renting GPUs and a small modification of existing programs to add stride.
But if the address is an ancient one with hundreds or thousands of BTC, it would be worth it.

With all that said, in case you bought this from some guy, it's most probably a scam.

Meditation is the best solution. I couldn't even sleep because of the intruding thoughts. I would take sleeping pills and other type of pills to help me through the day.
Now i can ignore those thoughts and at least go through the day like a healthy human.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: August 07, 2021, 01:02:49 PM
It depends on the individual. Some are self-learners some are not and need an extra push.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should you own at least one Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2021, 12:14:32 PM
It's a speculative asset. Doesn't matter who says that it will reach one million, it's just a gamble. So don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What hatred do people have for Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2021, 11:58:40 AM
They thought they would gamble, see numba go up and drive a Lambo the next day. But they don't, because they get in when it's at the ATH, so they call it a ponzi. Of course this is just one of the reasons.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Share your reason why you started to play Cryptocurrencies on: August 04, 2021, 10:55:02 PM
Most people that got into it after 2017, did so for the Lambo. Only the early adopters got into it for the technology. And lets face it, buying illegal stuff from the darknet also played an important part in adoption.
For me, it was a game called SatoshiMines, that a friend got me hooked on. Some of you guys might remember it. Got bored of losing, and started trading.

I personally find the online approach wrong. You should try getting confidence by interacting with girls face to face because that allows you to see what they like or don't like. When you are confident, you get all the chicks. After that, you can choose a girl that you think is able to understand you. It's more work, I know, but it's worth it.

Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System

That was a few narratives ago and pre-2017 thinking. From 2017-2021 it was digital gold or a store of value. That narrative has switched again as the market is trying to aim at a larger target to justify a higher valuation. The new narrative is that Bitcoin is digital real estate, which is what they’ll need to sell it as in order to reach valuations of over a million dollars per BTC.

It's funny how they try to find utility for it when the the whitepaper clearly says what it should be. But gold or real estate sound better than cash.

Original plan was to have zeta by now. The schedule got somewhat disorganized

I really don't think this is real. And if it is, the context makes all the difference. I mean, maybe it's just an estimation on how the virus would evolve, not an actual plan made by someone.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Private key missing 29 characters on: August 04, 2021, 08:34:15 PM
I really believe this was bought from some scammer.
I remember years ago on some darknet markets some scammers were selling lists of "stolen" private keys which obviously were empty.
I guess they had to improve their tactics, and make it impossible to know for sure that it's a scam.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of low marketcap coins on: August 04, 2021, 06:35:16 PM
Obviously, the problem with low market cap coins is that it makes newbies think that it's an easy 50x or 100x on their investment, which would be a relatively life changing amount. Most newbies that want to invest, don't want to get 2x or 3x their investment, since that investment is $1000 tops. Anyway, investing in any coin/token that just promises riches without any providing any actual utility is just like gambling.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If Trump had said the sky was blue... on: August 04, 2021, 04:58:30 PM
It's true that they antagonized him. He didn't have a politician's filter, so it was easier for them to do so.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why privacy matters on: August 04, 2021, 04:15:42 PM
Everything that was made in Silicon Valley is an infringement on people's privacy. Unless there is a major change to the way social media companies monetize their services, there will be no improvement on this issue.
Now monetization is done through ads and data collection, which I believe should be illegal. I would much rather pay a small fee per activity(post, like, etc.) to every service that I use than have everything collected into a database then sold to the highest bidder.
I think privacy matters because every man has fears and thoughts that if known, could put him at a disadvantage.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Trade On Emotions on: August 04, 2021, 03:12:06 PM
Some people have the luxury of investing money that they could live without, It's harder not to be emotional for people who want to invest the small amount that they have hoping they will get a small profit so they get a break. It's all they've got. And poor people fall the most for hypes.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Great Reset: The Global Elite's Plan to Radically Remake Our World on: August 04, 2021, 02:43:12 PM
As long as the Second Amendment exists, they will have a hard time doing this. Their attempt to take our guns away has failed and will continue to do so. There is nothing to "build back better", nothing is destroyed. We have a great foundation to improve upon.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you miss Trump? on: August 04, 2021, 02:35:05 PM
He was the most entertaining president for sure. He had no filter, which is why so many people loved and hated him.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam? on: August 04, 2021, 02:28:35 PM
While I don't think it's a scam, it's so pumped up that it seems like it is. And it's obvious that all governments are using it to their advantage.
