Mintcoin Smiley

A relatively new Cryptocurrency but one that is growing quite rapidly.
Mintcoin is an eco- friendly coin as it only had 5 weeks of PoW mining. After this we switched over to PoS, so that the coins are released based on PoS, using a lot less electricity than PoW coins.
With an active community, multiple exchanges it has been accepted on and new merchants being added often, I believe there is a bright future for Mintcoin. We recently set a bounty, and within a few hours had a Mintcoin multipool!

What we are currently missing is a direct Fiat <--> Mintcoin exchange.
Vault of Satoshi would be perfect for Mintcoin and I believe you will see a lot of trade when added to your exchange!

Thank you for reading, check out our Subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/MintCoin/
or join in the IRC chat (https://www.kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/mintcoin) where I'm sure someone will help you with any questions you might have Smiley

It's odd that if someone thinks that a currency is going to fail, that they'd spend time photoshopping a picture to post on the coins forums. It couldn't possibly be they want to spread unjust negativity :0

But yeah, I'm holding, ignore the trolls people

The only way to relieve the sale enormous pressure forcing this coins price down is if a substantial amount of sale orders are removed from the board.

There is some buying pressure but it is a canny operator who will never budge, they have to be forced out of position by some type of radical change in the situation.

Remove all sell orders under 60 and MINT for at least one 20 day period!

Otherwise be prepared to dump for an enormous loss. We are almost at single digits.

My body is ready!

Only people who bought in under 10 satoshis can sell for a profit now. Join me in removing your sell orders and pledging to mint for for at least the first 20 day minting period.

Let us inaugurate the Brotherhood of the MINT, a guild of currency investors dedicated to making this coin a truly utilitarian, and thus truly profitable, currency. Since only by community consensus can a currency work this is what has to be done to solidify our community and it's fighting spirit.

Our first order of business should be a pledge not to sell for under 60 satoshis for at least one 20 day minting period.

Move your coins out of all exchanges and into your wallets. Join us and we will control our own destiny!

That sounds like a brilliant idea! Do you want to post it to the Subreddit to let more people know?

It looks like the sell walls are beginning to thin!

They were all solid 5 BTC earlier.
The 11 Satoshi buy wall is building up a bit.
Just the wall at 12 Satoshi sell holding the price down now. That could move at any moment. Wouldnt be suprised if we see upward movement that the sell walls at higher prices disappear

I have pointed my 8.2Mh/s at the multipool but i really dont like seeing the price of this coin continually dropping. With around 11 mil of them was hoping to get a good return at some point?

The coin has held reasonably well and there is good confidence it is going to go up. The only people now getting these coins are buying them, there are no miners dumping this coin. When the selling pressure goes/ whales stop holding the price down, we'll see a nice overall price rise.
At least for now a low price mean that the miners on the Mint multipool are getting their Mint for cheap Smiley

11 Million! Impressive amount, wish I had that amount Smiley

Bounty set, and promotion done by the community!

Got to love the community on this coin, now lets watch this pool and Mintcoin grow Cheesy

The mining mintcoin pool bought 456,444.175 mintcoins in the last transaction and shared them in 62 workers (about 18:05 EST). Not bad for 1 day of life.

 Grin

Very impressive indeed

It is impressive, but I think it also illustrates the need for more Miners. 456,444 Mintcoins only represents a .07 BUY which will not move a market. So if you are a Mint supporter and you have the equipment please start mining http://mintpool.us/mint/index.php

That's it for me today, I've been all over this thread recently Grin Keep Mint Alive!
I would  put another of my GPUs towards it if I knew that it would work with separate cards pointed with same wallet address, or if the pool had something implemented to allow for separate workers...

You use the same address for the 2nd GPU Smiley
